I called him since it was late afternoon after the local tire shops were closed. He did an excellent job and surprised me by showing me the nail I saw wasn't even the main problem, there was a second nail further into the tire that I wasn't able to easily see. He even gave me the nail as a souvenir haha. Prices are reasonable for coming to your location and being available nearly around the clock compared to the limited hours at most tire shops. I did take a little while longer than planned to come but I was at home and he was busy so it all worked out. Super nice guy and first class professional work. Hopefully I don't have any tire issues anytime soon but if so I'll call him.

I'm not sure who the old guy that Everyone complains about in the comments name is, that alone says a lot, but he seems to run the shop. I was extremely agitated with my visit here for multiple reasons that I will try to summarize. I walk in as I need a tire replaced and a "free" diagnostic as advertised. The 'free' diagnostic is apparently not free but costs a whopping $130! Apparently they can run the code for 'free' but they can't interpret it without $130. I say okay give me the free code, but don't interpret the diagnostic if it costs that much. I leave my car because it needs to stay overnight. This was unclear as they only asked if I was dropping off and picking back up. But fine, not an issue. By evening, I receive a quote for $850 because in addition to 1 tire, I need to replace another tire, balancing and alignment, replace an air filter and a manifold pressure sensor because they interpreted the diagnostic anyway of course. Okay. I return the next day for pick up and my quote is now $1000. The old guy swears up and down that he told me this on the phone. He was getting frustrated, raising his voice at me. I asked them to remove the tire alignment and air filter which they did to bring my price back down to the original quote. They gave me the actual diagnostic for 'Free'. I actually have a preferred mechanic that works on my car and thought this would be a simple tire replacement. So I stressed that I did not ask for any service other than the replacement of two tires and the manifold pressure sensor was not something that I came in for but they had already put it on, so I paid for it. He tells me I can collect my car at 2 PM same day when I had to come back and give them my wheel lock that he did not check for the day before when it was dropped off. I leave at 12:20 and by 12:40, he calls and says my car is ready. I asked why did he tell me I can come back at 2 PM if I could've just waited there for 20 more minutes and he says he put the car on rush but I already left. Communication is terrible. They need to send people exact quotes in writing, exact services that will be performed in writing, because relying on verbal confirmation for every thing and then arguing over what he thinks he said vs what I heard is insane. I don't recommend unless you walk with a pen and a paper and write down everything he says as he says it. I'm not coming back.

Recently after eight years, the battery went dead on my wife's car. I took it to BP and they fixed it within four hours at an unbelievably reasonable price. It would've cost me almost the same if I had gone to AutoZone and bought the battery myself and tried not to mess it up (MB code resets etc.)...most importantly they did it same day so we had the car back by 5:30 PM. The water pump had also been replaced by them only a few months earlier. They kept the car for about three days and charged me approximately $1,500 to fix the leaks. The very next day, the car was still leaking. I returned and was told it was just old oil and was advised to drive a few hundred miles. After about 300 miles, a red oil/engine warning light came on. I contacted the shop and was told to add oil and drive the car back. Shortly afterward, the engine seized and the car stopped running. I was then told I needed an engine replacement or rebuild costing approximately $7,000-$10,000. I repeatedly reported the leaks, trusted their diagnosis and followed their advice, yet the problem was never properly resolved. I have receipts, messages, videos, and documentation supporting the timeline. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop. I trusted them with my vehicle, and the result was extremely costly and devastating.

They emailed my report a few hours later and said the truck looked good; no suggested maintenance. Auto Stop is great. I've been taking my cars here for more than a decade. The email reports they send with pictures of your car are also very helpful. Let's you know what's good, what needs to be taken care of soon, and what can wait if you want. And everybody I've interacted with there has been nice.
