We love Booby's! The steak sandwich comes with 2 sides, is big enough for my wife and I to share, and is hands-down our favorite. I suppose you can ask for other toppings and different doneness, but it normally comes cooked to almost medium, with just a little BBQ type sauce on it, on French bread. I wouldn't think I would like that, but I sure do. I also like the mostaccioli with meat sauce. I've eaten that from many other restaurants, but this is probably my favorite. It's pretty much perfect, and at $12 or 13 with a side, bread, and Parmesan cheese, it's also a good deal. For people that say Booby's is overpriced, I disagree. If they are higher priced it's only because it's higher quality. Most menu items seems the same if not less expensive than other restaurants. read more

They have an impressive menu. They are known for their steak sandwich but I went with the Big C Burger (a Big Boob with cheese). The price is cheap but I ended up paying almost 16 bucks for fries and a drink with it. The burger is delicious. Grilled onions, sauce, slaw. And it's big! I pass by this place frequently and have asked people about this place, they always say to try the steak sandwich. Well I did and I think what it lacks in flavors, it makes up for with it tenderness. I thought it was grossly overpriced for what it is, $20.99, it comes with two sides that you can choose from, I got fries and cole slaw (fries were basic and cole slaw was ok). You have to buy a drink (one refill), if anything they should include that. The place is clean and seems to have a lot of regular customers, some even playing board games. If you like the place you like the place but I'm afraid to say that anytime I pass by these Booby's I'm afraid I'll just keep driving this time. I just don't taste the amazing that others may. Always liked patronising this resturant. It is basically a Mediterranean Greek resturant . You ordered at the counter. You may sit in and enjoy or take out. They do have a drive through to pick up honk or knock on the window . The food is great. My favorite is the BBQ chicken dinner (their in house BBQ sauce makes your mouth water), cream of chicken soup and fries. The coleslaw is AWESOME too. Really great chicken Cesar salad too. Place is clean and the staff is friendly. So much history here too. I've been coming here since I was about 10 (over 20 years). The iconic neon sign bearing his likeness is a blast from the past but everything else about this fast-casual eatery is current-day. They've adapted nicely to social distancing mandates, offering the flexibility of takeout, eat-in, and patio dining. You can order online and pick up at a drive-through window. Our experiences with order accuracy have been such that we prefer dining in over takeout. On our most recent visit, the cashier asked twice what side I wanted with my dinner. Both times I said rice. So, what ended up on my plate? A baked potato. On the same visit, a burger which we did not order mysteriously appeared on the tray, but they took it back and gave us a refund with no argument. We've been eating here for over 35 years. Why? Because it's pretty good and you get ''almost'' enough for your money. Eating in is a good idea too. Clean and pleasant. Outside is available too. Prices are reasonable if a little bit on the high side on certain items. They use to have specials on the ribs but not recently. You serve yourself, so remember that. (Don't forget anything). For us, we live 25 + minutes away but when you crave their barbequed chicken, you go. I've driven by (and snickered) Booby's a gazillion times. I finally decided to give it a try the past week. If you are driving south on Milwaukee, it can be hard to maneuver a left turn, as there's two-lanes of oncoming traffic, and no left-turn lane for you, so you're clogging a lane while waiting to make your turn. It's not a knock on Booby's, but more of an informative observation. Once you do make it into their private parking lot, there are several parking spots to choose from. Worst case, you can park on the neighboring side street. Inside, there's ample seating. There are booths outlining the dining area, and lot of tables and chairs. Order your food, grab a seat, and pay attention to them announcing your order #. They announce it via a microphone, so hard to miss, but personally I'm not a fan of this system, as it can be a little disruptive when you're dining and you hear people's orders blaring the dining area periodically. Regardless of that, the dining experience was good. The vibe I got here is like an old diner. Let me explain. The decór is a little outdated, such as the upholstery and plastic coverings of the boots, although they did have two hanging flat-panel TVs. The clientele was mixed, but the majority was on the older side. In terms of the food items, they have burgers (called Boobs), chicken sandwiches and entrees, spaghetti, etc it spans various genres. There was quite a number of people dining here on the day I went, and I can see that they were regulars. I ordered the "Big Boob" which is a half pound burger, with coleslaw. It was an interesting combo, but was actually quite delicious. The fries that came with it was "meh". But overall, there's so much food options here, I will definitely come back! Booby's Charcoal Rib has been around since 1961 and like most mom & pop establishments, you are treated to excellent food and relatively fast service. I went for their breaded chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken is moist and well-seasoned, and coated with a crispy breading. The fries are crinkle cut and dusted with salt, basically what you'd get at your local Dengeos or Portillo's. Well this is my 1st time eating at Booby's and I'm so sick and tired of carrying out food. Had a craving for gyros and got the gyros plate. Was surprised for allowing dining in which I was happy about. I will come here more often because of how and some restaurants are defying which I love. It's already 3 days after year 2021and I never got the sickness everyone if not the news on tv keeps talking about and how our sad state of Illinois is restricting restaurants like the ball and chain or a sad dog kept on a chain or leash outside in the cold. I really don't believe this is as bad as the situation is and I think these restaurants are taking safety precautions. They keep a clean sitting area but the gender neutral restrooms can use more upkeep as one would not flush. Today was the worst experience I have ever had at Bobby's. The new staff there is horrible. No greeting, and getting up set over a 10 cent worth of bbq sauce when asking for an extra.
