Burgers are so goood here, I can tell the staff keeps the store very clean. They're also very attentive! Love when they fill the bag up with fries read more

I ordered on the app a little cheeseburger and small Cajun fries. I did have to wait 7 minutes past my pickup time for my order to be ready (the burger was ready before the fries were done). They gave me like 4x the amount of fries, which I guess is the signature move at Five Guys. The burger was good! The fries were good but seemed a little undercooked. The restaurant is clean and they have free peanuts at the register. I overheard someone ask for the bathroom code, so I guess the bathroom is for paying customers only. read more

Five Guys is my favorite stop for burgers. They are simply wonderful because each diner may custom design the burger just the way they would like. Almost any ingredient that you desire can be included on your burger. You can also customize an array of condiments. Then once you have your perfect burger built then decide how many fries you want with that. I always have the regular order of fries with my sandwich. That means that in your bag you will get a full cup of hot fries with another full scoop of fries in your bag. The fries at Five Guys are the real attraction. They are the best fries now available in America. The reason is they are made from real fresh potatoes. There are no frozen fries served here. Then the final touch is added with the small containers of ketchup with just a touch of malt vinegar floated on top of the ketchup. It's a burger lovers heaven! read more

Breathtaking Experience - Five Guys University Location I stopped by the Five Guys on University today around 6:25 PM, and WOW--what a phenomenal experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism from the entire staff. They weren't just polite--they were interpersonal, engaging, and genuinely joyful, making me feel like more than just a customer. It's rare to see this kind of hospitality these days, and they absolutely nailed it. The team worked together with such synergy and positive energy that it honestly made my day. You could tell they cared about what they were doing--and even more so, about the people they were serving. It wasn't just a meal--it was an experience. This team is the ultimate model of what Five Guys should be. They deserve recognition and, quite frankly, compensation for how they go above and beyond. If you're looking for more than just a good burger, and want to experience top-tier customer service, THIS is the Five Guys to visit. Bravo to the staff! - Darnell E. read more

If you've never been to Five Guys you're missing out, but THIS location is quite seriously the best one my husband and I have ever visited. I wish I could be a secret shopper so my review actually mattered lol I've been here countless times & the service literally NEVER fails to put a smile on my face. Probably about a year or so ago we visited and there was and older gentleman that made us feel like we were regulars at a small town burger joint. We haven't seen him in a while but we went again on 8/1 and there was another gentleman who had the same exact vibe. We were greeted the moment we walked in - I wasn't in any kind of mood when I walked in but I sure as heck was in a better one afterwards lol! We were in zero rush but he yelled out that he'd be right with us after helping another, but then followed up with asking what he could get started for us. Just top-notch customer service & bangin burgers - oh and their health rating is a beautiful 99%. read more

I haven't been to a five guys in years, but had a taste for it so decided to give it a go. Walked in and was greeted by an extremely friendly cashier. Placed my order and it of course was cooked fresh. I munched on a few of the free peanuts while I waited on my food. My order came out perfect and so fresh and hot. Enjoyed every bit of it. read more

I know I know I'm late to the party. But I finally took a chance and ordered the TikTok burger. So basically, it's the Five Guys grilled cheese, and burger. Don't walk run to five guys. It was so bomb I mean the bread was buttery and the burger was cooked to perfection. My only gripe is that I got a patty melt, fries and drink and spent $22 other than that 10 out of 10. read more

After all the crazy hours they were having with staff shortage, I was finally able to try a burger again. Still don't understand why people love this place. It's expensive and the burgers go limp immediately in that foil. Why do the restrooms have a passcode? Super annoying to try to enter. *Jr burger photographed * read more

We did a pick up order through DoorDash. They told me that my fries were still being worked on which I appreciated. Since I was waiting on fries they gave me a cup for a free fountain drink for the "inconvenience". I wouldn't even call it an inconvenience, all the men back there were polite and just kind! Now to the food, I don't know what they put in those fries, but no other Five Guys I've been to tasted that good before. The fries were spectacular, the burgers were juicy. My boyfriend and I were really surprised how good it was. Give every man back there a raise please!!! read more

Employees at this location are top notch. Food always hits the spot but customer service is always amazing.

Stopped in for mid-week burger. Received the correct order and it was hot and fresh. Very consistent. Prices are higher than before, but so is everywhere. Used the ladies room and there was a combination lock on the door. So I asked the staff for the code and needed to get it twice before I could get into the bathroom. No idea why this place need a lock on the bathroom, this is in a modern strip mall in University. There weren't any loiterers hanging around the building or the parking lot. read more

Five Guys - Salted caramel milkshake with bacon added ‍ - Burgers Near Me - Charlotte, North Carolina

It's a new, shiny Five Guys getting on base and knocking in some runs. I like the way management was calling plays and keeping everyone on their game. Nice start. My cheeseburger was cooked like it should (I order it naked because it's better for me, although I prefer it with the bun). Slight error as the mushrooms were absent. I didn't say anything since it was an obvious oversight. What more can I say, 'cept "Give the new kid a whirl!" read more

Overpriced fast food. Five Guys is way, waaay, overpriced for fast food. I just spent $21.67 for a burger, fries, and a drink for myself (1 person). That's insane. $11 burger. $6.75 for FRIES. I'm never eating here again. For that price I can go get a gourmet burger at Bad Daddy's Burger Bar at a nice restaurant. read more

I came about 45 min before closing and the place was very steady. I really wish this place had sauerkraut and deli mustard for the hotdogs. $5.40 is kinda steep for a plain hotdog. But it's not going to taste like a $1.50 hotdog from QT. And everything is a la cart so be warned when ordering. Order with little in front of it if you're not super hungry. A regular burger is an automatic double. Their fries are the best though! Didnt see any peanuts out this evening, so I dont know if they stopped serving them or if they have a cutoff for clean up. read more

Super yummy burger. Also great tasting condiments. Fries costing so much extra should be a crime though.

I really enjoyed my burger I got the little bacon cheeseburger with Cajun fries. The fries were fresh crispy and well seasoned. I had the veggies for my sandwich put on the side because they're typically cold and makes the burger cool pretty quickly during transport to home. This burger really reminded me of why I love burgers. While the food was great the service was terrible, I waited 30 minutes exactly for two burgers and a little fry. That's not including the 6 minutes I stood and waited for someone to acknowledge my presence and take my order. Very disappointing!!!! The team making the food didn't seem to know what they were doing. I watched one guy stand there with a confused look on his face as he tried to remember what to do next. Great food terrible service read more

What I love about this place is how everything tastes so fresh! Some people might complain that they charge more than other burgers joints, but honestly you cannot get a burger that tastes this good and this fresh anywhere else. To me it has that homemade flavor hard to find. Their fries are also pretty good, crunchy outside and soft on the inside just the perfect combination. I've decided to come here to celebrate my 4th year in the US and it was a great choice as always! read more

Oh how I love five guys! The little cheeseburger and Cajun fries are everything to my soul! I walked in right before they closed and they wouldn't serve me , saying they shut down their machines. That's not how you do business if you close at 8 then everything should be shut down at 8. Not 7:48. read more

I love this place!!! The service is great, the food is great and my order is always right. A burger, shake and fries, just a classic great meal. The coffee milkshake is AMAZING! Friendly staff, they are super helpful. The wait can be kind of long, but the good is cooked to order so totally worth the wait. Y'all keep up the good work! read more

Just met one of the most " over zealous GM"'in my life. Mr. Paul the GM , customer service was horrible. I went in to correct an order after waiting 45 mins the night before for a simple order. I called back spoke with a nice young lady , I was given the wrong food. I used my business card which tracks all transactions and receipts. I went in to show the over zealous GM this transaction on my iPhone. He immediately cuts me off in the middle of my explanation. He stared " without a receipt I can't do anything ". Mr. Paul , I was pulling the receipt up for you as you rudely cut me off sir! If this is in indication of the service, I understand the 45 min wait night prior . ( for only 3 small items) Mr General Manager please allow customers to finish their statement please. read more

As I thought from my earlier review, my first impression was an off day. Today's visit was a million times better. The staff was awesome and helpful. The food was cooked to perfection. I had an issue where I was accidentally charged twice, but when brought to the manager's attention it was immediately fixed. I couldn't have asked for a better visit. These guys worked very hard to make great food and give excellent customer service. I highly recommend! read more

I am beyond thrilled that the University area has a 5 guys! We were desperately in need of more fast casual restaurants, and five guys absolutely delivers in this regard. The concept is simple and because of this, they have been so successful! Pro tip: The "Little" Hamburger is so filling and cheaper than the regular! Also try your burger "all the way" and you will love all the delicious toppings on a perfectly grilled beef patty. Now the thing that truly puts five guys over the edge is the fries. These fries are made from real potatoes in house and fried to perfection. Try the Cajun seasoning if you are feeling daring and don't forget the malt vinegar if you want to bring back memories of county fairs. The prices are on point with other fast casual but have a much better product than say Hwy 55 or Smashburger. Milkshakes are good but not mindblowing and its always great to have Coke freestyle machine to wet your whistle. read more
