CHICHA - is much easier to get to ever since they moved to the mall but now I have to get a boba whenever I walk by it. The line can get crazy but it always moves pretty fast. One of my fav places for boba tea. In the area which is saying alot with all the boba around.

Love the new spot inside the Bellevue square mall. Can order on kiosk or with the cashier. They typically give you a sample of their tea. The menu can be a bit hard to navigate in terms of doing a create your own versus their signature drinks. I highly recommend getting the taro balls, they are chewy and absolutely my favorite. I tried a ding dong oolong tea with honey milk and taro balls--it was a bit sweet because of the honey milk so I would've gone with regular milk. The wait wasn't too bad either for mid day weekend.

CHICHA San Chen delivers a premium tea experience, but it comes with a premium price tag! It's basically $10 for a drink, and they only offer one size, which is the smaller size of a usual tea place's volume. BUT they are remarkably consistent, with perfectly chewy pearls and high quality teas. So, even though I'm paying a lot, I know it's going to be good. I got the Dong Ding Oolong with cream, perfect sweet and less ice with boba. The Dong Ding oolong is a high mountain oolong with a strong malty, nutty, roasty taste. It perfectly complements the cream. I prefer cream as opposed to milk since I think the cream gives the drink a thicker, more velvety mouthfeel if you mix it into the tea, plus before mixing you can sip on the cream and the tea separately, so it's like you can enjoy two drinks in one cup!

As a tea AND bubble tea lover, this place is incredible! The drink options are limitless and very customizable, plus absolutely delicious. Incredibly high quality bubble tea. The team is absolutely lovely, it was my first time there and I had some questions/confusion and they were literally so patient, so kind and definitely pointed me in the right direction! As a Libra, decisions are hard ok luckily, you really can't go wrong with anything here. They even offer you free samples of their daily tea! They were pretty busy for a weeknight and yet we didn't wait long at all. Beautiful decor, very unique, relaxing and artistic. Definitely gives quality tea absolutely crushed it on the aesthetic front 10/10 gorgeous Sadly deducting a star because I got a very long black hair in my drink and I have very short blonde hair, so it was a bit unsettling and the drinks are quite expensive, so didn't super love that!

Great quality, but expect a wait and premium pricing (4 Stars) - Bell Square location I visited CHICHA San Chen at Bellevue Square and had a solid experience. I tried a medium-sized tea with taro paste and boba, and the texture combination was excellent. The tea flavor itself is definitely on the milder side, which worked well with the rich paste. The only real downsides are the value and the timing. It is definitely on the pricier side for a medium, and because they brew the tea fresh, you should expect to wait a bit for your order. Overall, it's a high-quality treat if you don't mind spending a little extra time and money.

We stopped by here after dinner and even though it was busy, the line moved quickly. The staff was pleasant and efficient, and they let us try a sample before ordering. I love their clean aesthetic and vibe. There's no seating inside, so people wait on the side for their drinks. They have lots of drink options for selection! If you're not sure what to order, they have a "Popular Menu" to choose from which is helpful. I usually get one of their iced teas or boba drink, and I love that the drinks aren't overly sweet or sugary. This place is now one of my favorite boba spots, and I try to stop by whenever I'm at the mall!

Overall: 5 stars Great tea chain with a unified quality that excites the palette. I think the premium tag for this tea chain is well worth for because it definitely tastes much better. Mango Fruit Tea - Love the intensity of the mango flavor that blends harmoniously with the tea to create one unified fruity palette. Very fresh, very bright, very refreshing. Pouchong Tea Mousse - Its quite impressive how mousselike they were to make the drink without any use of dairy. This lemon-forward tea is bright and refreshing on the palette, and the airation makes it really pleasant on the palette. I really wanted to love this but at the price point I just couldn't get behind it. The tea machines are very nice and the experience feels very high end but the drink was just not the best I'd ever had. The drink was served fast and warm. I always get less ice and even with the drink starting hot, my drink felt watered down. The drink of the day was great!

Very pricey milk tea. The tea flavor was pleasant and prominent as soon as I walked into the store. The tea with the thick milk plus taro balls without sugar had enough sweetness for me. I liked the taro balls

Ordered the osmanthus oolong tea with mango with less sugar, less ice and konjac. Was surprisingly still sweet, but still very refreshing and very yummy. Plus, they put a lot of care into preparing the drinks fresh, resulting in the very lovely aroma of tea in the shop. I can see why it's a Michelin star boba place!

When we passed by in the morning, it wasn't busy at all. By the afternoon, the line wasn't too long but there were a ton of people waiting for their drinks. We got ours in about 10 min. I ordered the Bubble Volcano (organic milk + brown sugar + bubble) with less ice, which was absolutely delicious. Although there are a few tables, the space inside is quite small, so we found seating elsewhere in the mall. It was the perfect stop for an afternoon bubble tea.

Still just as good. And yes, still need $10 boba. I got a sample of their tea and it's so good. Reminder to try one of their fruit teas next time!

Chicha truly deserves all its flowers as one of if not the best boba spot in Seattle. I've tried several of their drinks everything from classic milk teas, fruity drinks, and seasonal options and this place is just consistently so good. Tea quality is always top notch and even when there's a massive line, they manager to churn out their drinks within 15 - 20 minutes. My quick tip is if you see a large line in the mall, just order online and swing by 10 - 15 minutes. If you're not sure what to order, grab an oolong or black tea with cream. If you're looking for something without caffeine, the Organic Milk w/ Taro Ball and Paste is absolutely delicious with earthy taro flavor and the toppings were still warm with the cold milk. Seasonal Pineapple Snowy is also literally a Taiwanese pineapple cake in drink form. How did they get crunchies into the drink? Honestly, you can't really go wrong here and when I am craving boba, this is just ol' reliable.

I am so glad that I have tried out T4!!…read more I was having my haircut nearby and wanted to order something online so that I could just pick up as soon as my haircut was done. I read the reviews saying that the service was slow, so I did not go until a few minutes before the promised time. Nobody was waiting. As soon as I arrived, the staff brought out my order with a smile and told me that the order had been ready for a while and that they were worried that the food would be too cold if I had come late. There's no slow service for me. The food was well packaged. I ordered pop corn chicken, fried bun with condensed milk, and earl grey milk tea. All tasted great. The fried buns with condensed milk was a bit interesting and different from those sold in other places. When I opened the box, I didn't see condensed milk. Normally, in other place, you will get a small container of condensed milk as dipping sauce. I didn't see that. My first reaction was, "Ugh! I might need to go back to ask for it." However, when I looked carefully, I realized that the buns were slightly coated with condensed milk. I tried a bite and it was good. To my surprised, the buns were still crispy even with coated condensed milk. Also, the amount of coating was just perfect for the sweetness. I didn't eat in the store, so I really couldn't comment. However, based on what I saw on a Friday afternoon, it wasn't crowded at all. There were a few customers sitting there. Nobody was waiting. The store looked clean and well organized. The staff was super friendly. I would love to come again!

Update- After…read morereading the owner's responses to negative reviews, I honestly feel this business is hopeless. The owner repeatedly makes excuses for the employees by saying they are human. Of course, everyone makes mistakes, and I completely understand that. However, acknowledging that employees are human should not become an excuse for repeatedly delivering poor service or acting unprofessionally. I personally witnessed the employees making drinks with seemingly no care or passion, and even heard someone loudly say "Oh sh**" in the back while my children were nearby. Mistakes happen, but professionalism and basic consideration for customers should still be expected. And to clarify one thing: I am not expecting tea leaves or regular tea to be added to my wintermelon tea. I have tried wintermelon tea in Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the United States, so I know what it should taste like. Your wintermelon tea was bland and watered down, with virtually no wintermelon syrup flavor. On top of that, my supposedly hot drink was only lukewarm, and I could taste milk in it despite ordering a drink that should not contain milk. The issue is not that employees are human. The issue is the lack of quality control, attention to detail, and genuine customer service. Instead of repeatedly making excuses, perhaps the owner should take customers' feedback seriously and focus on improving the drinks, staff training, and overall customer experience. Customers pay for a product and expect a reasonable standard of quality--not excuses This place was a huge disappointment from start to finish. First, I ordered a hot wintermelon tea with grass jelly, but the drink was only lukewarm. After my first sip, there was absolutely no wintermelon flavor and I immediately tasted milk. I went back to the counter to verify that wintermelon tea shouldn't contain milk, as I am lactose intolerant and asked them to fix my order. The guy behind the counter did remake the drink, but this time he forgot the grass jelly! To make matters worse, the new drink was still lukewarm and completely tasteless. It was so watered down that it barely tasted like tea. My children tried their drinks too, and theirs were just as watered down. While I was waiting for my order, the guy behind the counter actually shouted, "Oh sh**!" Apparently, the popcorn chicken was slightly burnt, yet they still served it to us. Between the incorrect drink, the forgotten topping, the lack of flavor, the watered-down drinks, and the burnt food, this was an absolutely terrible experience. This is hands down the worst boba tea I've ever had. Between the poor drink quality and the lack of attention to detail, I definitely won't be coming back. Save your money and find somewhere better.

My friend introduced me to this hidden place tucked away near the Bellevue transit center. As it was my first time, I took a while checking out the menu since it had pretty unique drinks. The servers were incredibly kind and explained their most popular items including the Osmanthus milk tea (which has fermented rice, so contains a wine flavor), Osmanthus Oolong Tea Latte (looks visually a lot like Molly tea's snowy jasmine), and Taro and Purple Potato Milk. The menu item descriptions are in Chinese which makes it hard to know what's in what unless you ask someone working there, which I think is the only thing I would suggest they improve. I ordered the Green Milk Tea with Taro and Oreo and my friend got the Lychee Oolong Tea Latte which comes with pecans on top of the whipped cream. I was pleasantly surprised by mine, I thought it would just be a standard green tea with some Oreo and taro here and there. But it had a ton of Oreo and cream, a huge amount of fresh taro paste at the bottom, along with taro boba as well. The tea was also in fact a really yummy and floral jasmine milk tea, which I was not expecting. They also have seasonal mango durian drinks that look really good and contain actual durian on top plus a lot of other toppings including coconut jelly, barley, and boba; I'd want to try them next time if the drinks are still in season.

Peach Oolong Tea w Salty Cream - personal opinion, I dont like the salty cream that much. It overpower the refreshness of the tea. Peach taste was very subtle and the Oolong taste was very floral but bitter at the same time. Theres always a long queue here but the wait for your drink isnt to bad.

This is their Vietnamese coffee topped with what they call "Fire Coffee Cloud" I asked if they put condensed milk into the cream but they didn't know what is in it because it's a "secret" recipe. With 50% sweetness this tasted perfect. It's sweet but not overly sweet where I feel like crap afterwards. The vietnamese coffee is strong with a slight beautiful viet coffee bitterness aftertaste. This is a very delicious and strong coffee and exactly what I need as a pick me up for the day. The staff traded fun banter with each other and seems to have a great time working there. Our biggest complaint is how long the drinks took to be made. There were two small parties of two, ahead of us, waiting for their orders. Even then, our drinks took close to 45 minutes before we finally ended up getting them. We debated on just cancelling our orders and leaving but glad we didn't. The coffee was actually really good and the pandan flavor complimented it without overtaking the roasty coffee taste. Honestly just wish it didn't take so long to make because we wanted to pop in and out as we normally don't come onto this side of town.
