I only ordered a sesame chicken combo plate (which comes with pork fried rice, a soup, and eggroll). I thought the sesame chicken was really delicious, moist, and flavorful! It was definitely the highlight of my meal. The pork fried rice was okay; it was just the yellow rice and pork, there weren't any vegetables, not even onions. That was a bit of a bummer, but the egg drop soup was perfect on a cold night and super soothing. The eggroll how ever seemed to be more of the fried wrapping and no meat, just vegetable which isn't typical from a Chinese restaurant from my experience. Overall, I'm enjoying the food and there's definitely more than enough for one person with one combo plate. That being said I did order this from door dash and it was about $14. I would give this place a go again!

Tonight we ordered Chinese for pick up. We ordered orange chicken, pork fried rice, and house lo mein. The food is delicious. They arranged the lobby to keep social distance between customers and staff.

This is our go-to for Chinese takeout. It is 5 miles away from where we live so its easy to call and order or even drop in for takeout. It is in the same plaza as Goodwill and BJs off of Lake Underhill near Waterford Lakes. We stopped by here after a shopping trip. We parked and ordered takeout- I got Orange Chicken with Lo Mein(extra cost) and egg drop soup-- my husband got Kung Pao with fried rice and wonton soup. There is SO much food. I eat a lot and I was able to eat dinner and then TWO more meals for leftovers. What I love: - Parking is easy- lots of available spots - quick service - sauce is never extra(even if you request extra of the sauce they make) - friendly employees - how they pack the takeout (never spills in my car!) What left more to be desired: - the chicken quality... I'm REALLY picky about chicken, and this just doesn't make the cut(gristle, tough, odd looking when cut into) - the size of the dine in area- we almost ALWAYS take it to go, because there is only a few tables inside I feel like the chicken quality at most Chinese places is about the same. The orange chicken sauce is so delicious-- I could order just the noodles with that sauce and be happy-- I might try that next time.

Most impressive was the stir fry noodles which actually were cooked perfectly. Not slobbered with sauce. Not gloopy. They were almost dry as the sauce was absorbed into the noodles as it should be. The restaurant was nicely decorated, much nicer than most of the casual Japanese restaurants that we have recently visited including some in the fancy parts of Winter Park. Nomi has quality chairs and booths! Too many casual food places use these cheap aluminum chairs, not this place, Nomi has first rate chairs. You know it matters, if you're spending hard earned money you shouldn't have to eat on picnic table like furniture. Well, at least I think so... The food selections allow for budget conscious people like me, plus there are other items on the menu if you're looking to splurge, which I bet are amazing. We had a mix of appetizers, shrimp tempura and sushi rolls -everything was great! The place is located in East Orlando at the end of 408, just off E. colonial. There is usually only minimal traffic in this area, and Nomi had plenty of parking out front. We all agreed, Nomi will be our go to place for casual Japanese dinners.

I actually discovered this spot on TikTok and decided to check it out. When I arrived, I ordered the chicken broth pho with two proteins chicken and beef plus a side of spring rolls. I sat down to wait, and my food came out in about two minutes, which was impressive. The restaurant wasn't busy when I arrived, so I was able to enjoy a table to myself, though it did start filling up shortly after. I started with the spring rolls, and they were freshly fried and delicious not sitting out at all. Then came the soup, which was so good. I really liked that they have a herb bar, where you can customize your pho with herbs, bean sprouts, hot sauce, and other toppings. Once I adjusted everything to my preferred heat level, the soup was perfect and very flavorful. As for the ambience, it's a small location but clean and well maintained. The staff was attentive, quick to clean tables as soon as guests left, and helpful when explaining anything I needed to know. Will I return? Absolutely. Next time, I'll try a different protein and likely switch to the beef broth instead of chicken. Overall, this location gets a 5 out of 5 from me. Everything was really good, and I'll definitely be back!

The 5X Spicy chicken was pretty spicy and the sauce was good. The chicken was a mixed bag though, some was tender and some was tough. Same with the Tokyo chicken. It was packed over the rice, so if you like your rice plain for leftovers, maybe order a side. The sides available are not your typical asian sides. We tried the cucumber salad (good with nice spice), glass noodles, tomato and egg, and the cabbage. They were OK, but nothing earth shattering. The cucumber salad is cold, and when packed with the rest of the piping hot food, was actually kind of gross. Warm Cucumbers? No thanks. I guess the most telling part was the leftovers in the fridge. They sat until garbage night as they just seemed unappealing to eat again, which isn't typical of leftover asian food in the fridge. They have some other items that look appealing, so it may be worth another try.
