I expected it to be expensive (a different company quoted me a lot), and these guys quoted me for both the pea gravel and the mulch with delivery less than I would have paid for just the mulch being delivered. It's MUCH better mulch, the pea gravel is really nice, and I was a pain in the ass and changed my order twice because as I dug out my patio area, the size changed. The man I spoke with when I stopped by to look at product even suggested I get some less expensive flagstones elsewhere since I'm painting them instead of paying premium for natural stone with them. I mean, wow. Really doesn't try to oversell you which is a great change from other places I tried. He even told me because of my soil I didn't really need to spend the money on packing material for the base because I was making a pea gravel not flagstone patio. They delivered it to my driveway, and expertly maneuvered between the houses with no issue. Total professionals. The product is really good, and they were generous. I have almost too much mulch, now, so I may tear out all the dang weeds on the side of the house and mulch that entire strip so I don't have as much work in the summer. Thanks, guys! That first contact in their facility was not very professional, the office was disorganized and it felt like a reunion of good old boys, whose humor doesn't really resonate with everyone, rather than a professional place for business. But all of that was erased and the some, by the flexibility, professional follow-through, attention to details, timely drop off and pick up of materials, respect for my property from the delivery guys, and perks that they threw in the deal along the way. As I waited in the lobby with my son, the owner comes back to me and says we have a problem. He proceeds to take us back into the back area and he shows me that the shaft was stripped when he tried to takeoff the nut to pull off the blade. I looked at it and I tried not to be angry in front of my son. But I was annoyed on the inside. The problem that I have with this individual or establishment of business is that there was no accountability for what was done to my lawnmower. The owner apologized and told me he was the one that worked on it and that it was nothing that he could do to rectify the situation. He said "This kind of thing happens" and that he's had other lawnmowers that this is happened to before. My other problem with this after I is that after I left I researched YouTube videos. And I found that no one used a power tool to remove the nut off of any lawnmower. They all use the hand socket wrench or torque wrench. I asked the owner before I left to compensate me for this. He told me no, he's not held responsible. My wife called him to ask him to use one of his lawnmowers for the day and he still wants to charge me after breaking my machine. #justlostacustomer
