Nice attempt with Mobile Drive Thru but it's whack. The old school (like a year ago) pull up to a pickup order parking spot just worked better. I still don't understand why chicken minis are so expensive nor why they got rid of large size chicken minis. I get if it doesn't test well across a market but maybe they didn't advertise or promote it well back in 2016/17. Oh well. If someone is ahead of you and doesn't get mobile drive thru correct then you're stuck. P.S. I don't like having staff out in the rain. I finally found a bad chick fila. Only 1 person working drive thru 1 person working window 20 mins in line ridiculous

I ordered ahead on the app and when I saw how long the drive thru line was when I got there I switched my pickup method to carry out instead. (I advise you do the same if it's a busy time of day) I was greeted warmly inside by the guy who handles the carry out orders. I only had to wait a couple of minutes for my order to be ready. My order was filled correctly and they put napkins and ketchup in the bag. The food was good but the chicken in the sandwich was smaller and thinner than I remember it being. I guess they are cutting back on portion sizes. read more

Despite the fact that this Chick-fil-A is not the closest for me, this is the only Chick-fil-A I will go to. The staff are all very friendly and accommodating. The food is always properly prepared and and I can tell that it's all fresh. The sweet tea is not overly sugary, which is perfect. The store is always immaculate and the staff there quickly clean and sanitize any area that a customer has just left. read more

I've been to this Chick-fil-A multiple times and I have always had a good experience. They have two lines for the drive-thru, which allows it to move rather quickly. The staff is friendly and they take your order, while waiting in the drive-thru line. It is very organized and I have never had my order mixed up. The drive-thru line at this location, in the University area, can get very long at times - especially during the breakfast or lunch time rush. However the line moves fairly quickly. There is plenty of parking as well, if you opt to order ahead for pick-up, or order upon arrival. I would recommend this location, just as I would any other Chick-fil-A location in the area. read more

This hurts me to write. As this used to be my absolute favorite Chick-Fil-A I would drive far to get to this Chick-Fil-A passing other ones because of the service and the quality of the food. Yesterday was the absolute worst interaction and it has gotten gradually worse, and I can no longer say that this is my favorite Chick-Fil-A. They are dismissive of the customers they no longer care of what they put in the bag the quality of the food is horrendous and they don't even quality check the food orders to make sure that they are correct.. I did a mobile order and they try to make my 77 year-old mother go in to pick up a mobile order. The whole purpose of a Mobile order is for the order to be Mobile. The order have been paid for online and she had the link to prove and I was able to give them the mobile order because I was on speakerphone and they still tried to argue with her. And then to add insult to injury, the order was wrong. I ordered a four count chicken strip. I got these three count dried up chicken strips and then I ordered sauce no sauce and I ordered two brownies and these brownies were hard. I have no idea where they got them from but they were like hockey pucks. I am overwhelmed and disappointed and of course, if you try to call, the line is busy which used to not be the case so this is where your left is to do a yelp review. So I will no longer be telling people that this is my favorite Chick-Fil-A. They will take care of you at this Chick-Fil-A. Take care about you with this, Chick-Fil-A. The food is great at this Chick-Fil-A because I keep making concessions. I keep saying you know oh you know it's OK they'll get it right there next time. Well this is the next time and then next time in the next time and I give up like. Money is too hard to come by. Things are too expensive. Chick-Fil-A is not cheap and so I'll spend my money at another Chick-fil-A. Davis Lakes is closer to my house the one down the street by the Harris Teeter by target is maybe I'll give them a try. This was my first time at the University Chick-fil-a's new location. It has both a drive thru and has an inside dining area. During my visit I used the drive thru. There are 2 lines for ordering that merge into the 1 pick up line. The pick up area is the open restaurant part where the employees steps out the restaurant thru the drive thru entrance and give you your purchase. Ordering was easy. The line was quick. The employees super friendly and professional. My food was hot and fresh. I great experience all around. The restaurant just received a remodel and it is beautiful. I like the sitting areas in the back, gives you a quiet place to eat. The food was hot and fresh. The staff is all so nice. WORST CHICK FIL A IN CHARLOTTE, hands down! The nightcrew is full of klutz and incompetence. I am speaking from my carry out experience, not my drive thru experience. I'll chew on thumbtacks before I ever spend another dollar in this Chick Fil A! First, let go over the basics. The bag stuffer forgot to put napkins in the bag. I have food that requires me to eat with my hands (nuggets), why wouldn't napkins be in the bag in the first place? Also, I'm eating ice cream from CFA, what happens if it spills? I'll have no napkins! Secondly, when I walk in to pick up my order, no one greeted me. In the past, every other Chick Fil A has greeted guests as they walked in, making them feel welcomed. This location does not have that welcoming feel at all! Truly get your food and go type of vibe, no conversation, no warmth. My order was messed up tonight and I called the store 5 times, left two voicemails because no one answered the phone all 5 times. Who runs a food chain and leaves customers with no way to contact the restaurant? That is unprofessional. I was not able to get my food fixed tonight, but I will be returning in the morning and everything will be fixed!!!! One way or the other! I've never felt so mistreated by a Chick Fil A location and the food was so subpar, which is why I was calling back! As per usual the customer service and timeliness is so far above par for the fast food industry. Their portions and seemingly "new" rules for sauces are the reason for one less star. I do feel like they are making more than enough money to adequately portion fries and sides. However, in 2023 it seems to be an issue for corporate. Well see what the new year brings. read more

Chick-fil-A is my favorite fast food chain. It is hard to find a chick-fil-A that isnt busy. However, my experience today still make me feels sick. I got the peach milkshake and the 12 counts today. As I was enjoying my milkshake, something unexpected was suck into my mouth.
