I had an excellent but messy Whopper with Cheese and mustard added, along with Fries, while Diane liked her Original Chicken Sandwich ordered plain and dry but with added cheese. This was our lunch stop on our bus trip back from Reno to Las Vegas. The group decided to eat on the bus. There are two fast food establishments, Burger King and Subway. I opted for Burger King as the line was shorter and it moved quickly. I got a medium combo meal. Medium fries, medium drink, and a bacon cheeseburger. The bacon was not crisp but that was OK. The fries were good, and if it's Coke, it's great! The young woman who took my order was polite and friendly. I took my goodies back to the bus and used the cup holders and my lap to hold my food. This is a quick stop for people traveling on US 95 and need to stop in Tonopah for food, gas, or restrooms. read more

This Tonopah Burger King is really about the only decent place to grab food quick in this town. There's some sit down places, but I don't have time for that. It located at the Chevron Gas station, so if you need gas, that's a plus. I got here just as breakfast was ending, so I was able to get a croissantwich breakfast sandwich and some tater tot things that pass as hash browns here. Service was fine and the food came out shortly. I don't wanna eat in the car and mess it all up, so ate in the dining room which was clean and nice. The food was hot and tasted as expected. Driving on my way to Vegas from Reno on the 95, Tonopah is just about half way. Good place to grab some fast food and get on the road again. I love they take all the normal Burger King coupons. I got 2 Croissantwich breakfast sandwiches, orders of hashbrowns and a coffee for just $4.00 bucks! Went inside to order. It was fast and efficient, unlike other Burger Kings I've been to. The food was even hotter than other Burger Kings. Good place for a stop. It's inside the gas station along with the Subway sandwich place. read more

I know this is a fast food, but this is also a business where it thrives on customer patronage, I don't expect an excellent service but I also don't deserve to be treated rudely. The person that was taking our orders was very rude. She clearly hate her job. I hope management sees this review to give this employee a retraining on how she suppose to behave with customers. I will also write corporate office regarding this matter. We were a family of 10 with kids around when she acted unacceptably. This is one reason why burger king doing so poorly. The only consistently good item on the menu at BK are the onion rings and it's over $3 for a portion that is pretty small. The chicken sandwiches cost more than the chicken sandwiches at Chick-fil-a and Popeye's and they're nowhere near as good. I have struggled for years to figure out how this chain stays in business. Most of the locations in my home state of WA closed several years ago but in NV, it seems like they're still building new ones. This is a testament to the poor palette of the American public. McDonald's upsets my stomach every time I am forced to eat it due to other options but at least it tastes good initially. Subway doesn't taste as good but it's not terrible. This was the most flavorful and enjoyable burger I've ever had at Burger King. The staff were all very polite and kind and were quick with the delivery of food. This place is beyond dirty. I have visited a couple of times to get gas and maybe a quick snack from the convenience and noticed some BK employees eat at subway on their break, maybe they just want to eat something different I thought. On one of my visits I was craving a little BK so I went for it. Ugh it was just dirty everywhere !! There is only so much you can try to take a picture of but you can get an idea from the pictures. Ignore the bad reviews, I'm glad we did! Our burgers were as good as any Burger King, fries were hot, and inside seating was comfortable and clean. Staff was just ok but there aren't a lot of options here and this was very convenient being connected to the gas station and restrooms. read more

This Burger King is 3.5 hours from Reno and 3.5 hours from Las Vegas. By the time I get here from either direction, I am in need of a rest stop. The bathrooms connected to the gas station are plentiful and clean, the gas station has lots of pumps, and the food at this Burger King is fresh and will stick to your bones. read more

Our burgers were not overcooked. The lettuce, tomato, and onion was fresh and crispy. The fries were served nice and hot and that's important to me. My chocolate shake was chocolatey, and yummy. Service was fast and friendly and we were back on the road without delay. This restaurant is attached to a convenience store, so it is quick and easy to pick up a few snacks for the road. Been stopping for lunch here once a week for 11 years. 2023 a very large bellied kid starting treating me like garbage. He would hand me the food then glare at me and slam the window and continue the death stare until I pulled away the third time he went to the front of the store watching me eat with a death glare. One hour later me and my dogs were violently ill. Dogs had one regular hamburger each I had a whopper meal. One month later one dog died. I was in two different er hospitals days after and now have to take daily stomach medications . Today I stopped at Burger King in Tonopah as I was traveling through. I ordered Jalapeño cheese bits and a bacon cheese burger. After I ordered and paid, I asked the cashier if I could get 1 ranch dressing, he said yes. My order came up, I believe it was the manager bagging everyone's food. I asked for a ranch, his response was - We charge for it, it's $0.27, my response was oh I asked for it at the register. He then turns and glares at the employee, throws me a ranch across the counter. At that point I was getting change from my purse as he says "just take it" and glares at the employee again. I said I'm getting your money, he responded just forget about it! Without facing me the entire time, I set $0.54 on the counter and said here's for the next guy. Food, 3 stars. Burger King food is always about the same. Ambience, 1 star. Tables were all dirty and sticky, food on the floor. Service, 0 star. We walked in at 9:40 PM and were greeted by the manager. The first words out of her mouth were "My dining room closes in 20 minutes and what do you want". We placed our order and received it at 9:45 PM. We sat at a dirty table in the back and started eating our burgers. The manager held her cell phone in our faces saying it was 9:47 PM and we needed to eat our food outside. Her dining room was now closed. We needed to leave. I reminded her she stated her dining room did not close toll 10:00 PM. My 72 year old friend in a wheelchair, and myself a few years younger stayed and finished our burgers. We listen to her storm off, go into the kitchen and start yelling at her staff and the other workers. That was the second time we heard her yelling at her employees in less than 10 minutes. At 9:55 PM she brought a bucket of water out and threw on the floor behind my friends wheelchair and took her rag and started slapping dirty water around the table next to us. At 9:57 PM we got up to leave, I showed her my phone, and said look we still have three minutes to annoy you. I am already submitting reports to the Nevada department of labor for the abusive conditions burger king employees are working in. I waited over 30 mins for only two items. Then when I got my chicken sandwich the chicken wasn't cooked. It was chewy still. And if the men working were worried more about the food than sexually harassing the female staff I doubt this would happen. All cars had to use the drive thru as the restaurant was not open, but they were more than willing to help take truckers orders... the staff was very nice and I was only in the drive thru for maybe 3-5 minutes. Driving through on Monday, got all the way into the drive-thru to see the signs at the grill wasn't working. We were blocked in after that, so we were stuck in line. Couldn't get nothing but fried food. Now on the way back, I pull into the drive-thru on the menu sign it states they are only taking cash. We were 4th in line with three cars behind us. And they emptied out the drive-thru of 4 cars before us before they got to us. I noted to the drive-thru help that they should have stated on the outside of the drive-thru that there was cash only so people like us wouldn't get stuck in the drive-thru. Been in a few times while in town for work. The place pretty much killed the McDonalds in town. Clean and up to date from stem to stern. It's like they dropped it in from out of town. All sparkly and clean right next to an abandonded hotel that hasn't been open for over a decade. Anyway they are always busy in the mornings because of the large workforce out here on construction jobs for the various energy mining companies. So sometimes the line can be long, just plan ahead if you are pressed for time to get to that next sagebrush or tumble weed on your drive between Vegas and Reno. If you are actually staying here, there isn't really a need to be reading this review, is there? The service seems to still be in early training mode, but they get the job done early in the morning when the rest of us are still just rubbing the sleep from our eyes. Conveniently located in the same building as a Subway and a convenience store. Get all of your "one stop" shopping done here if you are just passing through. I haven't checked the toilets yet, but I probably will have a chance to soon enough. Parking is plentiful even for the larger rigs pulling 5th wheels. Just be careful because it's not super smoothly designed so people seem to always be cutting across at various angles. The food is pretty much standard Burger King fare. Well maybe a touch above the normal. Because every time I have been, the stuff has been made fresh. Most of my memories of Burger King involves warm mayo on a heat lamp warmed sesame bun, non of that here as far as I have experienced. And cool....they have Light Lemonade. read more

So disappointing. I understand that it's a Burger King, and that it's in a very rural area. So I'm already prepared to suspend judgement and go in with an open mind. We love getting the 2 for 6. I always can go for a good ol' impossible whopper, and my boyfriend is a fan of the spicy chickens so it's a match made in junk food heaven. However after popping by this location, I'm both sad and disappointed. Both of the buns on our food was rock hard. I ended up tapping the sandwich on the dashboard and it made a tapping sound. Yikes! The inside was totally okay, he loved his spicy chicken and the impossible whopper was always awesome. We just had to eat it low-carb style and take the buns off.
