This little restaurant is great. The food is awesome. The people are super pretty. Everything is made to order and fresh and there's plenty of parking across the street. My wife and I just randomly stopped. The food is great highly recommend.

Cute little lunch spot in the middle of the Reno-Las Vegas drive. Burritos and shake were alright, they did the job. Very no-frills counter service. Stop if you're hungry and want decent food within an hour's drive from here. :)

No frills. Good food. Think of an old fashion burger shop. Tried the cheeseburger, Ortega burger, hotdog and fries. Service was good and people were nice. Area was clean.

    Cheeseburger. No 1000 Island sauce

La Casita never disappoints. I look forward to stopping here for lunch on my way to Vegas and I actually get sad if I drive by when it is closed. The only thing I would improve is the coffee. Keep up the good work.

Mina NV, talk about a place way out in the middle of nowhere ... and there's good burgers and Mexican food here. This used to be another burger place for years, but new ownership and they're doing well. If you're traveling the 95 north or south, stop on in, you can't miss it right on the side of the road. I had a burger and my friend had a burrito. Prices are reasonable even.

Yum! What can I say? We've stopped here twice this weekend. The first time I had the mushroom Swiss burger and this time tried the Al Pastor Burrito. Both were excellent! The burger comes with crinkle cut fries and the burrito comes with tortilla chips and salsa. Neither meal will disappoint. Service is fast and friendly. Best meal between Carson City and Las Vegas.

Stopped here on a hunch and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent food despite being in the middle of nowhere. Probably the best food for a hundred plus miles around. If you're driving from LA to northeastern Nevada it's one of the only places to stop and it's definitely worth it. It has the classics burgers, fries, hot dogs, shakes, but also has authentic Mexican food including tacos, nachos, and even breakfast burritos. There is tons of parking available for trailers and big rigs also. It is definitely worth the stop. I suspect it is under new ownership as Google maps lists it incorrectly as Socorro's burger hut.

Service was very good! Food was pretty good. Not a bad stop if you're hungry and in the area

Good to see the old Socorros location survived! Nice Mexican family serving up good food! Still an oasis on the long road from Tahoe to Sun City!

Fantastic food, very nice family. Such a bright spot on a very long road! If you see all the trucks that's the spot!

Benton Station - Bacon cheeseburger. Had chips instead of fries.

Actually, this is an option for many menu items if you don't want fries. It saves you a couple of bucks and maybe a half-inch off the waistline. The 1/2 lb burger was well cooked, the bacon was tasty, and the lettuce, tomato, pickles, and onions were crisp and fresh! I've visited several times over the seven years I've lived in the area and have always had a good experience. Make sure to try the pies if you have room for dessert... or maybe just have dessert instead? They completed a slight remodel a year and a half ago. Nothing major but the place looks nice and clean inside. The kitchen also received completely new appliances and a makeover. There's a small market attached if you need drinks or other sundries for the road. Gas pumps are outside and I think they got new ones recently as they appear to be an improvement over the old ones which were hard to read. Be careful as this is a remote out-of-the-way location so you'll find higher gas prices than elsewhere. Located at the intersections of Highways 6 and 120, Benton Station is owned by the Benton Paiute Tribe. Bishop is 35 miles south, about a half-hour by car. Tonopah, Nevada is 80 miles east, about an hour and 15 minutes drive. Hawthorne, Nevada is 84 miles north, an hour and 20 minutes. Mammoth Lakes via Highway 120 and Benton Crossing Road is 46 miles west, almost an hour's drive. The eastern entrance to Yosemite National Park (at the top of Tioga Pass via Highway 120) is 62 miles away, a little over an hour. If you're in the area and hunger is gnawing at your stomach stop by Benton Station for a bite and a little rest. They're open for breakfast and lunch only!
