This is a very well kept gas station at a low priced compare to other gas stations in the area. The employees here are very helpful if you have questions or need assistance. They're quick with service and very attentive to their customers from my experience. The other nice thing about this gas Station is that there is rarely a line for the pumps. So you usually can go in and get out fairly quickly. They're also open 24 hours from knowledge. Would definitely recommend this BP in the area. read more

I am here all the time and interestingly at I think 10pm, they close the store and turn out the lights, but the pumps still function with a credit card. I know this because I am there most of the time after 10pm and it's lit only by street light. Of note, there is free air for your tires, and it's on 24 hours a day. If you are a Harris Teeter shopper, press cancel on the pump before you do anything, and it will ask you for your phone number associated with your HT card. Then based on how much you have spent there that month, it will knock off a certain amount per gallon. The most I've see I think was something like 40 cents per gallon discount, but you are guaranteed 3 cents minimum. read more

Terrible counter person. I was at pump 4 trying to use Apple Pay & the "Please Wait" Screen would not go away. I walk inside to pay with Apple Pay again and it wouldn't work. I tell the worker Apple Pay must be down because it wouldn't even allow me to scan my face (meaning their system was not responding). The clerk argues with me stating it's my phone & not their machine. I drive ACROSS THE STREET TO SHELL & guess what? Apple Pay works perfectly fine. No issues & I am able to fill up with ease. I wouldn't recommend this terrible gas station to anyone. Try Shell! They have impeccable customer service. read more

I took my 2008 Mazda CX-9 here for a second opinion after failing inspection at another garage. The other garage wanted to charge me $3400 to fix and pass inspection. I drove into this BP and (without saying anything) the service technician quoted me $1600 to fix all the same things, 53% less. If the car doesn't need to go back for service on this work, I'll give this place another star. Glad to have a great garage nearby!! read more

Brought my van in for safety inspection and they destroyed my roof rack backing out out of the service bay. At first they blamed me until I pointed out that they had raised the door all the way up to get the vehicle in but didn't do the same backing it out. No offer to repair the damage, but finally did drop an I'm sorry, I forgot out of them. Don't go here for service or even safety inspections. Maybe the gas is ok. read more

I've been used this guys for oil change for quite sometimes. I always request Mobile 1. every time I had oil change done I notice that my car doesn't run as smooth as it should. yesterday I took to the different stations for Mobile One oil change and my car runs very smooth as used to. this BP station's mechanic guy is very good and when owner(manager?)is not there car came back good. There is no evidence but I assume this owner guy rip me off with cheap regular oil instead of Mobile One synthetic oil. and charge me almost $100.00. read more

I have brought my 3 cars here for inspections and random repair work over the past 2 years and couldn't be happier. They have worked on my Hyundai Santa Fe, Kia Sorento and a Mercedes E550 and have had consistently fair pricing and quick turn around each time, and also never tried to upsell or talk me into unnecessary fixes. The gas prices are also consistently good here - (there's about 4 stations back to back in this spot which I know helps) and usually the Sunoco is the cheapest by a smidge (and therefore a madhouse) but this BP is usually the cheapest "Top Tier" gas which I'm happy to pay a few cents more for a higher quality fuel. read more

GUS and his team of automotive experts are outstanding!! GUS is never too busy to help. I had a nail in my tire not once but twice!! He did not hesitate to fix the tires almost immediately so I could pick my husband up at the hospital. When we decided to purchase two new tires, we could have gone to some of the other big retailers, BUT we found that GUS's prices were nearly the same and knew GUS would always be there if we had a problem! ALSO... his BP station offers HARRIS Teeter fuel points and we have saved a great deal over the past year on 92 octane. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND BP OF ARLINGTON. This a real "home town" service station!!! Stopped by to get gas. Station looked really nice. I notice that it is under new management. The store was really clean an had a good selection of products. Great customer service, great gas price too. Pumps are new and I got my gas really quick. The best thing it has Free Air. No more .75c or 1.25 for Air. Great job to the new owners. read more

The service center at this BP has performed work on both an Acura MDX & a Buick Enclave for me over several years. I'd been pleased with their past work and generally trusting of their recommendations & pricing when having it performed. Which is why when their technician called with an estimate of $660 for a Throttle Body Replacement for my 2011 Enclave during the work day last month, I authorized the work immediately. A bit after the call, I had some time to get a couple local quotes at significantly lower price points (for example, Precision Tune quoted $371-$499 and a nearby independent quoted $334) so I rang BP back but was told that the technician had already left for the day at 2pm and no one was available to address my concerns. I picked my car up that evening and paid a $685.70 bill that actually exceeded their estimate. I'm happy to pay a premium for great service, but this felt extreme & certainly undermined my faith in their pricing. So I wrote the manager Gus a letter making the case for a little consideration for a long time customer. That was over three weeks ago and I've received no response of any kind. read more

As I knew this place thoroughly, I can speak of some of my observations for over two years of work there. garage crew members are nice and good to do business with, but the management is the most exploitive, disrespectful and negatively-judging management I ever knew. Cashiers are expected to do manager work, cashier work, cleaning work and some of the garage work without expecting something in return. They are expected to cover up the manager absence at work regardless of their schedule commitments, and they are expected to work +2 years without expecting raise. Customers usually have shown the certified mechanic credentials, but the work in many cases was given to a less qualified person. I observed a customer ticket that got reduced from +600$ down to 200$ after she threatened her husband (a lawyer) will handle her issue read more

What a great experience. I met the manager Gus, heck of a nice guy. I've been going here to get my car inspected for a while. I recently got a nail in my tire and went to a tire store just down the street to get it repaired...mistake...they wanted to sell me a new tire instead. I called the BP station and asked if they did repairs...yup. Could they take me right now....yup. I arrived at 15 minutes later I had the tire repaired and was back on the road. I've been going to this station for years for car service and it's always been wonderful....that is until today. I took my Wrangler in to have the oil and fluids (transmission, transfer case, differentials) changed. I was asked if I wanted synthetic oil, and I said sure (typically synthetic isn't too much more than regular). I arrived to pick up my Jeep and was told that the oil/fluids costs were $214 and the total bill was well over $400. I don't mind the labor costs, but it would have been nice to know that they were going to use the most expensive synthetic oil that they could find (a product called BG) or at least explained to me what they intended to use prior to the work. I would have stayed with regular oil. If you plan on getting service under this "new management", ask first! I will never take any of my vehicles back, it's been nice knowing you, but someone else will have my business from today on.... read more

Called Gus after a nearby shop installed some tires incorrectly. I knew I should have gone back and had them do it for free, but at that point I just couldn't deal with their incompetence. From the moment Gus picked up the phone I knew I liked him. Absolutely awesome guy. And his mechanics are very knowledgeable and skilled. Brought my truck back to life after it failed inspection and we went over everything together under the truck so I could see exactly what failed and what he and I agreed would be the best to fix it. I've never really known what it is like to have a "mechanic" I could call on, but Gus is fast becoming that guy, answering questions after hours and making sure everything is working properly now that the work is done. I highly recommend his shop. Very well run, great people, great manager. Good pricing as well for both gas and work. Very reasonable. Saw a big screw embedded in my tire. Called them and they said to bring it over. They pulled the screw, air started escaping, but they quickly plugged it - all fixed. From initial phone call to returning home, the whole experience took 25 minutes. Can't do better than that! read more

This BP station has the best VA Safety/Emissions Inspector Jesus in Arlington! He's previously worked across the street at the Westover Service Center-Liberty Gas until recently, and I'm sure anyone who's been there knows who he is. He's very thorough, yet honest. And won't try to gouge you for unnecessary repairs. Bottom-line, I trust him, and have been taking all my vehicles to him for over 12 years. Always has a smile. If anything, its a loss for the Westover Service Center, but a big win for BP! Just glad to know he's still close by! read more

I believe this station was just taken over by new owners. They are fabulous. Stopped in because my windshield wiper broke and within 1/2 hour, they had fixed the wiper, inspected my car and filled my tires with air. Fabulous service. I will use them as my regular maintenance gas station from now on! read more
