I got the 10 wings, fries, and kimchi fried rice to share with my son. Upon walking in I was greeted and seated by the gentleman at the counter. He was attentive and helpful. The food came within 1-2 mins of ordering. I thought it a bit odd that it came out so quick. And I wish I could give the food a raving review but at best is was an eh memory. I think what didn't do it for me is that I didn't feel the food was cooked on the spot. Most of it was room temp and so it was most likely sitting before hand. The fries were also bland even with seasoning it lacked freshness, or could of been frozen food. The wings also lacked the fresh crispness when it's first served. The flavors were okay but the buffalo one felt a bit over salty. The fried rice was the one thing that tasted just made and homey so points there. I paid around 30 something with tip. Chi-kin felt like a fast food chain and for me that's ok but if we're paying decent prices the freshness has to be there.
Rudy was our server tonight. A++ service. I came in with hungry toddlers and not only was he able to customize a shrimp bowl to be flavorful but not spicy he also got it to the table in way under 5 minutes. My kids loved it. They also devoured the waffle fries. I loved the wings and the kimchi slaw that came with it was unique and delicious with a deep gochugang flavor. The place is friendly, clean, and has a soda fountain from the 90s that I found super charming a la classic pizza hut. Got the fried dough to go and had an amazing fast and delicious dinner. Step aside Bonchon, this is my Korean wing fix now. I've got to try the tteokbokki next time!!!!
Very good fried chicken here! The batter is crunchy and the sauces are great- especially the lemon pepper. The tenders were also great, and very big! I got the beef bibimbap bowl which was solid as well. With the egg on it was $17 and pretty filling. We came with a group of 6 and the nice waitress gave us an order of donuts and whipped cream for free, which was awesome. The service was slow and the space looked like it was going through renovation, so points off for that.
Not a bad place to grab some Korean style chicken. The food was quite good. Wings were crispy and the flavors were good. Especially the lemon pepper. The chicken tenders were actually fantastic and I preferred them over the wings. The chicken sandwich was also very good and arguably the best value. Overall, I would come here again. I can't give the full 5 stars due to the ambiance. The inside was nice but seemed to be under construction. Boxes were lying around and things felt very incomplete. Additionally, the soda fountain was very dirty. Service was good. Overall, it's a good place to grab some chicken. I'd come again but probably won't for awhile until they get the inside fixed up a bit.
CHICKEN WAS SO GOOD PLZZZZZ GET IT! really just so super yummy! didn't take too long to come out either !! yay! the rice is good but i'd probably get the fries next time as it's just plain white rice so not much flavor besides what comes off the chicken!
This place has great korean fried chicken. The flavor selection is delicious. Both times I've visited, I've had the fried chicken wings--once with rice and once with bulgogi beef fries. I really like the bulgogi beef fries, but it's a little too salty for my pallette to eat all of it by myself. One order of ten wings and fries is good enough to share. I love the sweet gochujang sauce for my wings and the bulgogi fries (can get beef or chicken) are dressed with a delicious spicy mayo. The wait staff is nice but everyone seems like they are in a rush or impatient so that is what made me rate this location four stars. It won't deter me from visiting again, though. Additionally, I love all of the signage on the walls that have puns about chicken--very entertaining to read while you dine. Next door is Side Chik, a korean mexican spot that you can walk right into from Chi Kin. Maybe one day I'll try dining in there.
Amazing food, the tenders with sweet gochujang sauce is definitely my favorite either way their chik in sauce. Fries was 10/10! Service was great and fast Staff here are so welcoming and attentive. Definitely recommend coming here, I will be coming back!!
We've ordered takeout from here a few times and it's always good, but on the recommendation of a friend we decided to dine in last Friday night. They actually have table service that was friendly and quick. I already knew the chicken was outstanding, their sauces are all really delicious, but it was even better onsite. We ordered the family platter with fries and pickled cucumbers and another five wing platter with fries... Way too much food for the three of us, but we were happy to have leftovers for lunch the next day. This large space is conveniently located in the Mills 50 dining area. We were able to hop over to a favorite dessert spot after enjoying our chicken. We prefer the wings, but I know lots of folks prefer the tenders. The fries are fabulous!
Okay. I love chicken wings! I go everywhere for them. These are SO good! Their lemon pepper dry rub is so good as well as the soy garlic (my two favorite seasonings). They are always crispy to perfection, even when delivered vs dining in. I've also gotten their seasoned corn and kimchi. Both also tasty!
We arrived around 12:30 on a Saturday and we're seated promptly. They do offer to go as well if you don't want to dine in. We were given the menu and then also their sister location which is side chick and features Mexican Asian fusion food. My husband got the chicken wings with the lemon pepper sauce on the side. They have a lot of different sauces that you can choose from. He just doesn't like to have the sauce put on the chicken wings until he knows if he likes it or not. He really enjoyed the crunch of the wings and said that they were very good. The lemon pepper sauce Has Yuzu in it and was very light. You really didn't get a lemon pepper type flavoring. I ordered the original Sammi with fries and a drink. Definitely makes more sense to do a combo. The chicken sandwich is really nothing more than a couple of chicken tenders put on bread. Had I known that I wouldn't of ordered the sandwich I just would've gone with tenders. Tenders are really big have great crunch to them and are very juicy. French fries were delicious. The only thing I would've done differently with them was more seasoning. I had several fries where it was very evident the fries weren't tossed in the seasoning. It was just put on after they came out of the fryer. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience here and would definitely come back for some chicken wings
Just left the airport and was in need of something different....different is relative when you have two kids asking for lunch...needed a place with variety but also chicken and fries lol...noticed Chi Kin in the local area while doing a quick Yelp search...pulled up and parked and noticed the place was empty...it was still early afternoon on a weekday so I figured it was just dumb luck and not a sign. Establishment is indeed going through remodeling but the area to eat is clean with ample seating...tried a little bit of everything but the biggest compliment of all was hearing the entire family say that this place was wayyyyy better than anyone expected.....quick service, fresh food, and friendly service make a restaurant great...ample seating, clean restrooms, and easy parking are in deed a nice touch as well. Simply put....we waited maybe 10 minutes for our food....everything was great...strongly recommend the chips and queso...not sure why but those chips were straight

Growing up in california, I am a huge fan of Korean fried chicken. I have been looking for a place in Florida & this is it!! You order up at the counter & they bring the food to you. Then when you're finished, you just place the baskets in the designated spot. Also love how they have an open sink in the dining area to wash your hands after eating! Parking was not too bad, but it is street parking. The food: Wings: 5/5, I tried a variety of flavors and loved the gochujang ones! The sweet soy was also really good! The wings were super crispy and each wing had a lot of meat. Bulgogi chicken waffle fries: 4/5, LOVE the sauce on these fries. For some reason when we got our fries they were a little cold. The overall dish would have tasted a lot better if the fries were piping hot. Hopefully next time! Overall, highly recommend getting a bunch of wings with different flavors. read more

Food 3/5. I ordered the chicken tenders, fried chicken wings, Bulgogi Chicken Fries, kimchi radish, kimchi fried rice and 5 sauces. I'm not sure about how much further I can elaborate on the sauces as they weren't labeled. The chicken tenders were tasty, not nothing out of the ordinary to me. The fried chicken wings felt similar to those from Publix which wasn't anything that stood out. The Bulgogi Chicken Fries were the best things. The chicken was tender and very flavorful, the fries were waffle and head up nicely to the sauces. The radish and fried rice were okay, nothing to great in my opinion. Service: 1/5. I entered and saw the computer screen where I ordered. It felt like pretty standard, which was interesting is the part where it asked for a tip and no one assisted you. The person from the front brought the meal and I inquired which sauces are which. She said I don't know, I should have labeled them and walked off. It kind of irritated me not knowing which was which when tasting them. Ambiance 4/5. It's a cool place, gives me a nice laid back vibe. It has a chicken theme with some puns and the chairs remind me of a farmhouse / barn style. There is ample seating for groups with tables of 4 and singles with 2. I'm not sure if I'd want to return, but it was something worth visiting because I was told to. read more

The location for this restaurant was great. I loved the dual restaurant concept with Chi-Kin and Side Chick in the same brick and mortar. I ordered 10 wings (half buffalo and half sweet Gochujang) and a bulgogi rice bowl. The best part of the meal was the sweet gochujang wings which were saucy, sticky, sweet, and crispy. Unfortunately that's where the good experience ended. The buffalo wings were soggy and barely warm and the rice bowl was below room temperature. The cheese on the rice bowl had congealed and the beef bulgogi was tasteless and dry. Aside from the glaring food errors the dining room was handled by one weary server on a Monday evening. I waited for almost 10 minutes before even being greeted and asked for a drink order. Ultimately, I was led to believe this place was THE spot for superior chicken wings. Maybe it was an off day for them, but the food industry is a performance business as well and you're only as good as your last performance. I hate that my experience went this way, but I've got other wing spots I can frequent. read more

I was in the mood for some hot chicken, and since the other hot chicken place was closed (it was Monday), I decided to try Chi-Kin on Mills. Parking was easy as it was like 11:30a on a Monday, and I arrived at the perfect time as a pretty large party showed up after I ordered. The sauces I had were flavorful, but I was disappointed with the freshness of the chicken tenders. Everything came out rather quickly and nothing was hot and fresh. It wasn't cold, but you could tell it wasn't made fresh. Maybe they get so busy they cook a bunch of food. The tenders were big so 3 was plenty, but it didn't have the crispy crunch that I've had at other chicken places. At 11:30am, I'm wondering how far in advance they cook their food. I wanted that crunch that's synonymous with Korean Fried Chicken! And that huge party that came after me, their food was being carried to their table very quickly after ordering. It's something you'd expect from McDonalds, but not a place that probably got big because of their crispy crunchy chicken. The Gochujang sauce was good but not spicy on it's own, but the Hot Gochujang was awesome and it delivered on heat and flavor. I'm glad I asked for a side of it as I may not have been able to eat all the chicken with that sauce. It was nice to dip and portion appropriately. There are a number of options and most people can probably find a sauce that suits them. The waffle fries suffered from the same level of freshness. I'm sure they'd be great right out of the fryer, but they were a bit stale on my visit. Bummer! Nothing like fresh, crispy fries. They DO have Vegan options, but nothing in the fried chicken category. I had a vegan "chicken" taco with kimchi and it was good. If they had some sort of vegan "chicken" tender with a choice of sauce, they'd be a clear winner for vegan options in Orlando (as long as it was freshly fried). I may stop back as the Vegan taco was good, but if I'm going to have a cheat day and eat some chicken, I'll venture elsewhere. There's a reason the alternative chicken tender location has a line around the building. read more

I came here during lunch for the first time. I ordered the gochujang bone in wings with the kimchi fries. I'm dying to go back! The wings were outstanding as were the kimchi fries. My least favorite part is the parking because I hate parallel parking, especially on busy roads, but it's definitely worth the trip. It was very clean inside and they even have a hand washing station for your convenience. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back. read more
Awesome wings. Took some time to prepare, but well worth it. Garlic Buffalo was great but the sweet gojujang flavor especially was incredibly complex with amazing smokiness. Also loved the bulgogi fries, but wish they were a little saucier and sloppy - I'm from Canada, so I love sloppy hot mess fries. Just as I was losing hope I'd find a place to live in Orlando (an earlier duck ramen experience elsewhere had disappointed), my faith was restored. I'll be back. read more
It is about 4.5 star to my review. Because is fast, simple, nice, taste good. This is a restaurant do well on simple concept. Definitely is a good find for the location. It is close to Matcha Tea House. If you visit the the Chi-kin then matcha, you will get 15% off on matcha by using the Chi-kin receipt where they t print 15% off. It is a treat to have both in one trip. We got the lunch special with 5 wings and Fries with drinks for $10. The fries is waffle fries and they did a good job. The wing with choice of sauce which we got the sweet gochujang sauce. It is very good. Wing was will fried. Food is good. Place is clean. read more
My family wanted me to take them to a local spot that I adore for lunch, so I picked Chi-Kin and it did not disappoint! They had an incredible combo of 4 tenders, 8 wings, and 2 sides. It was great sampler for everyone try what they had to offer. We added a side of their bulgogi beef fries along with 4 fountain drinks. Can you believe that came out to just of $35 dollars for all of that?! You cannot beat a deal like that when feeding a family of four adults for a meal out. We got our tenders in the sweet gochujang sauce - it is the prefect combo of a little kick when you first take a bit and a delicious sweet sauce after you take your second. I got my hand on one wing before my family devoured the rest. The sweet soy was an awesome sauce for those. The bulgogi fries were fantastic! The flavors blended well and the fries stayed crispy under their toppings. I want to try their kimchi fries next time I return. We got the kimchi as one of our sides and it was very good so I believe it will really compliment their fries. It was Mother's Day when we were dining and the restaurant was so kind and sweet to offer us a free order of their fried d'ohboy as a treat for my mom. As a Covid Plus, the staff was great about wearing masks and the tables were well separated. I've been to Chi-Kin a couple of times and the fact that I've returned should indicate that this place is pretty darn tasty. For the records I do NOT like chicken BUT if it's really, really good I'll partake. Every time I've gone the chicken has been cooked consistently. I wish it were a little more tender but it isn't dry. I like the chicken tenders (I detest wings) but since my boyfriend likes wings we went for Combo 1 which came with 8 wings, 4 tenders and 2 sides of your choice. You can choose 2 each sauces for the wings and tenders. We decided on the sweet gojuchang (a Korean spicy red pepper sauce) and sweet chili sauce for the tenders and the Yuzu lemon pepper and sweet soy sauce for the wings. I didn't really eat the wings and stuck tk the tenders. Between the two sauces I chose I liked the sweet gojuchang sauce more. It was only mildly spicy to me but if you really don't like heat then I wouldn't get it. We decided on the bulgogi (Korean sweet marinated beef) fries and white rice as our sides (Asians need rice with their meat lolz). Both were good. Note that getting bulgogi on our fries equated to a 2 dollar up charge. My boyfriend thought the fries weren't anything special but the sauce and beef on it made them better and more interesting. The meal was just right for the two of us and we couldn't even finish all our food. Seating in this place is ample and good for larger parties of 4-6 people. I It was early afternoon when we went and there were plenty of seats available. This is a casual dining establishment. If you wanted to dress up you might look a little out of place but you could swing it if you're brave. Lots of other people have already endorsed this so it's already well established and would be a great place to try if you're a chicken/American Korean food lover! Insider tips: parking is limited so you'll have to look for street parking. It's directly connected to the matcha place next door. That's super convenient. Finger Li-Kin Madafa-Kin, Delicious Korean Fried Chi-Kin resides here. FUN FACT: Korean fried chicken is usually called "chikin" in Korea, which is a process where their chicken is fried twice, giving it a very crispy skin. So with the other places I've been to that serves Korean Fried Chicken, I have noticed they only serve a couple of flavors. Well, not at this place. 8 different flavors yall. Chi-Kin is not playing around. And the ones I have tried (Sweet Soy, Spicy Honey, Yuzu Lemon Pepper, Buffalo Garlic) were all outstanding; full of flavors. I typically peel the chicken skin off when I eat my chicken wings, for health reasons and to prevent my hips from further expanding. Well, not at this place. I ate those wings like there was no tomorrow, as if I was ready to meet God that same day. I showed no mercy on them wangs. And oh, I love what they have done to their fries. Their Beef Bulgogi Fries...Oh-Mer-Gawd...Bomb...Delicious. Talk about inhaling some fries with fury. Nom nom nom. I highly recommend this place. Great food, inexpensive, friendly, funny staff, cool 'chick'ady vibe. As an added bonus, a soft serve ice cream shop called Matcha House Tea and Creamery, is right next door to them, which can be conveniently accessed through their back room hallway and viola, you are there. Finally made it to Chi-Kin in the Mills 50 district. I absolutely love Korean cuisine and Korean chicken wings to be exact, so I was pretty excited to finally have made it here to taste them. The chicken wings are super fresh and delicious, lots of great spice and they came out super hot! I will say I was kinda sad to see online this basket with a side but when we arrived the side was 7$ extra which was kinda a bust. We ordered the wings alone and got the side white rice for 3$ I would have liked to see the basket be a meal for one price then it be 14$ + 7$ for drink and side. I will say that the ambience did lack for me, you could tell that this wasn't a "new " restaurant and that it has been around for awhile with a creaky door when you entered, not to mention the poor lighting, (we sat near the window) so it wouldn't feel like we were eating in a dungeon lol, we also didn't really enjoy seeing a sink just in the middle of their dining room or their open storage room with piled high boxes. I definitely think that with the food being so delicious the restaurant it's self need some TLC. When you walked in they had most of the employees here working and cooking food, so I guess if your a introvert and don't like talking to people you'll enjoy their self order station, honestly i probably would have rather spoke to a employee to get a better feel for the vibe and service. But honestly, if you're looking for great Korean wings and don't care for all the extras I would recommend ordering here. Or even maybe order them and head down to lake eola to enjoy, I know next time I'm looking for a Korean fix I'll do that! read more

From the time they have been opened, Chi-Kin consistently delivers amazing food. Their bulgogi is flavorful and juicy. I think about it all the time! The fries are an absolute must every time. I love the street tacos (with cilantro and onion) but if you like kimchi, go for the house tacos. The wings are crispy and juicy. Staff is always patient, kind and well organized. read more

This place was really interesting. We got a lot more items than pictured below. I was hoping it would be different than your typical fried chicken but it honestly wasn't. Was just like normal fried chicken. I liked the idea of all these different flavors. We tried all of them. I had higher hopes for the gochujang flavor. I felt like it could of had more flavor. In fact, I wished all the flavors had more flavor. We also got the beef bulgogi fries but you can't let them sit, you have to eat them immediately before the fries and beef get hard. All in all I don't think I would come here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone I know. The location is nice, the decor is nice, the staff were really friendly and the food came out relatively fast. read more

We stopped in to have lunch here to celebrate my birthday. It was a Tuesday afternoon so it wasn't crowded and I was pleased to see there was plenty of room to social distance, staff and patrons wear masks, and everything was nice and clean (during COVID-19.) They also have a hand washing station set up in the dining area which is super convenient. All of the staff members we encountered were friendly and the wait time to receive our order was short. I chose to try the Chi-kin Sammie with waffle fries and my boyfriend got chicken tenders with spicy honey sauce. We also got a side of Mac and cheese and a side of cheese corn. The sandwich is big with two large chicken tenders, spicy aioli, and pickles. The chicken was crispy on the outside and nice and juicy on the inside. I loved the spicy aioli and would ask for extra next time since they went kind of light on it, but it gave me the opportunity to try the pure chicken which is delicious. I tried my boyfriend's tenders and enjoyed the spicy honey sauce on those. The waffle fries were hot and crispy and we also loved the cheese corn. The mac and cheese was more on the average side for me, but still pretty tasty. I'd likely opt for a different side next time. I ended up with leftovers to take home which I look forward to enjoying! Overall, this is a great chicken spot! I'm not familiar with Korean fried chicken so I can't speak for its authenticity, but I think it's darn delicious and will certainly return. read more
TL;DR: 5 stars for the chicken +1 star for the sauce selection -1 star for the fries. Y'all know I'm the Fry Snob. This was some amazingly good chicken! What sets this Korean fried chicken (KFC, no not that KFC) restaurant apart is the selection of sauces. Most KFC places only have one, maybe two sauce flavors. Chi-Kin has six! We loved the Spicy Honey and Sweet Soy, and are excited to try the others. Keep in mind that these are NOT jumbo wings by any means, but the execution more than makes up for it! The fries were disappointing. They were hard. You gotta do better than that for $3.50. That's the cost of three more wings, son! Fries aside, I'm excited to come back here soon. read more

We came in around 2pm on a Sunday (Valentine's day) and it was moderately busy. Parking was easy and there were a fair amount of open tables. You start out by ordering at the counter, are given a number and food is brought out to you. There's also a hand washing station towards the back. We ordered the Buffalo garlic and sweet soy wing lunches, bulgogi fries and cheese corn. The cheese corn was good, but it's liquid cheese rather than melted real cheese... Just something to note. The sweet soy wings were delicious and rival bonchon, and my husband loved his Buffalo garlic wings. They both were perfectly saucy but still crunchy as you would expect from Korean fried chicken. The bulgogi fries were also good. A little on the salty side, so some added chopped kimchi would have been nice, but that's just my personal preference. I do want to note that you are able to upgrade your lunch fries to bulgogi fries. This was our fault for not realizing/reading the menu better, but we ended up with 3 orders of fries with our meal. You can also opt for rice instead of fries too. It would have been nice for the cashier to make the suggestion, but ultimately it's our fault because it is listed on the menu. We were just trying to quickly order because it's sometimes awkward when you're reading the menu and they're just standing there waiting to take your order. Now we just know for next time! read more

The chicken sandwich segment is a tough one to break in, so what makes Chi-Kin a different place than the one offering a combo (sandwich/side/drink) for less money? Well, I think that besides portion and better product, it comes down to add-ons, desserts and sides. Having the possibility to try different sauces is one thing that makes them different, as well as the option to have kimchi with your sandwich. Also, Chi-Kin offers desserts, maybe just as a filler on the menu, but a pretty tasty item on the menu. This is an unpretentious place that offers possibilities to their customers. And I like that. I came in and got a chicken sandwich, original, no sauce, a side of fries, a side of kimchi, and the fried dough with condensed milk. And I ate it all. I was really hungry, skipped lunch or something, just to be able to have the full experience. The sandwich is cooked perfectly, although I do not recommend a sauce-less/original sandwich because it is too dry. If you are not sure about a sauce, get it on the side. On the other hand, two chicken breasts pack this sandwich, so I would call this sandwich shareable. Fries are straightforward, kimchi is made in house and it is not deadly spicy as I was expecting or hoping, but it is still good (*there are other Korean restos with amazing kimchi). And the fried dough is really good, that alone brings me back. The space is really cool and ample, parking is a pain, you have to wait a while for your food, tables are clean and people are social distanced. I like this place Chi-Kin. read more

Ate at Chi-Kin for an early dinner. We were seated right away and our server was really attentive. I wish she had explained a bit more about the menu, but overall we were very pleased with how quick everything came out. The beef bulgogi was our favorite dinner item, but the beef was honestly a bit tough. We liked the gochugang sauce on the wings a lot but really didn't like the lemon pepper dry rub. The Thai chili sauce was okay and we liked the ChiKin sauce well enough. The corn was definitely reheated, it was definitely not fresh. Next time I would try rice instead of corn. We loved the Doh-boys though!!! They were honestly the saving grace here, we forgot all about what we didn't like once we bit into these. Overall, a good experience, and now we know what we like and would order in the future. read more

Oh Yuzu Lemon Pepper Wings how you haunt my dreams calling me back to Orlando. Seriously hot wings, lemon yuzu wings and kimchee fries are what's pictured. The second time we just doubled down and went lemon yuzu only! The staff is always friendly and the place is very clean. There's even a basin sink right in the dining room cause these wings are some gooooood finger foods, but you will want to clean up after! Pro tip...the Asian supermarket directly across the street is a must stop for goodies before you leave this area. Every kind of packaged ramen known to man is there plus other yums! read more

I was out trying to find a lunch spot after I had no luck with my original plan. I drove by Chi-Kin and knew I had to turn around - I'm glad I did. Parking is limited to street and some on the side of the business. When you walk in you are greeted by an open dining and ordering area. I placed my order and waited the 15-20 minutes. Once home I dug in. The sweet soy was very flavorful and paired really well with the rice side I ordered. It's got a nice crunch to the outside. I popped in on a weekend for lunch with my husband. We both are on a chicken wing kick, so we're taking an opportunity to try out a place with wings on the menu. While they do have lunch specials, we decided to take advantage of one of their combo meals - if you're going with another person or a couple of people, you may want to consider doing this because you get a lot food and it doesn't end up being too expensive. In our combo we got eight wings (which we could choose two sauces), four tenders (also could choose two sauces), and two sides. For the wings we went with the sweet soy which was nice and the hot gochujang which was spicy, but not crazy. For the tenders, we went with the Buffalo Garlic which had a nice spice to it and the Yuzu Lemon Pepper dry rub. The wings and tenders had a nice crispy crunch to them when you bite in. For the sides, we went with the bulgogi beef waffle fries and the mac and cheese. The waffle fries were AH-mazing! I could seriously eat that on its own as a meal! I would highly recommend the fries! The mac and cheese was probably my least favorite part of the meal, but it had a lot of big hitters to contend with. I visited during COVID times and dined in. I felt very safe throughout my visit. The staff were wearing masks as were customers who weren't eating. I also really liked that there was a handwashing station in the dining room. I'm not sure if that was part of the original decor plan, but it was really nice to be able to wash my hands before my meal and then again afterward because of all of the saucy goodness from the wings. read more

Legit. And hold on to your hats kids, you can even eat here if you're vegetarian/vegan too, Mmhmmm, yup. I met up with a few friends on Saturday for a meal. Everyone was wearing a mask, the place was clean, when it was my turn to order though the internet went down and they couldn't get their credit card machine going but I was impressed with how professionally they handled everything. They still got my order going and asked that I come back and pay later- which I did. I think what impressed me the most was how flavorful everything tasted BUT was also reasonably priced. A friend of mine had the wings and he says it's probably one of the best fried chicken wings he's had in all the years he's lived in Florida. We got to talking to someone who works there and they explained to us that there's a lot of thought and preparation to making the chicken. Seasoning it, making sure it has enough time to gather flavor and then the oil temperature when frying so that it doesn't burn (or stay pink inside) and it made me realize it's not an easy job making tasty chicken for the masses but it sounds like they figured it out. There's two meatless options here. You can have a vegan chicken sandwich or a vegan bowl, and I personally enjoyed the bowl better but both were good. If they were able to come up with a vegan fried chicken I think my brain would explode, or I'd go broke cause I'd probably be there all the time. My new favorite restaurant in the mills district (near downtown orlando). They have fast and delicious food. Easy pickup through the Uber eats app, their website or just a phone call away. They do have more options for variety other tab just chicken wings. It seems their menu is constantly growing. My absolute favorite items are: kimchi fries, bimbim-bowl, wings or chicken with their -yuzu lemon pepper- -.. to DIE FOR!! They also are not stingy about their sauce.. EXTRAAA sauce all over the wings/ chicken. My ONLY problem item.. their "poutine" fries are a NO NOOOOO. The ~gravy~ they have, is something I would recommend avoiding.. please fix!! Love this spot! The bulgogi fries are such a great price for the massive portion, and the gooey sauce on them looks like cheese but is actually a tangy spicy mayo, which is still delicious but worth mentioning in case someone is thrown off expecting cheese fries. I love wings, but this was different! The wings were a great size and the sauce was soooooo good! It was the right amount of sweetness. Every bite was better than the last. The food came out in 5 minutes and it was cooked to perfection. The place was so cute! I definitely want to go back and try the different sides and sauces. It's a bit pricey but with the fast service and new taste it's definitely worth it! I'll be back, and next time I'm bring my whole family! I need that kimchi in my life read more

So delicious!!! I used to live in orlando and we are back for the weekend and this was our first stop. Their chicken is super crispy with delicious flavors and options. Spacious dining area, always clean! Nice team of people. Only downside is that they used to have waffle fries but these were still just as delicious. Highly recommend!! read more
Located on Mills, Chi-Kin has a lot of competition, but serves as one of the few spots in Orlando that serves KFC. My review only covers their takeout service, which was quick and friendly. I called ahead to order 20 wings and fries; to my surprise, we were allowed to choose four flavors. I chose sweet soy, gochujang, thai chili, and lemon pepper. The wings are decently sized, but still cost over $1 per wing, and the flavors are intense. Towards the latter half of our meal, we were trying to scrape off the excess sauce; it was too salty overall. The lemon pepper was a dry-sauce, but there was a prevalent buttery-oil taste. Of the four, my favorite was the thai chili. Thankfully, the wings were really crispy, even after sitting in a takeout box for ~30 minutes. I would pass on their fries; even though they are waffle fries, they weren't crispy/satisfying like some fast food restaurants. When we picked up our order, we also noticed a better deal of wings, tenders, and sides, that was not listed on their pictures or website. Next time, I would still like to go back and dine-in for a better experience! read more

Street but there's always a spot. People come pick up and leave constantly.
Are there gluten free items? Or the ability to modify to be gluten free?
Hi Mary, we can modify the chicken without any gluten in the batter but it’s still cooked in the same oil as the gluten products.
