Easily the worst chicken Marsala I've ever experienced. A greasy puddle of "butter". Just awful.

Delicious!!! We ordered a torta and a quesadilla, both with carne asada. They were fresh and…read moreperfectly cheesy. Stop at Parra's when you're in the area!

This place does not look like the pictures. When we went there we asked the guys coming out, "Was…read moreit any good?" They kind of looked down and shook their heads, no. We should have listened. So, the place had the motif of, "Someone broke into an abandoned building and ran a business." Floor was dirty, tables were dirty, trash cans full, bathroom dirty, drink dispenser not working only had maybe 30 drinks in the refrigerator. Very limited selection of what drinks they did have. All salt and pepper shakers were empty. I asked for a fork, it wasn't clean. In the picture on their site where the counter is, to the left there was a DJ sound board that was so dirty if you blew the dust would have made a cloud. I ordered a pastor burrito, cheese was obviously waved over it, because I couldn't find it or the meat, but it had plenty of lettuce.... The meals of my wife and friend were same par. My friend had been there before and said, "It was good before." The only thing that was good were the French fries and I was glad we didn't get sick after eating there. That's the only two things good I can say. I would not recommend this place to my dog. Zero wasn't an option, but the fries were good. Randahl

This is definitely in the category of a hidden gem!…read more YTA (Yerington Theater for the Arts) manages this amazing old building that serves as the cultural center for the small farming community of Yerington. Inside this refurbished old grammar school is an amazing little cafe operated by YTA. I used to come to the cafe when I lived in Yerington and it was under different management. I am so happy to see that the Cafe has been revived under the capable management of Roy Enochson, the Executive Director of YTA. A friend and I decided to have lunch here recently. The Cafe is in the lobby area of the Theater and serves as a place to eat, an art gallery and a boutique for all sorts of arts and crafts most of which are locally made. The space is a bit like being in a favorite Auntie's parlor with little tables, comfy chairs and a visual cornucopia of treasures. My friend ordered the lunch special - butternut squash ravioli with a side salad. I ordered the Cafe Signature Salad - a lovely fresh blend of baby greens, apples, cheese, cranberries, candied walnuts all lightly dressed with a white balsamic vinaigrette. I also had a blood orange Italian Soda. The food was all tasty and fresh. Service was vey friendly, but the food was slow coming out. It was worth the wait. Our total bill for the two of us was under $20. While the portions were not huge, the meal was satisfying and the quality was excellent. This is a definite place to stop if you are in the area. It is a fabulous alternative to the fast food and casino coffee shops that are in the area.

Nice, laid back environment with a small, but effective menu. You can sit down in the cozy dining…read morearea or you can sit outside at the front of the building to enjoy your meal. The have freshly prepared paninis, smoothies, salads, and an assortment of sandwiches. I believe they also do daily specials of dishes that are not typically on the menu. Not many know this place has a Cafe inside, so you'll typically, especially during lunch, be able to sit and eat in relative peace. Which is a nice change of pace from other, full-fledge restaurants.
