Great little burger place inside Rivers Casino. They also offer chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, fish sandwiches, hot dogs, and salads. The food is outstanding. You order at the counter, and they bring your food to your table in a very timely manner. The side orders of fries and tots are huge! We've eaten here numerous times, and every meal was delicious. So I'm here on a business trip and decided to try this place out since it was walking distance from my hotel. Another reason why I decided to try this place was because someone had given me the recommendation... but to be completely honest, it wasn't the best burger place I've tried. I also ordered the rosemary and garlic fries but to my disappointment, the fires came out to me first (cold not hot) and the taste of the rosemary was way too overpowering, not really being able to taste the garlic, and the ketchup was given in packets!!! No bottle or container but packets!!! The fries was a pretty big portion, but to have ketchup packets was kind of a chore to open each and every one to have just a little bit of ketchup come out. They also had a broken fountain drink machine, so I ended up getting a bottled Diet Coke. For dessert, I asked the cashier what she recommended and she said that the strawberry shortcake shake was amazing...but it really fell short in my opinion. The service was great and the servers and staff were all friendly and professional but the food wasn't anything great or memorable (in a good way). In total I spent about $31 for my "artisan burger", "gourmet fries", their "signature shake" and a small bottle of Diet Coke...forgot to mention that they don't serve regular service water, but over priced bottled water. This restaurant is inside the casino, and perhaps that's why the prices were so high!! But being a frequent visitor in Vegas, casino restaurants are usually affordable since they are inside a casino, but not this place. I'm glad I had the opportunity to try this place, but I probably would've been happy eating at McDonald's and it costing me only a fraction of the price. I decided to grab a quick sandwich here before I played some cards and I regret it. I ordered the fried cod sandwhich. The flavor was ok, nothing special but with my first bite it scalded the roof of my mouth. Usually when you eat a sandwich, if it is hot your tongue, lips, something will hit it and you can immediately pull back avoiding injury. The second my teeth broke the crust a shot of burning hot oil shot out hitting the roof of my mouth burning it. This is just stupid negligence. My boyfriend and I are frequent visitors of Rivers casino. We wanted burgers for dinner. They had a special of the day which was a patty melt. He ordered that and it confused the cook staff. Grilled onions are part of the any patty melt, they missed putting it on the burger. This patty melt also called out Gouda cheese and a zesty ranch dressing. No Gouda cheese was added. When we realized they missed the ranch we asked for a side of it. Head chef said it didn't come with it. We showed him the special of the day and he acknowledged the mistake. They gave us a side of ranch. It was made with sour cream rather then mayo. Tasted like sour cream with a touch of something added to it. Patty melts are pretty easy to make. They should stick with a standard one rather then try to be fancy! My vegan burger was suppose to come with some rivers sauce. I assume it's like everyone's mayo/ketchup concoction. They didn't put it on the burger. It wasn't worth asking for and I just added my own mayo and ketchup. Will I go again, probably. I have been told by several people that this is a great burger joint and for the first time ever, I did not let the Yelp reviews scare me off and I gave it a shot. Trying to keep our expenses to a minimum, my hubby and I have found ways to keep our food bills (and essentially calorie count) lower...we skip the soda, we share a side dish, we share a meal, we don't add all the extras like soups and salads. Like I said, I have been hearing for a while that Flipt is a great burger joint and I have a few friends that actually go to the casino specifically to eat here and don't even gamble so I figured if they can do that, why can't I? Even with cash in my wallet, I proved to myself that I can have some serious self control when I want to. We walked in to the casino, stopped to use the restroom, and made our way over to Flipt in the corner of Rivers casino next to the buffet. You order your food at the counter, where you can also ask the employees about any food questions, I saw a poster on the walk up to the counter with a special $14 deal which includes a Half Pound BBQ Teriyaki Burger, with fries and a tropical shake with pineapple. Steve liked the sound of this, so that was his choice. I asked the girls at the counter which they preferred, the burgers or the chicken sandwiches? And they both said the burgers so I selected a quarter pound with cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce, ketchup and mustard. I ordered my own side of fries which you can add to anything for $3 instead of the $5 you would pay if you just ordered a side of fries. You take your order number on a little stand to your table of choice and you wait. They technically are set up to just bring you your already paid for food and you clear your own plates, but Jose was kind enough to check on tables regularly and even cleared plates and cups throughout the whole place. I was impressed. My hubby and I both thoroughly enjoyed our food and I even ate my entire burger. I learned that we can easily share an order of fries. There is no reason to order my own because they give you plenty in one order. My only complaint is that their ketchup tastes like generic crappy ketchup. I was not a fan of it. It may have been the dispenser that we got it out of that may be in need of a cleaning, or it was in fact, generic ketchup, either way, I was not a fan. We will def eat here again, we will share an order of fries and we can easily keep our bill around $20. I'm so glad for Flipt and Rivers in general. My friend had an unexpected overnight layover and Rosemont has no place that's open later than 10. A town catered to tourists and no place to eat late night. I knew Rivers would be open and fortunately, so was Flipt. I ended up ordering the Makin Bacon burger and split a basket of fries. I forgot to add any veggies and I went up to ask for toppings and ketchup for fries. One of the friendly staff members let me know where the ketchup us and when I also asked for veggies it was no problem for her to give me a salad to go on top of my burger. The fries were also tasty and with the Domaine Dupage added to it I have to say I was pretty satisfied. A lot better than some local places, and 3.5 stars for the booze and surprisingly attentive service. read more

I love this place! One of the best burgers in the area. It is located in the back of the Casino, truly a little hidden gem. I don't know about some of the complaints on this place because I have never had a bad experience here and I normally come late at night.... The burgers are delicious and come with tiny wooden spatulas in them when they are ready-precious. I had a feeling with a name like Flipt & a picture of a spatula, this places incorporates grilling. Setup: You order at the cashier, then they give you a number to place on your table. You get your own drink, utensils, napkins, etc. After you sit down, a server brings your meal to your table. I've been to Flipt a few times & each time I ordered the Flipt burger (or Son of a Flipt burger because it's smaller). I love the bun it comes in & especially love selecting from a large list of toppings. For some reason, I prefer their pickles & shredded lettuce. But I add some more toppings. The final product is pretty awesome. Very close tie to a Portillo's burger. Their Fries are thin but 'meaty.' They come in a cup & I usually devour them. Their Onion Rings are pretty good with Pranko breading. They also have Chicken sandwiches, Hot Dogs, grilled cheese, salads, etc. I hope to try some of their other dishes. This is hands down the best quick service restaurant in the casino. The burgers are pretty good and fully customizable. Their fries are pretty good and they have cheese sauce for the fries. I can't eat fries without cheese so this is huge for me lol The chicken Caesar wrap is really good also and so are their shakes. It is consistently good food with very friendly staff. I think the burgers are so much better than the one served at Hugo's. The only downside is that it seems like they don't have enough staff so hopefully that's not a management decision because their employees work hard but don't seem to have enough time to do things like clean tables or take out the overflowing garbage. Dining @ Flipt is seldom a first choice for many I assume. The lunch options here are limited: $22 for buffet, $14 for limited menu of entrees @ the Asian 6 table spot or here. After spending a night at Rivers, my then-husband and I grabbed a bite from here just because the other joints were closed. (We aren't really into gambling but he wanted me to experience it once in the casino, I just want to make that clear.) The place was pretty tidy, and their lighting was bright. There was a long queue of customers ahead of us, but I noticed that the employees' working tempo was rather fast. The kind of interaction that we received from them was inclining more toward the snobbish angle, however. Their huge burgers were passably tender and palatable. We shopped the whole day and we were in the road for a long while and just decided to stop in here for a quick bite. I was with my cousin who already went in this place and it was my first time. It was basically a burger spot that also have other different choices on their menu. We decided to just order their burgers and I let my cousin order for me. The place is a bit spacious and it has a nice ambiance inside and there were also a lot of people eating inside. Customer service is somehow great. The staff is friendly, helpful but our food takes long before is was served. Our burger both has a huge portion and the patty was huge including the other ingredients in it. The burger really looks good and it tastes good too. I was able to finish it after a few minutes because I was also famished that time and it is our first meal for that day. Best burger I had in Illinois and probably in the United States. The place is located inside rivers casino and let me be clear (I DON'T GAMBLE) i visit the casino for two reasons, 1- the buffet. 2- Flip. The burger is made fresh and i know that because I'm in the business and i also know that the supplier is Gordon Foods (very respectable food supplier) The meat is never frozen and there is no fillers, wheat or other kind of garbage in the meat which make it the old fashion burger just like when it was in the 40's 50's and 60's. The sauteed onion is amazing and i can smell it from the casino's parking lot! They saute it with butter and steam it. The fries are nice and they have beef hot dog as well. I was looking at the chairs in this restaurant and for some reason i decided to read the name of the manufacturer then googled it and guess what ! Each chair is approximately $600 !!! apparently it is a fancy factory that supplies restaurants. The decor is mix of modern 70's space era with casino contemporary. MAKIN BACON BURGER No one asked me if I wanted it well done, but I guess that's just how they all come. Fine. The menu makes this out to be a ridiculous amount of bacon, but it's not that bad. You have bacon, Canadian bacon, cheddar, and BBQ sauce. Right away, not enough BBQ sauce, but that's ok, you can ask for more. Can you say rip off?? I've been to Rivers to gamble and to eat at their buffet a bunch of times. However, I needed food and Flipt was the only one open. Hugo's was closed for a private event, the buffet was already closed...well you get me. This place didn't have a line...go fig I ordered just their turkey burger, a side of fries and a pop. Nothing fancy...just a simple turkey burger and fries with a drink. My total was $16.50...are you serious? I was thinking this better be a damn good burger. Keep in mind you refill your own pop and bus your own table. My meal arrived at the table and needless to say it was disappointing.
