The crispy eggplant was a huge fan favorite, but we ordered so many other things that were good. The Sichuan wontons were delicious. We also got the dry chili chicken, dan dan noodles, Szechuan string beans, and a couple other things. Their Sichuan ice jelly was also yum. The service was great.

Got Chengdu Impression for some quick dinner time takeout. The portions were good but dishes felt slightly pricey for what we got The pork was on the salty side but did like how thinly they were sliced Green beans were cooked to a soft/borderline mushy and wrinkly texture (not my preference) and lacked the Sichuan spice that i was expecting The salt and pepper shrimp was mediocre as well. Shrimp itself tasted old and not clean. Breading wasn't as crispy as I would've liked (granted yes i acknowledge it was in a takeout box soo) Overall wasnt too satisfied but I feel like i could have a different experience with dining in and trying other dishes

He said he put it in a large cup for me... tasted like a normal lychee martini. Nothing outstanding

The server was super nice. His Chinese name is 哲山and he spoke fluent mandarin . He said he did his undergrad at Wu da which the full name would be Wu Han university . The food came out sooo slow and to be honest over cooked... salty and oily... they ran out of Celtice "my fave "and never heard that they ran out of this before...I ordered my lychee martini($10) since they didn't have hh and just waited and waited. He didn't bring me hot water and also lemon when I asked for it .( I usually just drink room temperature water these days but it felt good to have some warm lemon detox after massage and cuppin) I haven't n been to this location in a couple of years and have always just ordered Chengdu on ubereats whenever I craved for it. I thought dining in would be more fresh( and hot usually is). However I was quite disappointed!

Ordered take out here. Easy to call ahead and food was ready in 30 minutes. We ordered 3 types of steamed dumplings - lamb and dill, chicken and cabbage, and beef and scallion. We also got 2 noodle soups, scallion pancakes, sichuan string beans, and vegetable fried rice. The dumplings and noodle soups were the stand out items and had a great chew and flavor. The tomato broth with fried egg noodle soup was surprisingly good. The prices were reasonable for the quantity.

the shrimp shumai was tasty! Lots of seating and very authentic. The service was fine. The prices are great though. The beef noodle soup I got was about $13 and a massive portion. However, the broth itself was not SUPER flavorful. It tasted watered down but would go again bc the prices were good

Great flavor. Have had mapo tofu and braised pork. Braised pork is awesome. Mapo tofu is great too, but fair warning very spicy, the mala is no joke (but, once you're acclimated, very delicious). Nice ambiance in restaurant, no wait both times, nice seating, clean.

I've always been a Lao Sze Chuan girl but lately Chengdu has stolen my heart. My go to dishes: - yushiang eggplant!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I crave on the weekly, it's so soft and flavorful!) - twice cooked pork (both crispy and tender and a little spicy - look for their BOGO deals on the twice cooked pork on Uber Eats) - boiled fish sichuan style (a childhood fave of mine. Spicy and yummy!) - sichuan green beans (a staple - I like mine really soft and charred and usually that's the case here)

Love the authentic sichuan flavours here - you must get the sour fish (with live fish option)

Thankfully, that wasn't the case--I enjoyed the meal overall, even if it wasn't a "wow, this is the best meal ever" experience. The biggest surprise for me was the dried chili chicken. I almost didn't order it because so many reviews said it was overly salty and spicy. We asked for less salt, and they were happy to accommodate. I actually thought the spice level was very manageable, and it ended up being one of my favorite dishes. The orange chicken was another pleasant surprise. I expected it to be a basic, Americanized option, but it was delicious and ended up being one of my favorites of the meal. My friends really enjoyed the dan dan noodles, which seem to be one of their signature dishes. Personally, I thought they were good but not particularly memorable compared to everything else. The mango shrimp was tasty as well, but it wasn't something I'd consider a must-order on a return visit. Service was great. The waiter was friendly, accommodated our request for less salt, and we were seated immediately. We arrived about 10 minutes before opening on a weekday to line up, and that seemed to work well. overall a great experience!

I was really…read morecraving some good Chinese food but did not want to go into downtown first to pick up and then head back home so I looked this place up and had decent reviews and decided to try it out. What really impressed me was they had a specific section of the menu which was titled "Salt and Pepper". Of course I was super excited to try the salt and pepper tofu so here's what we got: - we got the salt and pepper tofu - we got the American garlic broccoli - got the mala lamb. - Got a pair of complimentary vegetarian spring rolls. When I went to pick up the take-out order, I was shocked at how heavy it was. This was clearly a lot of food. I'll start with the lamb. Very well thought out packaging, to be straight. Because the lamb had a lot of oil and liquid in it, they put it in a plastic container, which they knew is going to leak. They put that entire container in a separate tiny plastic bag and wrapped it so that the juices from that would not come all over in the main bag. Really appreciate that. Now the lamb, while cooked okay, the flavor was just, you know, it did not do it for me. Add to that they really kept the lamb as relatively big pieces. They were thinly sliced but they were just large pieces. They could have been smaller for it to be easier to eat. Flavor-wise there was just too much black pepper, which is what I was expecting, but to match that there was no flavor as such. The salt and pepper tofu was a disaster. I got it from other places. The flavor just was not doing it. It was not crispy at all. Yes I have them take out salt and pepper tofu from many other places. It does leave its crunchiness to some extent. This one had zero crunch. In fact it was weird. Every piece that was stuck to the next one had something gooey on it. Just overall the flavor was very underwhelming. The American garlic broccoli was overcooked to the extent it did not have the firmness one would expect and was overcooked to the extent where some of the smaller pieces just disintegrated. The spring roll is wild. The casing was phenomenal. It was perfect for a spring roll even after opening it after one hour. Really appreciate that. The filling, however, there really weren't many vegetables in it at all. That was very disappointing. Overall I don't think I am going to grab food from here again. The reason they get the 3.5 stars, though, is they did a phenomenal job on the packaging of all the food. The quantity was well beyond what I expected. The food, however, I have to say, was a disaster. And maybe this is my taste. It may be it's a bit too Americanized and I have not been used to eating very Americanized Chinese food for the last many years. That might be the problem.

The only thing I didn't like about it was the chicken; it had too much breading, but it had a good amount of crisp vegetables and rice. Their "Lunch Specials" are the best bet; besides your entrée, you can choose soup and an appetizer. The menu says "soda pop," but it is separate from the Lunch Special: entrée, appetizers, and soup. I chose to eat there; the service is fast. Your entire order is on one tray. The only thing I didn't like was the chicken; the rest was OK, including the soup and appetizer. I chose the Sweet & Sour Soup and the Crab Rangoon. Bottom line: I probably won't go back. If I do, I'll order something different. No public bathroom.
