    Veggie Bowl

Be sure to check this out in the Park To Shop food court. Chi Noodle is a hidden place in Aurora inside an international market. Just go to the counter and order. Has all kinds of good noodles to choose from. They have meaty and vegetarian friendly noodles and soups. Came here after going into the international market. It's in the food court that's just past the entrance and is one of the stalls. They have some seriously good stuff. A majority of the food has meat like beef or seafood in it. However they have some vegetarian friendly stuff. Among these is the Veggie Bowl. It's $11.95 for a bow full of authentic ingredients. There's veggie broth, veggie dumplings, and rice noodles. Also there's a bigger entree that includes vegan ham. The only part of that not vegan are the ramen but they may let you substitute rice noodles for these. Good authentic noodles and bowls. It has a lot to choose from. There's some friendly to vegetarians.

Strings was closed so I decided to give Chi Noodle a shot. Sure, it's nothing too special but it's still pretty good ramen served hot and fast. I got the chicken bowl and it was a good size serving and everything from the chicken to the veggies and noodles was cooked well. I would certainly consider eating here again if I find myself in the mood for a quick bowl of wonton or noodle soup and don't feel like spending so much.

This is such a nice find inside the Park to Shop. They have preset noodles and also one where you can pick your own toppings. The curry fish balls were very good. The Swiss wings could've been marinated more. The stand out was definitely the wontons. The wrapping is light and the filling is of huge pieces of shrimp and pork. For the size of the wontons, I think the price is very reasonable. Plus, you get a lot of noodles too.

Exceeded my expectations as I ordered a wonton and veggie dumpling with yellow noodle bowl here. The broth tasted fresh and light and matched quite well with the noodle which was cooked to a nice bouncy texture. The flavor of the wonton was very good with a strong shrimp flavor and firm texture (kind of reminds me of seven treasures). The veggie dumpling was also very fresh and had a nice thin skin to it, while the Shanghai bok choy was quite fresh. Overall, simple and well executed though a little pricey.

Chi Noodle is a two man stall inside the Park to Shop grocery food court, and the food comes in plastic bowls and utensils, but the noodle soup was near-perfect. I ordered the create your own 3-topping cart noodle with thin egg noodles, wontons, bok choy, and beef brisket. It reminded me of authentic Hong Kong food. The generously stuffed wontons were made from large shrimp and ground pork, which had great flavor and bite. The beef brisket was braised with daikon, and that beefy flavor really enriched the chicken broth. Portions are good, and I felt like there was a nice variety in the bowl. Although prices seem high for the no-frills experience, I would still recommend as their product is superior to many fancier restaurants.

Great go to spot for quality Asian Noodles. Our favorite is the Dumpling soup. It's always consistent with the quality and great service.

I would give this spot 6 out of 5 stars if I could, it exceeded my expectations. My husband and I came here on a weekend for dinner. I was craving pho, but we both wanted to try something different than our usual haunts. Enter Pho Son, a few towns over from us, and we were ready to give it a shot and drive through a new town. Their food is incredible. I'll even venture to say, their food was better than what I've had in Chicago... and I've had a LOT of pho in the city. We ordered: House Special Wings (canh ga chien) Tofu Spring Rolls Pho Dac Biet (Meat Combination); mine Spicy Noodle Soup (Bun Bo Hue); his What made this spot a winner was the quality/freshness of their ingredients. The little details of my dish that I really appreciated: a generous amount of scallions, clear broth, super tender tripe, and melt in your mouth brisket. When I tasted how fresh their tripe was, I felt like I had been consuming subpar tripe my entire life. I thought, "this is how tripe is _supposed_ to taste." Similar, maybe, to someone who has never been to a steakhouse and then tries a gourmet filet mignon for the first time. The comparison is for a totally different part of the cow, but you know what I mean!). It was cooked "right" and it made all the difference. My husband enjoyed his spicy noodle soup. It was not called Bun Bo Hue on the menu, but this was essentially what it was. He ordered his without shrimp. Our appetizers were also fresh and tasty. The wings were delicious with a sticky honey-fish sauce glaze that was finger lickin', need-to-wash-your-hands-after-you-eat-them, good. TL;DR Pho Son is excellent. Since I am still fairly new to the western suburbs, this spot reminds me of the restaurants in Uptown where I would go for a bowl of pho, but even better. We only tried their noodle soups here, but I'd come back to try their rice bowls and vermicelli bowls too. I'm glad this spot is close by, and we won't need to drive to the city to get our pho fix. We will be back. 6/5 stars!

Very casual spot where you seat yourself in the restaurant of about 9-10 tables. We were waiting on quickly and the food looked great once but came out . I ordered the mango chicken as I've never seen on menu before and was not disappointed. Crispy and saucy which is exactly how I like it . Sauce flavor was a delight and it came with white rice which i upgraded to fried rice . Hubby got crab pad Thai and he really enjoyed it. He was pleased that it was real crab as well. He did ask for chili as he likes to add spice to everything. The appetizer crab Rangoon was on point as well and then we finished with mango sticky rice . My favorite dessert when available which was a tasty ending to a great meal. I'd definitely go back to try more dishes .

Chopsticks Noodle & Thai Cafe is in an unassuming location in a strip mall. Here the major difference is it's not some order at the counter type of place. There's a pretty big menu of meaty and vegetarian friendly choices with varying levels of spiciness. A not quite fancy restaurant but better than the others around here with this type of cuisine. It's got enough room for plenty of booths and tables. The menu features a lot of the typical favorites like noodles, rice, and whatever. A lot of the entrees have a choice of protein. They of course have beef and chicken, but also tofu. It's about $12 for an entree. We got some of the choices for vegetarians. I got the Cashew Stir-Fried. This had carrots, onions, peas, peppers, and pineapple, and the choice of protein was tofu. Good spiciness without being burning ass hot. The rest of the menu has a pretty good variety of things. Certainly could get lunch from here again. It's located on Route 59 at Ogden. There's plenty of choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

We've brought traveling friends and family here, and it never misses. The portion sizes are fantastic--we highly recommend the Shrimp Spring Rolls and the Viet Taste Starter Platter, which is an amazing deal. For our main courses, we usually go with the V032 Pho Dac Biet (the broth is so comforting!) and the V070 Double 'B' Banh Mi. Occasionally, I'll opt for the V062 Marinated Pork Chop with Honey Sausage and Fried Eggs, which is always delicious. Located in Pacifica Square near the Fox Valley Mall, it's such a fun, cozy atmosphere. They usually play acoustic guitar covers of pop songs in the background, which adds a really nice touch to the experience. I got the V045 which is pho with Well Done Beef Brisket, Eye Round Steak Slices, Tripe, which I usually get when I go to a Pho Noodle Station location. The pho came out and the first few bites satisfied the pho craving. But the cuts of meat weren't the best and the broth didn't taste fresh. It was hard to finish the bowl, although the portion size was generous. It probably didn't help that we were seated next to the kitchen, and the doors would swing open every few minutes and smells of dish soap would waft through. I usually love Pho Noodle Station, especially the location in Champaign, but this was a disappointing experience. Not sure if the stores are related, but I wish the quality was as good as that location.
