    Chicago hot dog
    Mark Z.

I'm from Florida, but I do remember many years of eating Chicago dogs. I want something close to the hotel I was at, and this is in the mall in Rosemont. The food was delicious, and I recommend it. I know there are better options out there, but if you want a true Chicago dog, this is the place....for now.

Food is cheap and comes with more toppings than portillo's. Not as good obviously but well topped for a $4 hot dog The Cajun fries are a must-try, better than in-n-out dries

The Chicago fire burger was ok, although it wasn't salty at all. We asked for more salt but they told us they were out of it. The same thing with the fries. Crispy and tiny but unsalted. The service was prompt and the prices are ok.

Came in to visit with a friend who works in the mall and she suggested we come down here for a bite. Ordering is typical of food courting: figure out your foods and find a table for your party. Or, since the seating area here is really really big, why not play Marco Polo over lunch? My Windy City burger was a qualified success, good for a food-court fair for a free-range burger stand. This is not your basic thick, juice-leaking beefer, this is two thinner burgers partnering up with lettuces, tomatoes, onions, pickles, and cheese for a dining adventure. There's whole host of toppings available or choose from a short list of named permutations, add a respectable pile o' fries and a soda to make it an $10 meal. not sure about drink refills but it shouldn't hurt to ask.

There is nothing to consider as good or bad! Nothing wow or yummy! The customer service was great. The employees were super friendly!

That's the plastic I found in my burger!

Worst burger spot ever!!! My fiancé and I went to eat here at the Rosemont location yesterday 07/02/2023 around 2:30-3:00 pm. The burger was decent however, I only ate half of the burger and took the other half home because I needed to finish shopping. When I got home and warmed the burger up so I could finish it. Well, I took a bite and it was really chewy! When I spit it out, it was a large piece of plastic! What if I had swallowed that plastic! I will never eat here again!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE!!! Now I will get stared sending emails to your corporate offices and whoever else I may need to contact about this horrendous situation!

As I was eating my burger -- the first thing I thought about was how I wish I was eating McDonald's instead. Nothing felt premium about their 1/2 pound burger combo even though it cost over ten dollars. The burger came with three super thin patties with no char flavor or juices, lettuce, tomato, and onions that did not have a fresh crunch or flavor, and flavorings such as pickle and mustard that hardly added any taste to the sloppily constructed burger. The fries were a bit better as they were crispy and seasoned, but were cut fairly thin and overly salty. Surprising that the product was so underwhelming for taking over 5 minutes to cook (with almost no line).

Title: my ordinary work-day with an ordinary mall-burger Date: May 3rd., 2015 (a-gorgeous-day-turned-rainy Sunday) Time: 15:30 hour Location: Chicago Burger, located in food court at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago (1st. floor) Reason to stop: Rosa J.'s co-worker offered her some Cajun fried from Chicago Burger, which triggered her desire to visit there during her very short, 30-minute lunch break. Here's her reflection on this place... "For almost $10, it was a very, very average burger. The cashier was friendly and volunteered to punch in a ten (10)-percent mall-worker discount. The wait was too long for someone who was under the time-crunch (15-20 minutes). I had the 1/2 Angus burger combo (fries and a fountain pop were included). The meat was cooked to the right temperature and was safe to consume. Overall, it was a solid choice to fill in my stomach so that I could continue to serve customers with my happy, welcoming smile." Although Rosa J. felt re-charged and energized after her burger, she knew she should be more diligent to bring her lunchbox to work in order to maximize her savings. Her money should be spent wisely on other amazing, gourmet establishments in the city of Chicago, not in the village of Rosemont, a pseudo-entertainment district with limited options for food. In the end of day, Rosa J. and her team made the day by $50! She showed her gratitude to her Angus burger combo and rendered three (3) stars on Yelp.

The rating in itself shall be enough to speak volumes and words, but if you must hear me say something then my one word is AMAZING. My taste buds word it, MAGICALL. Wow. Just...wow.. btw ordered "the hot dog with everything"

Chicago Burger is located in the food court of the Fashion Outlet Mall. The food looked delicious , but I didn't enjoy it at all. I ordered a hot dog and fries for about 7 dollars, and I was highly disappointed. The quality of the hot dog was horrible. The meat was chewy and didn't taste like beef, and the dog was very tiny so it is not a traditional Chicago hotdog at all. The fries were not good either. They were lukewarm and had a weird flavor to them. I would not patron this restaurant again.

Easily one of the best spots to grab food in the Rosemont Outlet Mall. These burgers are bomb and the Cajun fries are really good. The presentation is also cool with the little Chicago tribute papers as wrapping. Very decent burgers.

Chicago Burger Co. at the outlet mall in Rosemont. Hey I'm hungry and I haven't eaten since 8am. It's 4:50pm now. I got their cheddar, bacon burger w/grilled onions. It serves a purpose, but it's hardly a gourmet burger.

Seemed decent for a food court place. Had two dogs with everything. I've had better but I've had much worse. Very expensive here though.

For those who don't know, Small Cheval is the fast casual version of Au Cheval which I've had the opportunity to try in NYC. There's plenty of locations throughout Chicago so definitely make it a stop when you're in town. Now is it as good as Au Cheval? Definitely not but at one-third of the price point, it's hard to complain. The beef patties are well-seasoned with crispy edges and just the right amount of fattiness. My main complaint is that there wasn't nearly enough dijonnaise sauce or pickles, making this pretty dry. The bun was nicely buttered and toasted but almost took away from the contents inside the burger. The Famous Fried Chicken Tenders were also a good try. I could tell the chicken was clean & high quality but there was some flavor I couldn't quite place which made it a bit off-putting; thankfully it wasn't super noticeable especially with the sauces. The Golden Fries were delicious and paired well with the burger & tenders! Even the Cookies & Cream Milkshake was solid! Classic milkshake with a good balance of creaminess, sweetness, and texture from the cookie bits. The interior was also bright, spacious, and comfortable! All in all, really solid try!

It's like going to a burger place with a bar inside. I would also have to add with a side of a malt shop thrown in. The lady who took our order was very friendly. Both her and the guy making the shakes seemed competent and efficient. They were both just over worked. There was a rush when we came in so it put them behind. Everything was in good repair. There was no damage to the seats and tables and for the most part they were clean. The things that didn't work for me were the possible understaffing, and the lack of a good onion. I asked for raw onion on my burger. I inspected my burger for it and couldn't find it. So I asked for some more. She was very helpful and handed me a tiny container of minced onions. Apparently that's all they have. I do like a good slice of onion on my burger. If you're looking for a good quick bite to eat or a very tasty shake, this is a great choice! I would come back if the mood struck.

The crab cake was crisp and seasoned well. The burger was cooked to a perfect medium. They combined for one hell of a delicious bite. The remoulade and pico de gallo had a nice zip that pulled the entire burger together. The garlic Parmesan fries were crisp and fluffy with just the right amount of garlic and Parmesan. The bun was the first signal they knew what they were doing--lightly toasted, just enough structure to hold everything together without stealing attention. Then came the patty: thick, juicy, with that perfect sear that gives you a bit of crisp before it melts into richness. But the real centerpiece? The fried egg. Perfectly cooked--edges slightly crisp, yolk still runny. The moment you bite in, it breaks and seeps into the meat, turning each bite into something borderline indulgent. It doesn't overpower the burger; it elevates it, adding a creamy texture that balances the salt and char of the beef. We ordered some beer and took a look at the menu. While nothing really struck our fancy, our waitress made a comment that if we did want any food, it might be slim pickings as they were running out of stuff. Turns out, this day was the last day they were open. Talk about timing! After she mentioned that, I started to notice that people were buying bar signs and various other things.
