4/2026 Stopped by…read morethe Godfather's Pizza inside Love's Travel Stop during a busy stretch, and it was definitely a high-traffic moment. There were a few customers ahead of me who seemed a bit unfamiliar with the whole quick-serve pizza setup, asking a ton of questions and taking their time to decide. It slowed things down, but that's part of the travel stop experience with people coming through from all over. Eventually they allowed me to go ahead of them. Through it all, Kevin at the counter remained calm, patient, and pleasant. He stayed attentive when it came time to ring up my order, which I really appreciated given the circumstances. It's not always easy handling a steady flow of travelers with different needs and questions, but Kevin kept his composure and delivered good customer service.

It took about a half hour for us to even get an update on what was happening. My boyfriend came back into the establishment 15 minutes after we had ordered because the person that took our order told us that amount of time when he came in they said that they didn't even start the order yet. I walked in after 25 minutes and asked if there was an ETA and the lady just kept telling me that they were in the oven with no exact time and I asked for clarification for an exact time and she got an attitude and said well it's almost out of the oven. I definitely will not be back to this establishment Whatsoever.

Suuuuuper small ghost town diner. Open for breakfast and maybe lunch if the owner operator is in…read morethe mood. We walked in at 1:30 and almost got shooooed out but luckily we got one of the 8 empty tables inside. Goldfield was a hard rock mining town and so are its residents with a seam of friendliness mixed in. As is often the case in itty bitty off the grid places much of the menu wasn't available. Breakfast was already put away and lunch was mostly being served except for chicken or other out of stock items. Finally found a combination of items available and cobbled together an order. So let's see how it turns out. The waitress, cook and we suspect the owner/operator is a fun gritty gal. Went with a chili cheeseburger and side salad and turkey bacon wrap. Both came out quickly and were good. If you're from small town 'Merica you'll remember your small town diner in here. We will stop by again.

My son had the chicken strips, and he said they were really good too. The owner and employees were super friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The service was excellent, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. The dining room is also a huge upgrade from the old Chinese restaurant that used to be in this location. It's clean, inviting, and has a great atmosphere. We'll definitely be stopping by again the next time we're in Tonopah!

Catahoulas is a new restaurant in town that everyone has been excited to have join our community…read more Catahoulas is located inside the Banc Club (where the Chinese restaurant was) so you do need to walk through the casino that is very smoky regardless of how busy it is. The smoke does filter into the restaurant quite a bit. Despite the heavy smoke smell, the restaurant is clean and bright. Today I did a to-go order. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger no onions (came with fries) and an order of mozzarella sticks. The food has lots of potential but is not there-yet. I was surprised (not good or bad just surprised) when I opened up my burger and it looked more like a dip sandwich than a burger. The burger was cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. I was disappointed in the lack of bacon (I found 1 chopped piece the size of a quarter) since I paid extra to add bacon and the owner talked up how amazing his bacon was to me. The burger was also lacking the veggies. Not only am I someone who likes the veggies on my burgers, but this burger is so rich, it really needs the veggies to cut through its richness. The fries were HORRIBLE and that is kind. They were greasy, soggy, limp, slightly undercooked, and flavorless. The fries did not come with ketchup or any other dipping sauce. The mozzarella sticks were seasoned well and lightly breaded but didn't have the cheese pull that one would expect. These came with a marinara sauce that complimented them nicely. Catahoulas let me down; however, they have lots of potential as they grow into their brick and mortar location. I look forward to trying them again in a few months and hopefully having a more delectable experience.
