    Kung Pao Tofu
    Steve A.

Came for lunch at this Chinese restaurant in Aurora. If you don't have to immediately use the bathroom after eating you got lucky. Lucky Panda is one of the many restaurants in strip malls in this part of town. Has a lot of the common items. There's beef and chicken of course, as well as tofu for healthy options. A lot of customers seem to get carryout. It's got a pretty big dining room if you want to eat inside. There's also a gaming section with a few slots. As for the food it's basic. It's about $14 for an entree. Portions are kind of big though. Has some that are spicy. We got the Kung Pao Tofu. Came with quite a few pieces of tofu in it. Too bad these were kind of burnt and tough. Had a good variety of vegetables including carrots and peas. The meal was pretty okay but they didn't understand we were eating in and they made it to go, so we ate it out of the bag at a table. For sure there's many Chinese restaurants that are much better. It's located in the one strip mall on Eola. There's a few options with tofu for vegans and vegetarians.

    Mongolian Beef Lunch

This place was well rated on our beloved Yelp but I'm not sure why. Place was definitely clean and service was fast and friendly. We went at lunch and ordered at the counter before sitting in a booth. The place was empty, but it was a Tuesday after MLK Day. So all and all we had high hopes. However, other than a superb egg roll and large portions, we found the food pretty bland and flavorless. I had the lunch Mongolian Beef and the DH had his standard sesame chicken lunch. Some of my onions were undercooked and it all lacked depth of flavor or umami or just plain seasoning. My usually not picky DH was equally underwhelmed.

Dry chicken and dry chicken in plain rice :(

1st time here.... Chicken in the rice was so dry, and no veggies, so plain. Chicken in vegetables was slimy and salty. Orange chicken was dry and hard. Broccoli was frozen, would have been nice to have fresh.

Lucky Panda, I'm surprised that after all these years I've never written a review. You have been our go to for Chinese, from the Orange Chicken, Crab Rangoon, Pot Stickers, Sweet and Sour Shrimp, Chicken and more. All have been outstanding! Sadly, when I went online to order lunch today I found you closed and the reason stated was because of the COVID epidemic. I'm looking forward to when you reopen and will continue to be our go to for Chinese.

Solid Chinese food in an area that lacks solid Chinese food. It's not spectacular but haven't had anything that was bad.

Very casual spot where you seat yourself in the restaurant of about 9-10 tables. We were waiting on quickly and the food looked great once but came out . I ordered the mango chicken as I've never seen on menu before and was not disappointed. Crispy and saucy which is exactly how I like it . Sauce flavor was a delight and it came with white rice which i upgraded to fried rice . Hubby got crab pad Thai and he really enjoyed it. He was pleased that it was real crab as well. He did ask for chili as he likes to add spice to everything. The appetizer crab Rangoon was on point as well and then we finished with mango sticky rice . My favorite dessert when available which was a tasty ending to a great meal. I'd definitely go back to try more dishes .

Chopsticks Noodle & Thai Cafe is in an unassuming location in a strip mall. Here the major difference is it's not some order at the counter type of place. There's a pretty big menu of meaty and vegetarian friendly choices with varying levels of spiciness. A not quite fancy restaurant but better than the others around here with this type of cuisine. It's got enough room for plenty of booths and tables. The menu features a lot of the typical favorites like noodles, rice, and whatever. A lot of the entrees have a choice of protein. They of course have beef and chicken, but also tofu. It's about $12 for an entree. We got some of the choices for vegetarians. I got the Cashew Stir-Fried. This had carrots, onions, peas, peppers, and pineapple, and the choice of protein was tofu. Good spiciness without being burning ass hot. The rest of the menu has a pretty good variety of things. Certainly could get lunch from here again. It's located on Route 59 at Ogden. There's plenty of choices for both meat eaters and vegetarians.

I think the strongest point to this restaurant is their portion to cost ratio, the prices already are pretty cheap, yet this is some of the largest portion sizes I've received from a Thai place. Pad Thai: 8/10 relative to other Thai food, probably nearly double the portion you may received at other Thai restaurants. Panang Curry: 7.5/10, still delicious just wasn't as sweet as I was hoping for. The white rice went quick so a larger portion size would be nice Got medium spice for both and wasn't disappointed. Plenty of spice, if you are afraid of spicy food then ask ahead for little spice, even the medium has quite the kick. Seems like some of the past reviews were harsh on the cook/wait time. You can tell this place is a smaller restaurant as there were only about two people in the establishment. So yes, the wait times will be longer. Call ahead and pick up your food when it's ready, it's certainly worth it. I look forward to returning. I would like to continue to support this restaurant and hope many others in the area can enjoy it like I have

It's a cozy byob spot with a large menu offering a variety of Thai dishes. We had a big group of 10 people that my brother called ahead for and I have to say that I was pretty surprised they were able to accommodate us on a Friday night given how busy it was throughout our time there. The staff was on it all night so the service was very smooth from appetizers all the way to dessert. I was happy to be able to go with such a large group as we got to sample a bunch of things. For appetizers alone we shared orders of summer rolls, chicken satay, potstickers, money bags, gyo, cucumber salad and the lettuce wraps. For an entree I ordered the Koong Kra Tiem which came with big jumbo shrimp and was really savory. The steamed vegetables were a little bland but wiping up the extra sauce from the shrimp fixed that. Other notable dishes were the basil beef stir fry my dad got and the Green Fire chicken and Thai fried rice my brothers ordered. I really appreciate what Tusk offers in terms of food but what has made them stand out is their commitment to service and how kind they are. I'm sure my family and I will be looking forward to enjoying a meal from their restaurant again soon.

However, it's a little pricey for a vegetarian soup. I think the large is $10! 2.5/5 stars: Crab Rangoon- they look like money bags, which I've had before in a Thai restaurant. I don't know what it is about their crab Rangoon's however I feel like they're almost very bland and you can't really taste the flavor of crab Rangoon, which is why I gave that rating. 5/5 stars: Chicken Pad See Eiw- absolutely love this dish it's full of flavor, veggies and protein. 5/5 stars: Chicken Penang Curry- it's one of the most underrated Currys, but it's very good a little sweet a little hot. Served with white rice it's definitely a good try. What I love about this place is I've asked for a higher spice level and they have delivered! I cannot wait to try more items from this restaurant and I will report back hopefully.
