so good Mocajete yeah it's awesome

this is a small town place with big time. Food service is great. Food is great. Must stop by.

Came here because there weren't many options in this town and the reviews gave me hope, but I was completely mistaken. The service was painfully slow -- it took AN HOUR, just for two plates of what were basically canned beans and rice to finally come out. And honestly, I wouldn't even call these enchiladas.

Lots of jarritos flavs including pineapple

We've been here a couple times now & it's out new ho to Mexican food restaurant. The staff is sure friendly, good is prepared quickly & tastes really good. It's a small place with about a dozen tables that is clean & the decor is simple but cute.

Not the juiciest meat in town, good flavor. The service is always dependable, and the place always is clean.

Really authentic food! The ceviche on the weekends is best in the area. Great place to have a bite to eat and the food is worth the wait!

We should have listened. So, the place had the motif of, "Someone broke into an abandoned building and ran a business." Floor was dirty, tables were dirty, trash cans full, bathroom dirty, drink dispenser not working only had maybe 30 drinks in the refrigerator. Very limited selection of what drinks they did have. All salt and pepper shakers were empty. I asked for a fork, it wasn't clean. In the picture on their site where the counter is, to the left there was a DJ sound board that was so dirty if you blew the dust would have made a cloud. I ordered a pastor burrito, cheese was obviously waved over it, because I couldn't find it or the meat, but it had plenty of lettuce.... The meals of my wife and friend were same par. My friend had been there before and said, "It was good before." The only thing that was good were the French fries and I was glad we didn't get sick after eating there. That's the only two things good I can say. I would not recommend this place to my dog. Zero wasn't an option, but the fries were good. Randahl

This is definitely in the category of a hidden gem!…read more YTA (Yerington Theater for the Arts) manages this amazing old building that serves as the cultural center for the small farming community of Yerington. Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area. It is a fabulous alternative to the fast food and casino coffee shops that are in the area.

Not many know this place has a Cafe inside, so you'll typically, especially during lunch, be able to sit and eat in relative peace. Which is a nice change of pace from other, full-fledge restaurants.
