My old pump blew my pool was green and I wanted to close it and set up install for the following year. They sold me a new expensive Pentair Pump. I purchased it along with a pool opening for May20th 2021. The total cost was approx $1200. PAID IN FULL! The technician shows up to install and the pump sold to me was made for an inch and a half piping, I have 2 inch piping oh and it was 7 inches too short. I learned this when the technician asked me about the site prep! NO ONE FROM LESLIES EVEN MENTIONED A SITE EVALUATION BUT HAD NO PROBLEM TAKING MY MONEY. YOU NEED A SITE EVALUATION. So now I have an ill fitting $1200 pump. THAT DOESNT WORK. After the tech left the pump shut down. I called the Leslie's corporate line and they DISMISSED me. Telling me they would come back till June 18th. I PAID YOU FOR A RUNNING POOL ON MAY 20th. after having to call multiple times during my vacation they finally came out May 25th. Guess what... my pump is still not working! You think Leslie's cares. 2 visits later and they still can't fix what they broke. Aren't you a Pool company. So I did go into the store to speak with them in person. The guy there told me straight up... there was nothing he Would Do. He straight up refused to help me. He stood there with a stupid look on his face basically waiting for me to leave so he could go back to testing water. DO NOT USE LESLIES. CHEMEX is 2 minutes down the road, do yourself a favor

It turns out it's $91 a month for 12 months but deliveries are very sporadic. I actually had to buy my own shock and chlorine because I still haven't been sent any. So far I've paid about $400 and have received almost nothing. When I tried to cancel the plan they told me no. I have to pay for a full 12 months. After that I'm free to cancel. we love our tub but we are disgusted by this turn of events. Don't get tricked into signing up for the monthly plan. You are just wasting your money. Any pool supply store sells hot tub chemical and you can have it when you need it not having to hope a delivery comes. After $400 of monthly fees I still had to spend $60 to buy what I needed. They told me I must be using too much but according to the water test strips my tub water is perfect and looks crystal clear as well. Just say no and buy your own supplies at the store.

I became a local expert in pools and quality products all learned from Bilt Rite. I remain extremely please with the highest quality equipment recommended to me which continues to allow me to be maintenance free. I do it all myself, except for opening and closing procedures. The quality of my neighbors' pools, although paying much more, was highly inferior and certainly not user friendly. I can control all from my phone, having installed an Aqua Pod and Modem. Sure beats going out every time to turn on heater or filter. As far as service is concerned, when something goes wrong, unrelated to the installation, they will definitely take care of it to perfection. I recently needed a "board" replaced. It was done with the utmost care and professionalism, coming back a second time to ensure it was fully operational. It was also followed up by the office to ensure all worked out perfectly well. There might be a rare occasion of an unsatisfied customer with customer service. I can only tell you that I have never experienced anything but the highest level of service and getting the job done always. Any issue related to pool function is always cared for promptly. If it can be done over the phone then it will be communicated in that manner, otherwise in person. I wish to highlight the main person in charge of customer service, Patty. Her responsibility is huge. She is in charge of keeping everyone on time with their opening and closing of pools, new construction schedule, rare issues with pools that need attention. She does it in the most professional manner. She answers all emails and phone calls in a very timely way and always get the job done. Just remember, when you show respect and professionalism, you will be treated back the same way, to your highest level of satisfaction. I would like to close by saying they know everything about vinyl pools. They have decades of experience. They do not do gunite pools and have therefore developed an expertise in Vinyl and its associated equipment. If you want your pool "Bilt Rite" then call Steve and Mike and Patty at Biltrite pools in Commack.

He wasn't the cheapest but also was the most expensive out of the 8 guys I met with. just had a great feeling about this guy and he also did a friend of mines pool in which he had the same experience as I did.
