They definitely didn't let me down. We ordered their dry chili chicken, Dan Dan Noodles, and Sichuan wontons. All three were amazing, all three came with some heat and would order them again without hesitation. Went in their expecting regular Chinese food and was blown away by the amazing chinese food, attention to detail oriented waiter and no frills but perfected Chinese food. Let me tell you something, this may be THE best restaurant in Chinatown - and I've tried many spots in Chinatown. My favorite dish is their Orange Beef (like orange chicken, but beef). It's so perfectly crispy and bursting with sweet and tangy orange flavor, I'm not sure many Chinese spots are doing an orange beef but it's a hit. All of the food is bursting with flavor for that matter, I have never once been disappointed in any of their dishes. The smoked tea duck is also super interesting and delicious. Everyone in Chinatown raves about how amazing bros dish is. It's definitely way more tofu, with a tiny bit of beef. Mixing the rice with the slightly mala sauce made the rice actually so addicting, and I found myself wanting to drink the sauce loll We also tried the dongpo rou, which I was really intrigued about because so many people made it on Culinary Class Wars. We ordered the Dongpo Famous Pork - amazing pork belly dish with depth of flavor that was just so good - twice cooked pork dish - also fantastic! salt and pepper pork ribs, which I didn't like too much texture-wise but tasty taste-wise lol, but husband and two sons polished off, and Meizhou dry Chili chicken - wow thos peppers were ALIVE! This is a hidden gem tucked in china town right by the red line station. We walked in here on a random weekday afternoon as it was suggested by some people on reddit. To our surprise, this place has some of the best Sichuan food we have ever had. We ordered the dan dan noodles and sichuan dumplings and they tasted heavenly. There's lots of Sichuan heat in the sauce coating the proteins and vegetables. I got us the Home Style Bean Curd. It's about $13 for a pretty large portion. This is even better when it's ordered spicier. Lots of vegetables mixed in with the bean curd. This was enough for both for us. Good thing I only got one because it was ass big.
