Very cute place in downtown Tulsa w plants for sale, a bar area, and pastries. Lemon bars, salted brownies, and peanut butter cookies were fantastic but don't buy the caramel pecan bars. I ordered the farmhouse breakfast and it was great but I tried my friends chicken and it was very dry and the potatoes tasted like straight up grease and were absolutely terrible. We waited 35 min to be seated, 15 min for them to greet us and take our drink order, 15min for the drinks to arrive, 15min for the waitress to take our food order, and another 40 minutes for our food to come out. They never once offered a discount or apologized for the wait. They offered my friend a cookie but didn't offer the other four of us anything. The menu prices are not consistent as well and were $2-3 more per item. read more

Actually, after finding out my dining partner didn't like that Crusty, Dry-Mold that they presented as a Chicken-N-Bisc, (the DRY Mold refers to the Biscuits they served that day.) Had someone else spoke up about the poor quality of the biscuits that day, I would have also. The Biscuits were dry and inedible. On Veterans Day we dined. This is a nice establishment. Beware the "rave-reviews" for Biscuits. Perhaps the Chefs and owners should take a look down south, or even the mid-west to find out what "real biscuits" are, before trying to pass-off dry-azz corn-meal and alot of outdated starch, before they serve this dish. Went for brunch. Had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table, but we had time to kill, so not a problem. We had the Farmhouse breakfast, Santa Fe Breakfast Burrito, and the Avocado Toast. All of it was done well and the food was very good. The wait for the table was not a challenge, but the wait from the time we ordered to actually getting our food was a little abnormal. Somewhere around 40 minutes I think. That was the only downside. The server and the entire staff were terrific. I would recommend this place to anyone, just be sure you have some time to kill. read more

Went to Cherry Street Kitchen for brunch with my better half and we were immediately greeted at the door. We chose to grab an open seat at the bar and were greeted by the team member even before we sat down (nice job!!!). We were offered water while we chose our beverages, and were handed the menu. At first I was confused because the brunch menu selection appeared to be small, but rest easy because the flavors packed in were not. I selected the brunch burger....i wish I hadn't waited two weeks to review, but hey that's why Yelp sends reminder emails! The burger was amazing, perfectly cooked and the flavors of the over easy egg and the bacon (of my goodness their smoked pork shoulder bacon....heaven) paired with the bun and the mixed greens to add the bitterness and spice! I'm getting hungry writing this!!!! Their breakfast potatoes were well seasoned, crunchy on the exterior and light and fluffy on the interior....no ketchup required. My wife had the Farm House breakfast and based on how she was guarding the plate from me and the smile on her face, I have to write it must have been great! I'm giving 4 stars only because they do not offer a steak and egg option, and I firmly believe that in the South this is a staple for breakfast/brunch. read more

Went there for the first time and sat outside. We must have been forgotten about because after we got drinks nobody came out for a long time. We waited 50 minutes in the cold for our food and it was disappointing. Breakfast sandwich came with the bun so burnt we had to send it back even though we were starving. Breakfast burrito, sandwich, & chicken sandwich were all very bland and the chicken was borderline burnt. The french toast was good, but that was about it. Our waitress finally came back for the second time at the very end of our ridiculously long visit only to ask if we had paid and then walked away. Not coming back here again and that's for sure. Waited to be seated. Was not told they were out of food items. Sit down and get drinks then we're told they are out of biscuits which is why we literally went there. Mind you we have two kids. We were also told they didn't have a "kids menu." I mean if it's an adult restaurant post that on the door. Not having food for kids makes me not want to go back. I live around the corner from Cherry Street Kitchen and I've phoned-in my takeout order numerous times since they moved into downtown. The food NEVER disappoints. I've enjoyed the turkey chipotle melt, the roast beef melt, the tab, 50 shades of gravy, zac's salmon fish and chips, Fred's fried chicken sandwich, and the Boston avenue club and it's all delicious and hot every time. Sat at the window/bar to people watch. Had the Chicken Salad Salad with balsamic. Had an extra scoop of chicken salad added for my meal of the day. Great salad! These folks are absolutely overwhelmed and unable to provide timely service. I'm recently working downtown again and heard good things so I stopped by at lunch on a Tuesday. It was insane. I was told it would take 20-25 minutes so I placed a to go order. It actually took 30 minutes to receive a decent but way overpriced $20 salad. If you're looking for lunch on a workday, this is not the place. Man do I miss Billy's! That place knew how to handle a lunch crowd. read more

We went here for Saturday brunch, I was expecting a wait but we sat at the bar right away. I ordered the Mai Tai and my husband ordered a pineapple mimosa. Both were delicious and they did not skimp on the booze. I ordered the breakfast bowl with sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and a biscuit. Everything was good but the biscuit was, WOW. I'm still thinking about it 2 days later. We shared a side of bacon that was cooked perfectly. My husband had the breakfast burrito with BurnCo sausage. Crowded Saturday morning, you seat yourself but something always seemed to open up for those walking in. The servers all happily work together to make the experience amazing. I'm extremely disappointed in the service we received today. My boyfriend and I loved brunching here but will no longer support this business due to their treatment of us and our guests. Our party comprised of guests that have traveled from Dallas visiting Tulsa for the first time, and have now left a bad taste of the city. We believe that there was racial bias in the treatment we received from their staff. We completely understood that our party may have a brief wait to be seated during peak hours but we experienced a delay in greeting, was told that someone would help us and were approached by a woman that hesitated to give us further details and finally settled to take our number. When we asked about open seats that we saw in the back we were ignored and the woman shot us a very ugly look before sarcastically asking if we'd like her to take us off the list. She looked exactly how she behaved and we will never be subjected to such foul behavior from an establishment. read more

First, I started to give 4 instead of 5 stars because we waited over an hour for our order, and because it was so noisy (both probably due to it being extremely busy), but the food was excellent--so 5 starts it is!! I ordered the BooYah Breakfast Bowl while my hubby ordered the Breakfast Burrito. I make what my family thinks are the best homemade biscuits and homemade gravy (chicken, turkey, roast), so ordinarily I never like biscuits or gravy at restaurants; however, their biscuits were hands down the best I've ever eaten out anywhere. Ditto on the gravy! The gravy was so full of sausage chunks, I didn't even eat the sausage patty on my plate. The biscuit was huge, & very crispy on the outside, just like I like. The entire breakfast was definitely 5 stars!! The portions are very large, so I had enough to take home for another breakfast (actually 2 more breakfasts). The staff was also very good and attentive in spite of the busy time. My husband also really enjoyed his burrito. We will definitely be back, although we'll probably try going at a different, hopefully quieter, time. read more
