I was looking for a creative birthday gift to give to my bestie!. I was searching around and I came across this online bakery called Cheryl's! Cheryl's Cookies is a in store bakery however they also have a wonderful online delivery of creative cookie packages. Cheryl's Cookies have creative deliveries for just about any occasion such as Mother's day, get well, graduation and of course birthdays. The online delivery process was smooth and easy. They delivered the package in about 4 days and you could include a nice message on the gift. Prices are also reasonable and affordable. There is a small store front where you can walk into and purchase or order gift packs online to be shipped. Today there was a gift box delivered with the Christmas variety pack. Love Cheryl's cookies since one of my friends in Columbus introduced them to me... Never been to their stores (once at CMH airport) but have ordered online sooo many times especially for birthdays and holidays for my friends! They also have make your own cookies tins. My favorites cookies are the buttercream and sugar cookies! Cookies are all individually wrapped and they make a great gift. Oh they have gluten free, sugar free and brownies too (brownies are kinda heavy and sweet). Order a box, basket, or tower of treats! Soo good that you just can't have one! they have special deals all the time...oh and if you pay for 1 year of passport for free shipping $29.99, it's sooo worth it...as you can get free shipping across the brands. This location was a breath of fresh air after visiting the Westerville location. Westerville was unable to answer any of my questions and Made me feel like a bother rather than a valued customer. So I left and I drove down to the lane Avenue location where I was greeted with smiles And two very helpful people. I was able to get six dozen cookies without any issues. read more

What beautiful packaging and delicious too! These cookies are awesome. They arrived neatly packed and in pretty boxes, which you can reuse. Their Sparkle Snowfall Tin Tower comes with snack sized cookies, regular sized cookies, brownies and pretzel clusters. They really pack a whole lot of goodies in there, which is perfect for sharing. I appreciate that everything is individually wrapped, making it easier to distribute among loved ones. My favorite cookie out of the bunch was the Buttercream Frosted. Store was small, staff was abundant and available to help with our purchase. Appreciated their ability to explain the lack of Brutus/ OSU cookie wrap in the catalogs...Trademark, $, etc. Coming from California, we have been purchasing the Brutus/ OSU cookies from catalog/ online orders. Placed our Brutus/ OSU cookies and had them shipped home. Unfortunate we were unable to utilize our pre-paid free shipping club which is only for I -line orders. There are some really cute options for packaging too if you are purchasing for a gift. This store is conveniently located in the Shoppes on Lane Avenue, behind the Rusty Bucket. It's easily accessible from the back parking lot too. There are a variety of specials to peruse, and the staff person was friendly and helpful. There was a time this was a 5 star review. I was first introduced to Cheryl's almost a decade ago when a friend shared one of their buttercream frosted sugar cookies with me. She said they were her very favorite cookie. I almost refused gdelicious they were. The other flavors I had were excellent. I think we had key lime, banana nut, along with chocolate chocolate, chocolate mocha and a few others. They looked simple. They were nothing less than the very best cookies I ever had. Because they were so good the next year, my husband's not small business ordered them for all their clients. A couple years ago, I ordered some of their frosted buttercream cookies for my little sister who loves sugar cookies. There was no gushing. I was confused. Last year, my husband ordered some for me as a surprise but they were not the same. The frosted sugar cookies brought me here and now they changed the dough on the frosted cookies and they call them "frosted cut outs." DO NOT GET THIS KIND OF COOKIE!!!! IT IS A 2 STAR COOKIE AT BEST. IT IS BAD AND WILL RUIN YOUR MEMORIES OF A ONCE WONDERFUL, DELICIOUS COOKIE!!! You get a 1 star rating because of the deception. And helpful. I'm not imagining it because I called a store to ask and they confirmed the dough on the cut out and sugar cookie is different. Now I'm worried they changed the dough on ALL of the cookies. The people who work for you are all very, very nice. Very nice. You should keep them. A word of advice: the reason See's candy has been around for so long is because the old products taste the same as they always have and the new products are just as good. Don't shoot yourselves in the foot by taking whatever advice some stupid business consultant with a BA in who knows what from some fancy school told you. Cheryl's cookies became a thing because whoever Cheryl is or isnt, s/he knew how to make a darn good cookie. If I don't see the round "frosted cut outs" changed to "frosted sugar cookies" we won't be ordering again. And I'll get a test box to make sure that the recipe is back. We'll order a mix box to make sure those cookies don't taste like garbage either. If they do taste mediocre, we'll go back to See's where we know what we order will be delicious. Have you ever had a bad Cheryl's cookie? I haven't (although, it's been a while). I'm pretty sure that they're mass-produced so the product is pretty consistent at this point. So this review is more about this store, which I do not really like. Staff is nice enough but they're a bit awkward. And they're missing that little extra umph of customer service that you would expect from a cookie factory. I tend to feel like employees don't want to be there, which makes me not want to be there. Besides that, it's a nice looking store. It's easy to find and surrounded by a host of other stores. Absolutely no vegan options, which makes me sad (get with the times, Cheryl). I placed an order AFTERA checking Yelp. To my surprise, I couldn't stop myself from feeling regret after seeing the horrible/ scary reviews. I was terrified that i wasted my money and that my order would get "lost" with no help from customer service. Luckily, I didn't have to deal with that. I ordered a batch of sugar cookies that were on sale for my out-of-state friend that was graduating. I totally understand how frustrating it is to deal with terrible customer service and feeling trapped, but I can't relate to these bad reviews! The cookies delivered and she really liked them. If I could give this place no stars I would. I ordered Mother's Day cookies this year and the entire transaction has been a nightmare. If you can't package and ship out pre packaged cookies and have them make it to the destination on time, orders shouldn't be taken less than 2 weeks prior. I ordered 12 days before Mother's Day and out of the 4 items I ordered only 1 was correct and on time. Still waiting on 1 to be delivered to me and one to be redelivered to my grandma. Two of the mothers days items came in a celebrate pail and not the Mother's Day pail I ordered. Again, if you don't have the paper liner you put over the pail that says happy Mother's Day, you should stop selling them earlier and not just assume a customer wants something different and send whatever you want. I should have been notified that my order couldn't be fulfilled because it was sold out and either refunded or given the option to choose a different item. These cookies aren't cheap and i am extremely disappointed with how little care was put into making sure these gifts arrived to my recipients correct and on time. Never again! read more

I'm going to start off saying I've never actually been to the store, just bought cookies from their online site... I'm not a huge chocolate chip cookie fan...I'll have the occasional gooey one hot out of the oven but if I had to choose I'd pick a sugar cookie any day. I was introduced to these amazing buttercream cookies back in highschool. My advisor who was also the admissions director had bought a huge box for the whole school (we had less than 300 students) and asked my friend and I to pass them out. After having one, I was in love. My friend and I snuck a couple in our bag and immediately decided these were some of the best cookies we had ever had.. They are incredibly soft with a thin layer of sweet buttercream frosting on the top. They are all individually wrapped so they freeze well too. if you are like me and love sugar cookies these are a must. I love that they use REAL ingredients - look at their labels, no preservatives! Just butter, sugar, flour, eggs; they read like a recipe not a normal ingredient label. My favorites are the iced sugar cookies, but the peanut butter with chocolate frosting is a close second! I am highly disappointed. I ordered cookies for 2 out of my 3 sons for their birthdays (one son's birthday is in June while the other is in July). Both orders arrived late even though they were placed well in advance. When I called to request a refund I was given my shipping costs back and told I would be unable to receive a full refund due to the package being in transit. If you would like to order from Cheryl's be sure to place your order at least 2 weeks in advance to have them for your special occasion(s). read more

Cheryl's cookies are the best cookies ever and I love to give them as gifts when I am visiting friends out of town or send along in a care package. It's a fun gift to represent a local, "Made in Columbus" sentiment. Thankfully they have shops around town that offer "specials" for their individually wrapped cookies. Some of these cookies are last season's flavors or designs but are definitely not expired. I just picked up a deal for Valentine's Day--a tin bucket decorated with hearts + 16 cookies of my choice for $19.99. They have all their normal flavors: buttercream frosting, chocolate chip, oatmeal, sugar, chocolate fudge etc. The best ones to me are the buttercream frosting topped sugar cookies so I always load up on them. They have a special each day of the week. The ladies at this store are always super helpful in relaying how I can get the best deals for the amount of cookies I need and I am glad I can get Cheryl's from a local store--not just a catalog! read more

Best cookies ever. I've never been in one of the stores, but only use their online services. I have shoprunner, so I get free, two day shipping. Couldn't ask for better service or cookies. My entire family loves them. Individually wrapped and always fresh. Sooo I am in love with Cheryl's frosted buttercream cutouts. This is not a secret. But I can't believe I never realized there was a Cheryl's here on Lane!! So much closer to me than going to the mall locations! And way cuter too. Same products as the usual Cheryl's and same amazing staff. The younger girl who helped me the other day was so super nice!!
