I've been a big fan of Irregular Smash since they set up shop for a good run of time right outside of Ivanhoe Brewery. While I was a little slow to hop on the Smash Burger bandwagon, I am so glad I finally caught up, because wow! And Irregular Smash has really cornered the market on their smash burger selections. With them setting shop just outside the Ivanhoe Brewery parking lot, the owners got to know quite a few of us because our social tennis league (Tennis on Tap) would meet every Tuesday evening for our seasonal matches. This meant we were no strangers at Irregular Smash. By the time they left, which was a couple of months ago now, my teammates and I had tried nearly everything on their menu, and not one thing we tried was bad. The quality of food their team provided was exceptional. Everything tasted amazing. They were awesome and always just fun and supportive of our tennis trials and tribulations. I also loved that they got to learn our names, too. Made the experience of patronizing their business even more special. Price points were reasonable as well. If you don't eat meat, they also offer an Impossible Smash Burger option - great for the vegan folks (like my mom)! I was a regular patron of their OG Smash and Truffle Attack Fries. I am definitely sad to see them leave the parking lot of Ivanhoe Brewery, but I am happy to know they will be coordinating pop-ups all throughout the Orlando and surrounding areas in the coming days. I look forward to seeing how they grow, and maybe one day they will have their own brick-and-mortar. Irregular Smash is the resident food truck at Ivanhoe Brewing. What better combination is there than craft beer and a smash burger?! We did take our food to-go but enjoyed a beer from the brewery while we waited for our food. The staff at Irregular Smash were so kind and had me smiling through our whole process of ordering. Genuinely some really nice people work there! The burgers were SO DANG GOOD. I would absolutely come back here, but I think I would rather eat there because the whole area is a vibe. The Firestarter is a bit spicy so just be aware of that when you order. The Truffle Freak was my absolute favorite!! I am a sl*t for anything that has truffle in it, and their truffle aioli is FANTASTIC. My only piece of advice when visiting here would be to check the events happening at the brewery before going. Sometimes there are markets or events occurring that limit the parking. The events also usually add to the fun environment though! read more

THIS WAS DAMN GOOD! This burger was so good I went back the following day to make sure I wasn't exaggerating. The burger and truffle fries are superb. I got the 'outcast' and the 'truff attack' the fries were pretty much perfect, the truffle was not overpowering and there was the right amount of cheese, now this burger *chefs kiss, flavorful, balanced and complexly delicious. The right amount of cheese and crunch and a moist brioche bun. The service was amazing, some how during my wait I opened up about some up coming event I was going to be apart of. The cashier remembered me the following day and was funny and charismatic during both encounters. This food truck was established by a couple of influencers. They move from down south to Orlando with one thing in mind. Make the best smash burger. And so far they are not far from wrong. Irregular Smash is located right outside Ivanhoe Park Brewery. This is a perfect fit. The food truck allows both parties traffic to feed off each other and boy they work it. The smash burger is thin to the teeth, almost as thin as a paper. It ends crispy and full of flavor. Their choices of cheeses is superb. The fries have their own sauce and they do an amazing job at caramelizing the onions. They also have tequeños and churros available. Brandon and Jorge are the owners. They treated us like family. They're exceptional! This is our family's favorite smash burger spot, and we can't praise them enough for their delicious smash burgers and sides. Each of us has a favorite, so I highly recommend multiple visits so you can try them all and find your favorite. They also offer a plant based burger! Their sides are just as delicious. Service was friendly. The smash burger was good. They ran out of crispy onions so that was a bummer. The burger itself was not dry like some smashed burger places. We got the Outcast and the OG Smash burgers. Both were packed with flavor and the slight crisp on the burger patties was great. The portion sizes are rather large for a smash burgers, so you def better be ready to eat. We also got "The Beast" fries. I'd say this is a 4.5, but alas, that still isn't an option. Ordered the Firestarter and a side of fries. The fries were for sure a 5 out of 5. I don't know what the little extra crispy bits were mixed in, but they added to the texture really nicely. Seasoning was great, and just overall, excellent. The Firestarter was good. It probably would have gone up without the hot honey. The sweet came in a little stronger than I would have liked. The burger patty itself was a typical smash burger, bun was good consistency. Definitely a messy/greasy burger. That's not a bad thing, just worth noting. Overall, a good experience. We had the chance to try Irregular Smash food truck during a visit to Ivanhoe Park Brewing. The owner was so friendly, and the food was really great. We tried the OG Smash Burger and The Beast, which is essentially loaded fries on steroids. The burger was huge, with a double smashed patties, pickles, cheese and a special sauce. The Beast is basically loaded fries meets deconstructed smash burger and is a guilty pleasure meal that we genuinely enjoyed. CALLING ALL OF ORLANDO ‼ We need to support businesses such as Irregular Smash, this place is a burger lover's/foodie's dream come true. Walked up shortly after their opening hours on a quiet Wednesday early evening, and were greeted right away. I think Brandon took the order, his customer service and attentiveness was outstanding. After he took my order, my husband joined us to take a look at the menu, but Brandon blew him away with his immediate recommendation. It's like he reads people, like he knows what you'll like without even knowing you. We took his advice of course, my husband ordered the firestarter, me the outcast and we shared truffle fries. Our food came out quickly, and we were blown out of the water by the burgers. The attention to detail was by far commendable. This was the crispiest burger I've ever had, and they even let you make modifications without an up charge, for example, adding pickles. It was juicy, it was crunchy, it was everything you'd want in a perfect burger. The fries were the perfect addition and the truffle sauce was sooooo delish. Being from New York I have a bias towards smash burgers, I care only for burgers with Martin potato buns. When I saw that the bun was brioche I assumed it would be underwhelming......I have never tasted a burger and thought to myself "this taste like a krabby patty" despite never visiting bikini bottom, I can gaurentee this is what plankton was trying to steal. The og is what I got, I also got the truffle burger. The truffle flavor is overpowered by the mayo and the egg , I would try using a cream base for the sauce instead. Its more of a wet mayo burger.
