Paid 20$ for a 4 count strip meal and 8 extra nuggets what did I get? 2 cold orders of kids nuggets... they FUCK u in the drive thru!

New! I would lose the honey and jalapeños next time

In Bolingbrook, Chick-fil-A's new delight, Honey, pimento cheese, jalapeño take flight. Sweetness of honey, a spread so smooth, Jalapeño's kick adds a spicy groove. Efficient service, friendly, "my pleasure" in sight, Drive-thru attendant with a helpful insight. First-timer I was, the sandwich so grand, Customize next time, they understand. Solid chicken breast, a taste so divine, Kudos for trying flavors, ten years in line. Chick-fil-A's new creation, a sandwich so bold, In Bolingbrook's haven, "my pleasure" it's told.

This Chick-fil-A is near the intersection of Boughton & Weber Rd, in Bolingbrook. Don't forget, they're closed on Sundays!

NUGGETS OF WISDOM A little friendliness -- and a lot of dipping sauce -- can go a long way. This Chick-fil-A in Bolingbrook gets a lot of traffic from the adjacent Meijer and the nearby intersection of Boughton & Weber Rd. With dine-in closed, the only option here is drive-thru; thankfully they've got twin lines to serve you faster. Depending on the time of day, order takers might be stationed outside with handheld devices for cashless transactions. I'm in the minority on this, but I don't like their chicken sandwich. Maybe it's because Fry the Coop has ruined me for all others, or maybe because Chick-fil-A's in the past gave me wilted lettuce and the butt end of the tomato. At some point I got fed up and permanently switched to nuggets/tenders (zero regrets there). Polynesian sauce is dope, and their zesty buffalo is decent. Sweet 'n spicy sriracha is great too, as is Chick-fil-A sauce (which is actually a combination of ranch, bbq, and honey mustard). They're usually generous and the few times I've asked for an extra sauce bucket they'll toss it in the bag at no extra charge. Their waffle fries aren't my favorite, but they do the trick.....especially when I get to dunk them in a plethora of condiments. A typical combo meal (chix + fries + drink) is $8. For breakfast, get the spicy chicken biscuit sammy or the chicken biscuit minis. Morning meals come with hash browns & coffee/juice/tea. They stop selling breakfast at 10:30am, and like all Chick-fil-A's, they're closed on Sundays. I've been to this location 3-4 times and everyone so far has been polite and courteous, saying stuff like "my pleasure" and "enjoy your day". * TL;DR * Don't eat plain nuggets like a weirdo. Ask for condiments! The worst they can say is "sir, you already have a dozen". This is a solid Chick-fil-A with great rapport between staff and customers. I can envision myself coming here every few weeks for a nuggets combo (and to stock up on sauces).

Juicy fried chicken sandiwches, fluffy waffle fries, and flavorful lemonade are the hallmarks of this fast food establishment. I actually do prefer Chick-fil-A's spicy chicken sandwiches over Popeye's, which is probably its biggest competitor, as I find that there is a greater spicy kick to Chick-fil-A's than the other's, but it is still sometimes inconsistent. The service here at the Bolingbrook location is top-notch, and the dining area (recently renovated) is spacious and always clean.

Usually no problem but today my frosted lemonades had something black in them. I told the young lady and she asked "where?!" When I showed her she replied "what would you like for me to do?" I'm thinking this isn't brain surgery either get me a new one or give me my money back. Whelp Yelp I said I'll take a new one. She bought me a new one I get all the way home just to see both of my frozen lemonades have lots of black spots floating all around them. YUCK I've been on hold now for 20mins waiting for someone to answer. After holding the voicemail came on so I drove back there which was 15mins there and 15mins back. I got a refund on the 2 frosted lemonades. Was told it was probably brownies but the machine should have been cleaned better and they apologized. 3 stars because I had to take it all the way back and waste time and no one answered the phone.

This was written on their Facebook page: Hi All, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm one of the owners of Chi Tea here in Bolingbrook. We opened this location with the hope of creating a welcoming space for our community. Due to yesterday's severe weather and the delays many are experiencing with repairs and power restoration, I wanted to let everyone know that our doors are open. If you need a place to cool off, charge your phone or other devices, use our Wi-Fi, or simply get some work done, you're more than welcome to stop by. No purchase is necessary. My hope is that Chi Tea can always be a resource for our community. Not just today, but anytime situations like this arise. Whenever there are power outages or other unexpected events, please feel free to stop by and make yourself at home. We'll be open until 10:00 PM today!

It's fast casual and you'll see some kiosks/tablets to order once you walk in. We made our selection and then didn't have to wait too long before our freshly fried chicken sandos and fries were ready. I ordered a milk tea and a mini cup of chai just because I wanted to try everything. This place has five stars because of how freshly fried the food was. There is nothing better than biting into a fried chicken sandwich and the released steam is almost hazardous. I have a high heat tolerance, and this sort of thing cannot be re-created at home. Alas, we do not have an industrial deep fryer. We also ordered some fried pickles that came with a sauce. It's hard to hate something so delicious when it's deep fried, to be honest. Get your milk tea, chai, and fried chicken fix all at once place. I'm glad there is Chi Tea in the world, the people need this concept! Five stars.

(IT'S) ALWAYS SUNNY IN BOLINGBROOK…read more The spirit of Philly has come to the western suburbs, and with it they've brought their signature cheesesteaks. Charley's is a newcomer to the busy intersection of Boughton & Weber, having taken over a spot previously home to Firehouse Subs (which coincidentally also sold Philly-style cheesesteaks). This location between KO Sushi and a Pearle Vision opened in late April 2023. The buffalo chicken philly ($6.50 for a small) is delicious: sliced chicken, melted provolone, mayo, lettuce, tomato, pickle, and hot sauce. I've ordered this twice in as many weeks, and both times I've wolfed it down. One of these days I'll definitely get the Old School Cheesesteak ($8.50). Charley's touts their wings; you can get 6pc regular ($9.50) or 10pc boneless ($10) tossed in your choice of sauce. Options are - from mildest to hottest - sweet teriyaki, garlic parmesan, lemon pepper rub, bold BBQ, Thai chili, Korean BBQ, hot honey, buffalo, and mango habanero. Halfway through dinner the other night, I encountered a big ol' bone (nooooo) in my allegedly boneless wings..... perhaps they should amend this to say "99% bone-free" wings. Few things are worse than expecting a smooth chicky nuggy and chomping down on something sharp and/or brittle. Talk about an appetite killer. I like their style of french fries, simple but satisfying. Try 'em loaded with cheese & bacon ($3.80). The guy who rang up my order was friendly, and even though it took a while for the food to come out, they're a 'hot & new' business with a steady flow of customers, so a wait is to be expected. I cashed in a coupon for $5 off of $20, plus I racked up double points by scanning the QR code via the Charley's mobile app. I've become quite the rewards redeemer as I enter the penny-pinching Scrooge McDuck phase of my life (mid 30's). Every cent saved counts, amirite?? * TL;DR * "Can I offer you a cheesesteak in these trying times?" - Frank Reynolds, probably As much as I enjoy(ed) Charley's buffalo chicken philly, finding a large bone in my boneless wings was a massive turn-off. Needless to say I'm no longer taking any chances, so I'll stick with Bdubs as my preferred provider of boneless wings. You'd hope that a place with 'cheesesteak' in their name would put together a tasty one, and Charley's didn't disappoint. Let's just say I wouldn't have bothered to download their app if I wasn't planning on returning fairly often. Pretty good stuff. Recommended.

The service they use told gave me an ETA of 7:05pm. I arrived about 7:15pm and the place had so many people lining up outside. I was able to get in and ask about my order.I was told it wasn't ready yet. I waiting quite a while and ended up talking to another customer who placed her order at 6:50pm. We were checking our orders on our phones and my order never changed the time it would be ready. I actually got a notification that my order was confirmed by the restuarant at that it would be ready soon. The other customer I was speaking to said her phone told her that her order would be ready tomorrow! We waited a bit and then her order was ready... I was not happy. At this point I had asked different people if my order was ready. At 7:40pm someone finally said my order was being packed up. It was 8:00pm, when my order was handed to me... I was very disappointed by the ordering. They weren't able to keep up with the orders they received. It seemed to me that the smaller orders were finished before the larger orders. When we got home, the food was not great. I ordered shrimo fajitas and while the shrimp was cooked, the vegetables (onions and bell peppers) were all raw... the sopes my kid got were soggy all the way though... Suffice to say... I'm not happy and will not entertain the thought of going back there.

LESS FOR MORE This…read moreHalal chicken spot charges an awful lot for their food. The Port of Peri Peri has a storefront next to a Dunkin on Weber Rd in Bolingbrook, about half a mile north of I-55.  We tried them once before (in 2020) hoping for a better experience five years later, unfortunately that wasn't the case. My biggest hangup is that everything is just too expensive.  A ¼ chicken is $10 and comes with no sides, which are $4.50 each.  Compare this to Nando's where the same ¼ chicken is $7.75 and sides are just $3. The chicken & rice bowl ($18) was my wife's pick and she enjoyed it, however I don't think it was a good value.  Twenty bucks for what amounts to 4 chicken tenders over rice?  C'mon. I will say that their stuff is legitimately SPICY.  Even the 'mild' has plenty of punch, nevermind the 'hot' which sent me into a coughing fit.  Definitely steer towards the lower end of their heat scale. Their pop machine was out-of-order (and it appeared to have been for some time).  Dining room chairs weren't the comfiest, and the random chandelier - although elegant - doesn't in with fit the ambiance. Employees were nice. I used a coupon mailer for $5 off, which made the eyebrow-raising cost a bit more tolerable.  Without one, I probably wouldn't return. * TL;DR * I'm not a fan of overpaying, be it clothes, cars, or chicken(s). An a la carte sandwich here is a whopping $14!  (only $9 at Nando's) Also of note, these Peri fries don't come with a special mayo or anything for dipping.  Perhaps corn is a better choice? The best thing I can say about Port of Peri Peri is that they don't play around with spices.  When they say something is hot, they mean it.  Other than that, not too many redeeming qualities here.
