We stumbled across Groucho's Deli less than an hour before they closed. Lots of seating. The service was great. They have a pretty big menu for a sandwich shop. I got the club--o.m.g. bacon! Seriously, half the sandwich was bacon. Of course, it was yummy! My husband got the chicken pita and absolutely loved it. He's a bit disappointed that we don't live in the area because he'd eat it all the time! Both came with a pickle and chips for a ridiculous low price! I love a nice sandwich, and normally I go to Jersey Mike's because they have gluten-free options. I went into Groucho's, and they also now have a gluten-free option. The lady who was helping us was super nice and understood my allergies. There were a lot of people there on a Sunday after church; it was so nice and exciting. It was a great meal and a good price. Love to support businesses that offered Gluten free options!!! We will be going back for sure. read more

Nice place to eat right off the interstate. Lots of seating and great service. Reuben was excellent. Condiments come on the side. Thousand island dressing was watery. Potato salad had been in the refrigerator too long. Prices are very reasonable. Parking lot is a bit difficult to figure out especially at night. Food order came out within minutes. read more

I usually get the wife's salad but opted for the turkey and added cubed cheese. I felt like I got a bunch of lettuce and not enough topping this go round. I tried cutting the turkey up into smaller pieces as you see in the photo. Next time, I will have to ask for extra toppings. Original location in 5 Points is always my tried and true, open since 1941, and have not only stuck to their amazing sandwiches' consistently but equally cool vibe and service. No one can duplicate their amazing 45 sauce. Even when presented the challenge. Always a source of comfort, excellent sandwiches and salads, and nostalgia.
