Tried this place after visiting my friend who recently moved to Lakeview. One random stop-in turned into a three day pizza binge. They are fairly priced and have a nice interior with a several TVs, however not to many patrons inside every time I stopped in. Perhaps most business is take out or delivery? Regardless, their stuffed pepperoni is my carb drug of choice. Delicious and if in the area, it's a great alternative to the Gino's and Lou's our city is known for. Try them out. read more

This place was one of the only places we could find that does gluten free deep dish. They even prepare their gluten free pizzas on separate equipment and brought out complimentary gluten free bread to start. Service is good and prices are reasonable. The thin crust is nothing to write home about. They don't use much sauce, and the little they do use is kind of bland. Solid pizza and good service, but there are better options at the same or lower price point. Reading reviews on here though, they seem to be one of just a handful of pizza joints with good gluten-free options, which is good to know. Three stars for my actual experience, bonus star for GF options and the response to that lady bitching about the coupon. Every "$x off of $x purchase" coupon in the world is before tax, AND you can see if the coupon has been subtracted from your total before you submit the order. Great for celiac's and kids, they let your kids make a mickey mouse pizza at the table, they provide drawing. The kids menu comes with a drink and sides. Parking on the street which can be tricky. The waiter was a little forgetful even though we were the only the second table in the place!It was good value for money. read more

How can a place have so many items?! I've tried their mashed potatoes, lemon sorbet (oh my god.. too perfect for words), pizza and pasta. I've never had a single complaint. Their pizza is great thin crust and thick crust. I'm pretty sure they are open 24/7, because I've ordered it at 5am with no problems. My food has never been late even during the snow storm. I ordered 4 pizzas online from the Lincoln Ave. location to be sent to Wyoming via UPS 3 day. Due to weather and other situations, the pizzas were in transit and not delivered for a week. I emailed and a very nice lady named Maria called me and replaced my order.I realize the business is not responsible for weather or UPS, but they certainly took the high road in their response. This is the best GLUTEN FREE pizza you can find. Sure, there are others like Homemade Pizza Co, Naked Pizza, frozen pizzas from TJ's and Whole Foods, but no one make a legitimate traditional pizza with GF crust like Chicago's Pizza. I just made the mistake of ordering a spinach deep dish pizza. I can't believe they charge extra for the spinach because it is a "premium ingredient. Give me a freakin' break. It tasted like drained canned spinach, and the cheese had a weird texture. Kind of grainy. I don't know why or how I ever developed high expectations of this place, and my only advice is if you're looking for amazing spinach pizza, go to Bacino's. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I only gave one star bc no stars wasn't an option. I ordered online at this establishment. I ordered a small pizza, half cheese, half pepper and onion. I also ordered a soup and ranch dipping sauce. When I got my pizza it was all cheese, instead of half and half and there was no dipping sauce. When I called to rectify the situation and stop by to grab the correct order, the manager called me a liar and told me that he would do nothing to fix this problem. He was incredibly rude and told me he would not correct my order. One would expect manners from a manager but this guy was just awful. You couldn't even explain your problem because the guy would just talk over you telling you that you were wrong. Pizza was fine, not great. However, they messed up my payment and didn't charge me for over a month. They then tried to add a late fee of $10 and refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing on their part. The late charge was because they entered my credit card information incorrectly and charged another random person. I told them if they do this I will not be coming back. Mine was just okay and I was mainly happy to be here with her happily munching away on pizza she could actually digest. So for you gluten-free folks, this is an A+ place. Although we're temporarily out of Chicago right now, (be back permanently come Summer), Chicago's Pizza was our go-to date night place. Tried it out based on a friends rave reviews. This is only based on their thin crust. The pizza was overwhelmingly cheesy without much seasoning. Despite ordering pepperoni, the amount of cheese on top was overwhelming and lack of seasoning made it feel like you were eating cheese bread more than slices of pizza. read more

One of my top three favorite Chicago-style pizzas. Their sauce is delicious- I love the strong green pepper flavor. I assume those folks that despite veggies may not like Chicago's as much as I do. I will NEVER order from this place again. The worst customer service I've ever expected. Yesterday I ordered dinner. And I was having it delivered to my hospital room. The driver could not find my room so he decided after 5 minutes of looking to give up. If I wasn't a patient in a HOSPITAL BED I would have met him downstairs. But that obviously wasn't an option. The sauce is good, not sweet by any means, but the crust can arrive soft sometimes instead of crispy.. Probably if they're really busy and trying to get pizza out quickly. They have a wide selection of beverages to choose from, including vintage soda fountain drinks. I have food allergies and they have always been very helpful with my orders. I love all things pizza and there are tons of great pizzas in Chicago but this one is my pizza staple. In fact, it's one of the things that's helping me cope with a painful breakup. I'm a fan of the stuffed pizza. Sausage and Jalapeno. Stuffed all the way. Just tried the thin - also good. Have always had good experience with their delivery, too. Fairly prompt and no box accidents. The appetizers are only fair. The wings are really just fair. at best. as are the jalapeno poppers. not really good. but definitely like the stuffed sausage and jalapeno. or the stuffed spinach and garlic. if someone from out of town asks, say Chicago pizza is really filo based lasagna :) read more

Not going to lie, this pizza is so good it's giving me a pizza-lover identity crisis. I've been a hardcore Giordano's fan for years, but now that I've tried Chicago's Pizza I think I may need to reassign the title of 'best deep dish in Chicago.' It's really hard to say...they go toe-to-toe for pizza quality, but Chicago's Pizza has better toppings. Prosciutto? Ghouda? Goat cheese? YES PLEASE.
