Found this food truck hanging around at the Goblin Market at the Oviedo Mall. The menu looked good, so I decided to patron them. Service was good. Very friendly people who helped me decide what to order. The food took a good long while to come out, so be prepared, but I don't mind that. Shows me that the food was made to order and not just sitting in some hot box. I got the Cambodian Wagyu Katsu Sando (Kroueng Battered Australian Wagyu, Jeow Som Pickled Cabbage, Black Garlic Aioli, Scallions, & Fried Shallots on Brioche). It was Delicious. A juicy, tender beef katsu, nice acid from the pickled cabbage, amazing depth from the aioli, and really awesome texture added on by the fried shallots. This was a great sandwich. I hope I run into this food truck again, so I can try more stuff.

Pros: This food truck was at the Goblin Market over here near me at the Oviedo Mall. I'm glad that this truck would support an event such as the Goblin Market. Service was nice. The sandwich didn't come out very timely, but that's actually ok, because that means it was all made fresh, which I like. The sandwich itself was great! Packed with protein, and covered with plenty of fresh veg and texture from fried onions. Cons: No real cons. A nice place. Tips: Get the Cambodian Wagyu Katsu Sando. It was very very good.

I dream of this chicken sandwich. It is so good I don't even know how to describe it. The food is fresh and the service is fast! Everyone working is always very kind. I highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this food truck in the parking lot of Lotte's Plaza. I was immediately intrigued by the menu. I mean, a Cambodian Wagyu Katsu Sando? Sounds delish! Since I was planning on eating in the store already, I actually only ordered one thing, which was the Crispy Duck Roti ($18). This was kind of like a duck taco, containing duck breast, house curry sauce, and accompaniments. Honestly, it was the perfect dish that felt built for me (if you knew my taste buds)! I ate it so fast LOL. Although it felt a little pricey... for a small business and a food truck, I understood the cost. Actually, good to note was that one of the workers (I think perhaps an owner) came up to us afterwards and asked how it was and thanked us for coming. That was a kind gesture. I will definitely be a repeat customer if I see these guys again.

Oh wow wow wow. You will never have a better Cambodian Karachi Wagyu beef sandwich in your life. Best best food truck with Cambodian style food. Owners are so super nice and very welcoming.

OG Fried Chicken Sando

Had the OG fried chicken sando. It was made fresh waited about 5 minutes. It was Amazing! One of the best chicken sandwiches I have ever eaten. It was a very nice portion for $15. Worth every penny. The chicken was hot and crispy, and loved the veggies. A flavor bomb in your mouth. Will visit them again.

Cambodian fried sando Two battered thigh chicken, pickled cabbage, black garlic aioli, on brioche. Moist, delicious, flavorful, not spicy.

The only downside I have to say about today is because they have a baby shower and every table on the inside is being taken up by this 50% baby shower along with half of the tables outside and I don't wanna listen to their baby shower or any other people with their children I just wanted to sit for a drink and they have taken over like three of the tables with the umbrellas and I know it's not à la carte's fault but it's really I will not be getting any food today, but I did take a sip margaritas, sparkling coconut margarita to go because I would like to try it later. If you haven't been here at this place is honestly great however, right now there's a little bit lack of parking due to the very large baby shower party inside; I'm not sure if you can park at the parking lot across the street because they do have towing signs, but it is a really nice location when you can find a place to sit.

We went to Ivanhoe Park Brewing specifically to try out this truck and we're so pleasantly surprised by the casual, charming and inclusive brewery. But the Simmer Down food was the highlight! Service was friendly and they have a pager system so you can grab a beer while you wait for your food. The smash burger on brioche was one of the top five burgers in Orlando for sure. The taco was really next level good. And the churro was sweet and delicious. Only reason I can't give them 5 stars is the fries were soggy and not my favorite. Flavor was good, and they were nice and salty... but just too wet and limp. That said, everything else was amazing and we will be back!

I landed on ordering the Beatty's Blue's Smash Burger and upgraded to truffle fries (go big or go home!). Everything was fantastic and memorable, even a week or so later writing this review! The burger was perfectly cooked, the toppings were on point, and the fries were decadent and jam packed with truffle flavor. 10/10 food without question. What made it even better? The personable, stellar service. In an area saturated by food trucks, Simmer Down is a stand out. If you are lucky enough to run into or visit Simmer Down, at the bare minimum, get the truffle fries!

Everything is made fresh, including the unbelievably fluffy pitas that taste like they came straight out of someone's home kitchen. The chicken schnitzel was perfect for the kids, but the falafel was the star for me, crispy on the outside, full of flavor on the inside. The hummus was another standout: perfectly creamy with that rich tahini flavor that makes you want to scoop up every last bit. This is a food truck with limited seating, and it was very busy on a Sunday afternoon, but honestly, it was worth every minute. Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. It's a gem.

There also seemed to be no set schedule but there always seemed to be a line and finally after searching around and seeing all the amazing reviews we tried it. I was impressed! Is it cheap? No, but is any food these days? The fresh homemade pita was like an edible fluffy pillow and the shawarma was delicious! We also really enjoyed the cucumber & tomato salad. I appreciated the chicken schnitzel that my son had was very flavorful and not your dry bland chicken strips that many kids chicken fingers orders often are. I would like to try other hummus on the menu. I ordered the regular and it was good, but not as good as I had hoped for a place called the Hummus Guy. I love hummus but also I am no expert by any means, so try it yourself and let me know if I am off base. I recommend trying and hope to see the Hummus Guy in Maitland for a long time!

We super over ordered each getting a burger and a gourmet fry but I wouldn't regret it just to try it now and know for the future. I enjoyed my taco fries immensely. I swapped the side of sour cream for ranch (I am still that Midwesterner at heart) and ended up not using it at all, the cheesy nacho sauce with the taco meat and tomatoes is a great combination to throw on some delicious freshly fried fries. I thoroughly enjoyed it but I do LOVE nacho cheese. My husband's fry of choice was the Japanese steakhouse fries. Melted cheese, mushrooms, peppers and thinly sliced steak served with a drizzle of the white/yum yum/shrimp sauce you see at hibachi places combined for a scrumptious combination. My husband could not put it down, he likely would've asked for a side of the sauce because he's a huge fan of it. The burgers were good but I didn't eat mine because I was too engrossed in my fries but my husband finished it for me. Everything was a little pricey but I know with food trucks that's a reality. Would definitely eat there again and likely just stick to a fry order or a burger not both. Side note they accept cards and you should probably go to their website to see where they are currently parked :)
