She had put me on hold for a bit to assist the customers in front of her in which I understood but when she would hand me off to someone different 3 times, it was a bit annoying. So, I ordered the food and she said it would be done around 25 mins. My coworker came to pick the food up and it wasn't even ready yet. It took them additional 30 mins after she got there. It's hard to find good Chinese food in the Corona/Riverside area. Cheapest Chinese buffet in town. For $6 bucks it's a deal! Get their early and the food will be fresh enough. We also order the Hong Kong style crispy noodles, which we've been looking for in this area for years! Few of the were good, chicken wings, shrimp. Dint like the crab Rangoon much. The worst Chinese food experience ever. I decided to go here as it was the only place open on Christmas. The manager/waitress was on the phone and barked to sit at a table while pointing at it. There was a lingering smell of raw sewage, probably the smell of the fish tank of live fish which does not look like the water has ever been changed. The food. First it took an hour and a half to get anything. When it arrived it was slammed on the table as if it was served in a military mess hall. The orange chicken was nothing but fried dough. I would take a Christmas miracle to find the chicken contained inside. Gross! didn't eat it beyond one bite. The fried rice had burnt bits in it and was nasty. Avoid this place. read more

The food here was amazing!! We started with the Po Po Platter, which included paper wrapped chicken (best I have ever had!!!), beef skewers (which my family LOVED!!), dumplings, spring rolls, fried wontons AND fried shrimp. The orange chicken was good and the shrimp and scallop plate was seriously the best ever and my husband said their hot and sour soup was really good. We found this place by staying at the hotel next door and we are so glad we did! We got a ton of food and didn't spend as much as we thought we would. Never again. First off i will say the food was decent, prices just a bit high, portions large but... service was so slow, I'm talking an hour and a half of WAITING!!!! Lost our appetite it took so long. Never got an explanation of why it was taking so long but apparently when it was time to pay I mentioned it and all I got was "sorry, it's the holidays, we weren't even supposed to be open" ohh, great, thanks a lot. You can smell the septic/ sewage about a good 30 feet from the restroom door INSIDE THE RESTAURANT!!! Freakin gross, I feel so bad for the customers sitting within those 30 feet. So anyways I'm in the restroom using a stall, the only one that didn't have toilet paper hanging off the sides of the seat, but still was complete with urine stains at the bottom base. So, the lady owner rushes in, goes straight to the sink in a major rush (maybe becuz she was overwhelmed with the whole "not supposed to be open" thing) then runs into the stall next to me with out cleaning off that toilet paper I seen hanging over the seat!!!! Ewwww!!! Plain eew, this shows me what kind of cleanliness this place is managed under. NO THANK YOU... NEVER EVER AGAIN. SRY. Okay so now that that is explained, I got two more notes to add. First off our main entrees (served family style) came each "EACH" at different times, about four minutes apart and we had four of them so by the time we received our last plate of food it was a good 12 minutes later! Okay and second, we seen a total of four parties, all different sizes walk in and leave, some actually sat at a table then decided to leave!! I think this says a lot too. Although there are very few items compared to what most people would be expecting to find at a "chinese" buffet, I must admit this place tries their best to keep it authentic. I mean, they even have a small rice cooker on the steam table. Most of the customers are Chinese immigrants who wait in their cars until the buffet opens which is always a good sign when it comes to Asian cuisine. For $6.99 you can get items such as salt and pepper baked pork chop, chop suey, chow mein, rice, salt n pepper shrimp, sauteed bok choy, egg rolls and soup of the day. I really liked the salt and pepper pork and the mongolian beef. The fried rice was really nice too. For the price, you get a good variety. Have eaten there at least once a month since then, and have never had a bad meal. This place has amazing food and I am one picky eater but they've made my food exactly the order I wanted. This place is very quiet and cozy you do not feel like you have to be dressed up to be here. The staff is friendly and was not very crowded. I am so glad to say that we can finally have good Chinese in our area. The dinner special was plenty of food and even plenty of food for lunch the next day if you were not a big eater I would recommend getting the individual plates they are the same thing but just smaller portions and they have such a great variety as well I will definitely be coming back to this place or palace I should say! Because it definitely feels like royalty there. They get very accurate photos of the food and list all the ingredients in there for you as well. This would be a great place to go by yourself, take a date, or take your family. Plus this place is also affordable!! This place looks dumpy as hell, but it's easily the best and most authentic Chinese place in Riverside. The place would benefit a lot from an interior redesign and maybe I think from cutting it's menu down a little, but most everything is so good. The walnut shrimp is amazing as are the fried pork chops. I came here around 2:30 for the buffet. The first thing I noticed was how small the selection was, I figured the quality of the food would make up for that. I was wrong. A lot of the food was cold and it just wasn't that tasty. The server was attentive and friendly but the food was not good by any means. There are a few other Asian buffets in the area for around the same price that actually has a large selection with warm and tasty food.
