Local landmark and for good reason--nice, honest person who does very good repairs on lawnmowers at fair prices.

Great store. Every time I visit I encounter the best customer service. In addition to selling products, they also repair lawnmowers.

They have every part. Gadgets and tool possibly available. Better than the big box store the staff are incredibly kind and helpful and will walk around and help you find what you need. I ordered furniture that had to be assembled and there were not the correct number of screws so I rushed in flustered and they ease my stress and found the exact right pieces to help me finish the project. They always ask if you need anything else. I tried to build a play set for my grandchild and vey sport but I mistakenly got a wrong piece stuck and could not get it out I rushed over again almost crying and asked what could I do? They very patiently and kindly were able to take apart and asked if I had brought the screws with me they were going to attach the pieces properly for me I am forever grateful for their guidance on paint selections, finishes. Accessories needed to complete the project. Over the years I have gone on knowing what needed, or mostly knew what I wanted to do but not what I needed to eat it done and they guided me on how to hand heavy mirrors and shelving. Repair or patch wood finishes that have been damaged. Adding the kindness, patience and care they show every customer, I am genuinely grateful for a local small business.Honestly the prices compare to big box stores where it's sometimes hard to find what you need and you certainly will not get the care and attention you receive here. It is worth it even for I've small item. Stop by and say hi! Let me add they cut keys as it is getting harder to find anyone that still does this! Thanks for not giving into the big box stores and chain retail stores. Great place to shop, get advice and coaching with great customer service.

I mean not too many but better than HD . I was able to get what I wanted . Lots of parking outside .z service was really good in this location. The guy was with us almost for 15 minutes and answered all questions we had... he was very patient and knowledgeable.. not sure what his name was but he was in the hardwood / vinyl section. Good experience overall.

I placed mine around 10-10:30 AM. By 7:10 PM, the tracking still showed "preparing order," and although the virtual assistant eventually connected me to the Union store, the phone rang for 15 minutes with no answer. The next morning, I called again and learned the order was just sitting there because no driver accepted the delivery. The associate stated Lowe's uses an Uber‑style system for same-day large building materials as well, which makes no sense. I offered to send a representative to pick up the order myself but was then told the entire order had been switched to the Paterson store because one item wasn't in stock. No notice, no communication. Paterson is too far, so I canceled everything. A second order for cabinet hardware was also mishandled. Cabinet hinges were sent to a Staten Island lockbox, and the cabinet handles were canceled because they weren't actually in stock. The website should clearly show "out of stock" or "not available at this location." The website, ordering system, logistics, and tracking are all poorly structured. Shoppers beware. I will be placing my order with Home Depot instead.

The lady that helped me was very kind and told me to come back if it was wrong, I went today 10/21/26; paint was returned no problem. When the return was final I asked the lady at customer service if she would want me to bring the paint over to the paint center since I was going there anyway to pick up the correct shade. The man behind the paint counter immediately started ranting about how I can't return paint because I'm taking money from Home Depot and from the "big guys". He was very concerned about his upper management losing money. In fact, he wouldn't stop ranting about how it should have never been returned in the first place. I tried to tell him that he keeps telling me about his work problems and not helping me as a customer. He would not help me continue forward in buying the correct paint, so I left. So let it be known, it was his fault that the "big guys" lost money today, because my return was done and money in my pocket. If he helped me get the correct shade his department would be even and not negative.
