I looked around, and found Chicago Burger, which was a hamburger and hot dog stand on the north side of the food court. Plusses: Burgers and fries are made fresh while you wait. Minuses: Mall food I looked over the menu board, and went for a Windy City Burger. I watched as the chef cooked up the two pieces of beef, then put on the cheese. I ordered it with everything. You aren't getting an undercooked burger here - it's thin and cooked through. Their special sauce worked well with the toppings, and apart from being a little sloppy, definitely hit the spot I was trying to fill. I added in a bottle of IBC Root Beer (since none of the Pepsi products appealed to me) to round it off. The food was A-Okay. I paid for the hotdog with a card and my credit card company notified me the card was declined because of multiple swipes. I contacted the company and they were rude and cursed at me and hung the phone up. The guys working here are super sweet and accommodating..but the food leaves much to be desired..my kids are picky eaters but they'll always eat a hot dog, hence our stop here.. When I visit the mall I tend to visit the same eatery, however, it was closing time and I was turned away but that's then I spotted the Chicago Burger Co still open (yay). This was my first visit, so I decided to try the chicken breast sandwich. It was amazing!! Juicy chicken breast with a small kick to it and topped off with tomato and lettuce. It was just perfect and for less than $6 it was worth it. I also tried the cajun fries and they also were delicious. Overall, my visit here was a great choice.
