My foodie heart is so happy! This place exceeded my expectations! The staff was so friendly, the restaurant was clean, amazing atmosphere, top notch patio, and the food!! Chefs kiss! Loveeeee this place. We go here for every family celebration. Everything is pretty good here especially their steak. I love that they are in the same family as lgo. I hate inside though. It is very dark and gloomy. Always sit outside. However there is usually a wait. The service is fine nothing remarkable. I think this place has more nostalgia for me than anything. For our birthday dinner, our uncle took us to Chelsea's Kitchen! Chelsea's Kitchen is easy to spot with it's shiny glass front! As soon as you pull in, your option is to valet lol. There is also another parking lot right next to it where my uncle parked lol. Chelsea's Kitchen is dark, rustic, and sleek. The patio is also cute although we dined in. While the ambiance is cute, Bf compared Chelsea's Kitchen to "Rich people Chili's"; pretentious and expensive for what it really is. Yes, the food is good and of better quality but overpriced. $28 for steak tacos?? My uncle suggested ordering a burger because they are well known for them. Bf ordered his burger medium rare as the menu suggested and his bun turned mushy because the burger was oozing everywhere. The burger was fine and one of the more reasonably priced items at $16 but I've had better burgers from dive bars for a few bucks less. As several people have mentioned, the seasoned fries are good, and they are served in a generous portion. Service was fine, although at times we couldn't find our waitress to ask for ketchup. One of the waitresses only made eye contact and spoke to my Caucasian bf which was not subtle and not appreciated. Overall it was nice getting together with my family but for the price point, and soo many other options in the Valley, we won't be coming back. read more

Came to this place with a group of 10 and we heard this place was great. On boy it was everything looked great. Inside outside ambiance was exceptional. I should've got the fries! The green chili burger was okay, I wish it had a little more flavor but it was a good quality beef patty. The green chili didn't add any heat at all. Skip the baked potato and get fries! The baked potato had no flavor. If there was any salt and pepper on the table, I couldn't find it. The food here is fantastic. I tried the vegetable enchiladas, mashed potatoes, tomato soup, and corn bread, and everything was very flavorful. Service was excellent as well, and the food came out quickly. Their cocktails were strong but basic. The bar menu could benefit from an overhaul. The only other critique I have is their valet system. It's complimentary but entirely unnecessary. They have their own parking lot, so making it where you have to use a valet to park is weird and confusing. However, the interior and patio dining area are both lovely and well decorated, and (most importantly)- the food is great. read more

I'd say Chelsea's is a Phoenix institution thanks to the work put into it by the folks at LGO. Couple of times I've gone for lunch there's always a decent-ish (30+min wait) just to sit outside on the patio, and rarely if that for the inside. Could be due to the smoke smell inside, but it's something you get used to and part of the ambiance. Chelsea's is a little expensive but definitely worth the wait and price. #TreatYoSelf The best way to start any meal there is with their chips and salsa + guac - definitely not a watery salsa found here! A carryover item from Ingo's is the deviled eggs which you can order in 3 or 6- the question when ordering isn't yes/no but how many. There's bacon involved!! The salads are bar none. Friends who go more than me always pick the Del Mar but I am more keen to the Brussels Sprout Salad with chicken (add a few $). Another shared favorite is the skillet corn bread. Service is generally great and on your way out be sure to grab one (or a few!) of the fresh mini cookies. read more

We definitely DO NOT recommend. The food was good, however they had this plate of complimentary cookies near the door. We watched many people dig their bar hands in during the midst of this cold ad flu season. Ultimately, it's against health code. We raised the issue, and a supposed manager came to our table to scold and shame us. We later spoke with a gal who started she was the manager. She claimed to be doing everything possible to correct the situation. Yet here that plat of cookies. Uncovered with no tongs, and open to bare hand grabs from the piblic. You sit at two separate booth tables next to each other, and my daughter said you should've told us that but regardless of who should've done what, the hostess was SO unpleasant, SO incredibly condescending that I was embarrassed The manager apologized and wanted to set us outside at a table for 10 but it was at a table in the front facing the parking lot so we declined Then we had a waitress who acted like she would prefer to be anywhere besides where she was and went through the motions, but no heart was behind it However, the food was delicious as always, and we still enjoyed ourselves, but it was very disappointing to have such unpleasant people in such a nice environment, esp because I had recommended it so highly read more

I've been here several times and this visit was just ok. I ordered the trout and it was good although the vegetable medley consisted mostly of carrots and onions. My boyfriend ordered the steak tacos, which are made with ribeye meat (minus the taco) and fries and they brought out a filet minion with fries. We said "that's not the right meat" but the server insisted it was. Ate it anyway but wasn't what we ordered. It was 100% a filet and although some prefer that cut, my boyfriend doesn't. read more

Sad to be writing this review, but after our experience last night we left upset, disrespected, and not wanting to step foot near Chelsea's Kitchen again. I have been a frequent diner at Chelsea's for years and always had good experiences with food, ambience, service, and quality; however last night changed everything. My husband and I arrived to have our date night at Chelsea's at 5:40. We snagged a coveted parking spot and headed in to meet the hostess and see how long the wait was. A wait is expected here, but usually worth it. We walked in and the hostess was exceptionally rude. Never before have I experienced such horrible service from a hostess. She would not even look up and immediately said "30-45 minute wait" with a tone of vitriol. We were taken aback by her attitude toward us and seemingly everything and everyone else in the restaurant. We said we weren't going to wait and she responded with a harsh and enthusiastic response of "perfect". We both walked out and we're sort of flabbergasted at the experience. Chelsea's has always been a great place that I enjoyed, but after this I will take my business elsewhere. There are too many wonderful places to dine in the valley of the sun where you get treated with good and friendly customer service. Chelsea's isn't worth the condescension. The host is the first impression and face of the restaurant; service like this should never happen. read more

It can be pricey but great food. The ribeye that was on special, it was 42 dollars, was amazing. I love it, nice char on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside even though it was asked for at Medium temp. Short rib tacos are great, got a bunch of extra tortilla shells for free, guac is creamy and the short ribs just fall apart. I was a bit confused though, we had 4 different people come by to serve us, a drinks person, then someone that took our order and waited on us for most of the lunch time, then another person took over for the last 15 mins and then another person gave us our credit card back to sign after the 3rd person took it. We also got some yummy salted caramel cookies at the end :) I had forgotten about those. They used to have them just sitting out for everyone, but alas, covid. read more
