We've never had a problem at any of their restaurants until today we both got grilled chicken sandwiches mine on a GF roll my husbands on regular roll with fries both our roll were inedible but the chicken was so dry too and fries were undercooked and the lids to the drinks were the very cheap kind so disappointed!! read more

I really wish the lobby was open 'cause I reaaalllyy needed to use the restroom, but I had to wait a little bit longer until we made it to the gas station. Don't get fooled into thinking previous poor reviews of this location are probably harsh because of Chick-fil-A's reputation. No, this particular Chicks is in fact a disaster. We bought two chicken sandwiches on Saturday with bacon and drove to my son practice to find out they didn't put bacon on the sandwich's. When you get charged for half a pound of bacon and get none that sucks. We were really busy and didn't call Saturday and they are closed Sunday so I called today and have pictures and was told to bad. Took a shopping trip to Bristol Va from Johnson City, Tn. Got in the drive-thru line at this restaurant at 830pm. I was expecting the efficiency of the Johnson City Chick-fil-a and was sadly disappointed. Once you get in the drive-thru line you are stuck. I waited 45 minutes to get my food. I started in the line with 50 miles until empty on my gas gauge and left with 44 until empty. in Johnson City and several other Chick-fil-a restaurants I have been to they have workers outside taking orders from people in the line and other workers running food to cars. There were 2 lines of cars that merge into one and then you pay and receive your food at the window. Although the food was good as always the wait was NOT worth it. if you want fast food I don't recommend going here!! read more

We love chick fil a. Prob one of our favorite places to eat. But todays visit was not a usual visit. Normally when you go to a chick fil a they are the most friendliness people & always so kind. Today was different. First, lady at register was rude not only to us but to other employees. We ordered a lrg frosted lemonade, she rudely corrected me when i ordered because i accidentally called it a 'frozen' lemonade. Didn't even get a full cup :( Then they brought the wrong food to our table, a table we had to clean ourselves. Anyway, not a good day for chick fil a on lee hwy. Hope today & the days ahead get better for them & for the lady who took our order. She was working drive thru once when we came thru, she was rude then too. I love Chick fil A like the next person but waiting in the drive thru line for 30 mins (no joke) is beyond reason! There were about 8 or 10 cars in front of me so they were busy but not that busy. I ordered nuggets and a drink. That's it! When I got to the window to pay, I asked what was going on. The manager told me we are behind on cooking our food because we like to make it fresh! Not sure I'm buying that excuse! It's a fast food restaurant. No apology or anything other than we are behind cook. There was no one inside ordering which was my mistake in the first place. The nuggets were unfortunately also overcooked. So, so much for fresh made! I'd recommend going to the Pinnacle location over down a couple exits instead of having to wait like I did. Evidently I'm not the first person to experience this. Sounds like some training needs to be done to get back in line with the other local Chick Fil A's in the area because they are way behind on service there we all have experienced in the past at other locations! After reading some of the other reviews, I have to say their customer service wasn't horrible. They greeted me and were very nice. I would say they may need to work on how they decide on what is needed for the food prep line (meats). I ordered a number 7 (grilled chicken sandwich with Colby jack) and a number 5 (a simple grilled chicken sandwich). Well when I get to the window to pay they notified me that it was going to be 5 mins before I could have my food. So since this was the issue they did state that the food was on the house and gave me a yellow flag to hang on my car so they could walk my food out. This was a really nice gesture and was appreciated! Once I received the food, the sandwiches were warm but the fries weren't cold but weren't warm...so I believe they may have made them and placed them in the bag until the sandwiches were done. We also didn't receive the sauces that we asked for but I received free food so I just gladly walked in and retrieved the sauces without a problem. read more

I was there doing and uber eats pick up .. they we're busy mostly drive thru ..there was people inside waiting also .. I showed a manager my phone 3 times to get the order .. nothing .. I looked down to my phone and I had been idle so long waiting for the food Uber eats dropped the order from me and gave it to someone else .. when I asked to speak to manager he came over and he was rushing me .. to talk .. i told him I had lost my money and order cause I waited so long .. he started getting loud with me .. so I then turned and walked away .. they further away I got the louder he got .. I have called corporate 3 times and because it's privately owed no one has to call me about the situation.. God's chicken huh?? Had to double check to make sure I wasn't at McDonalds. The configuration of the drive thru enabled two cars to go through the line while we waited and waited and waited. It wasn't a customer issue but a Chick Fila issue. As we sat in the parking lot disguised as the drive through we watched the smart people go into the restaurant and then come back out with their food. To add to the fun, we received no utensils, but just couldn't bear the sheer pain of going back, so my daughter ate her salad with a spoon that we had in the car. Chick fil a is a decent fast food place to get real chicken. But this particular restaurant is lacking basic food prep skills. When we stopped in we noticed the huge amount of people, which is totally normal for a chick fil a. But the workers inside must "gear up" for the wave of people because my food was cold. I should've known something was off, as it usually takes 10-20 minutes to get a meal hot and fresh, we got our food in about 2 minutes. Cold chicken with a cold slice of cheese; thank goodness I was hungry or I wouldn't have been able to get through it. Also, dirty, soaking wet lettuce with browning edges (first time I ever had this issue at any chick fil a). Peeled them off since most of it was green. This location is on the fast track to McDonald's status. Needs new management and retraining or just a new team all together asap. read more

This is a very busy Chic-fil-A, but they do a great job. Was going to do the drive thru, but it was packed. i was there on a weekday around mid afternoon. Once inside, I got served right away. It was so busy, a good amount of table still needed to be wiped down from previous customers. The food was great, just as it usually is with Chic-fil-A. It's located pretty close to 81 too, so not too inconvenient if you want to make a quick stop. read more

This is my Chick-fil-A restaurant of choice. I travel frequently between Christiansburg, VA and Johnson City, TN and the customer service at the Exit 7 restaurant exceeds the others by far. I am always disappointed when my family doesn't get the customer service that we have come to expect from our Exit 7 restaurant. Also, nothing beats the warm chocolate chunk cookies and nothing is worse when other stores don't warm them. I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant and only once has my order been shorted but they chased us out of the parking lot to make it right. Love this store and although I live an hour away and don't know any of the employees personally I appreciate them all so very much. It was my pleasure posting this review. ; ) read more

Stopped by on Veterans Day because I had seen an article where Chic-Fil-A was honoring veterans with a free chicken sandwich with proof of service. Was told by the cashier that this was a hoax. When I called the manager, he stated that his market director for the region said they would not be giving any free meals to Veterans. Personally, I am disappointed in this. I served 20 years in the Air Force and retired a couple of years ago. There are many veterans in this area that made many sacrifices for their nation. A free chicken sandwich from a thriving company that also claims to walk along a religious path would be only a small gesture of appreciation to the very people that help protect this great country. read more
