I just can't believe we've never been to Chelsea's before today!!! And now we're hooked! The friendly hostess greeted us and promptly sat us at an inside booth which was nice since it was a bit muggy on the patio. Kassie, our waitress, showed up next to take our drink orders. I just want Kassie as a best friend! She's so sweet We both had the yummy iced green tea that had a subtle hint of pomegranate. Husband, Phillip, ordered a cup of the roasted red pepper soup to start and I just had to get the skillet cornbread served in the cutest cast iron pan. This should be everyone's go to! Trust Me :-) Then Phillip ordered the Blackened swordfish tacos, which were so carefully prepared and plated! Another yummy go to! And I ordered the soup and Brussels sprout salad (minus bacon). The salad was so pretty and plentiful with these long, slices of parm over the top and yummies all through it! Every bite GONE! We both took home the icebox chocolate cake and had our sorbet while talking to Kassie. My Phillip kinda shared our life history together and Kassie was so sweet to listen to our story of 26 yrs together and the 22 years difference in our ages...I guess I'm the cougar but really, he chased me! :-) We will definitely make Chelsea's Kitchen our NEW FAV!!! This place had a gorgeous outdoor patio! Lots of pretty trees! The downside was that leaves kept dropping onto us and our food. I got a Caesar salad and a French dip sandwich both of which were very good! The sandwich was super flavorful and perfectly cooked! Would recommend! read more

Moved here a month ago and I've already been twice! The first time I had the Brussel sprouts salad with shrimp and a white sangria! Both were amazing! This is not like it used to be . Food was awful. They made my med rare hamburger twice, both times med well, so I switched to salmon. It was Ok, nothing great . Staff friendly here and service was prompt and good. Some colleagues wanted to eat here and I agreed. I pulled up to the lot and asked to self park and valet guys were nice and just removed a cone for me. I don't like valet, just like to do my own thing. Nice outdoor patio space with heaters available so I stayed warm throughout dinner. Happy hour goes until 6pm, nice! I had a lager on draft from here. My dining companions both had wine. They ordered cat fish tacos and I chose ahi tuna tacos. Food was decent but nothing to write home about. Nice place to make business deals and enjoy the outdoor patio when weather is nice. It's been several years since I last visited Phoenix, so I decided my first meal had to be at Chelsea's Kitchen. As you walk to the front door, you get your first whiff of that exquisite wood-burning rotisserie and grill that adds delicious flavor to their meats. You can almost judge a restaurant by how yummy it smells. Chelsea's website describes the restaurant as a roadhouse celebrating the cuisine of the great American Southwest. Although we didn't have a reservation for lunch, we got our name added to the wait list via their website. It probably didn't take more than 15 minutes once we arrived before our name was called. It was a beautiful day in early February, so we got seated outside. Between the sun and patio warmers, it was a perfect day for dining. Beyond its excellent food, Chelsea's has an awesome wait staff. They are super attentive, experts with the menu and oh so friendly. We started with multiple Prickly Pear Margaritas which put us in the mood for a great meal. The Tuna Tartare and Guac is a perfect starter, made with sashimi grade tuna. And since I'm ahi fan, I had to go with awesome Sushi Grade Ahi Tuna Taco platter. Chelseas's Brunch food is excellent. I'm a big fan of the green chili burger as well. Don't be afraid to order it medium rare. It has grown on me to be one of the go-to neighborhood spots. We split the kale and quinoa as a table for an appetizer and it was good. Veggie tacos and veggie burger were good, but the stars of the show were the roasted veggies and fries. Huevos rancheros and the kid meals were good, too. Kid options were pancakes, PBJ, grilled cheese, fish plate, Mac n cheese and a thing or two more that were forgettable to me. The key lime pie with strawberry sorbet and chocolate cake with pistachio ice cream were delicious. Service was great and the space was so cute. I love Chelsea's Kitchen! I've been a few different times, all for dinner. I like the deconstructed taco plates and the prickly pear margarita. The fries are also very good! The service here is so friendly and the staff always give good recommendations. The decor makes it feel like you're sitting in a giant living room/dining room, and the atmosphere feels very warm and cozy. I've never sat outside, but hope to do that one day! I'd recommend Chelsea's as a date spot or for a quiet dinner with friends/family. Valet parking is free, just be warned that there are always people at Chelsea's. Where do I begin... had the deviled eggs as an appetizer. Amazing as they had a slightly stronger mustard taste. The prime rib sandwich was decadent. The bread toasted with a thin layer of mayonnaise and slices of prime rib. The crispy iceberg lettuce was perfect on the Caesar salad. Sat at the bar, which has seats inside and on the outside, for lunch on Saturday. Service was good but slow at times. The deviled eggs were the star of the show. The Brussels sprout salad was good and the burger was also very good. Tried both vodka based cocktails which were both enjoyable (the Fresca one being the best). Stopped into this place on a roadtrip to northern Arizona. French dip was pretty basic, could've done with a spot of horseradish or cheese to kick it up a both. It was outshined by the kale slaw. A citrusy slaw with a very fresh flavor profile. The green chile burger was good, but definitely for the purists. The patties are freshly ground and made in house. I found it lacking of seasoning and too thick to get a bite of the accompaniments to add flavor. My husband liked it though. He likes pure beef flavor so o guess it's all up to your plate. My husband and I live in Phoenix, and have gone to Chelsea's kitchen usually for dinners over the past 10 years. We went last night and we find that the food has been disappointing. I usually get the salmon... its never hot and the plate was literally a piece of salmon and potatoes with a few beets... no garnish, no lemon, no spice, nothing...except a lot of white empty plate which doesn't even look appetizing...for the price its not worth it. My husband got the swordfish taco plate which was ok, better than mine. At least the drinks were good, but sorry to say we will no longer be going there. read more

A perfect serene spot with great food. We entered through the outdoor patio that actually had customers comfortably dining in 110 degree weather. We decided to wait in the bar area for our daughter to arrive. The Arnold Palmer with green tea was delicious. We decided on the Ceviche for an appetizer while we waited. Cold and fresh with nice size shrimp and crisp tortilla obviously made in house. Later my husband enjoyed the burger (but said it could have used a larger bun). Daughter and I had salads and I had to steal a taste of her salmon which as perfect it's so easy ruin a nice piece of salmon. The service was excellent. Daughter suggestion for Chelsea's was A+. I visited Chelsea's Kitchen for the first time today to celebrate a birthday, and it was an amazing experience! There were six of us in the party, myself being vegan. This restaurant turned out to be the perfect choice as they had a few vegan options for me. I ordered Ethan's Vegetables Taco with a side of fries, and I must say, the portions here are HUGE! The fries were served on what felt like a dinner plate, and they were absolutely some of the best I've ever had. As a french fry lover, I was impressed by the delicious seasoned coating, the perfect crispiness, and the variety of sizes--everything about them was spot on. Ethan's Vegetables Tacos are deconstructed and were served with 4 corn tortillas (but it's enough to make maybe 8-12 tacos so ask for more for leftovers). The tacos were AMAZING!!!!! Even better as leftovers. The ambiance inside was warm and inviting, with beautifully designed country-esque decor and patio seating as an option. The service was excellent--attentive, patient, and accommodating to our group. I highly recommend Chelsea's Kitchen and will 1000% be back! This kitchen kills it!! First off, Fantasia was our server. She was incredibly friendly, professional, and always had a smile on her face. She was hands down one of the best servers we've had in a long time. The food was phenomenal. My wife is a bit picky, and was having a hard time finding something on the menu. She chose the branzino fish sandwich. The filet was huge and seasoned perfectly. She could not stop talking about it. I had the short rib Tacos. Best short ribs I've eaten in a long time. Savory, tender, and delicious. Next was the birthday dessert. Wife loves red velvet cake, so chose that. The slice was huge and served with an amazing giant scoop of vanilla ice cream. Fireplaces, heaters, strung up lights, and a delicious wood burning smell definitely got my attention. One person in our group and our server highly recommended the short rib tacos, which they're known for. I couldn't get over how good the homemade corn tortillas were. They actually held together and perfectly complimented the pico, guacamole, and amazing tender short ribs. The sauce was so good too. Went on a Sunday afternoon, valet parking only (why?), about half full of diners. Ordered the Prime Rib French Dip. Came with seasoned fries that tasted like they were rolled in Lawery's Seasoning and sugar. The meat had a lot of connective tissue and fat that should have been trimmed for a sandwich that costs $30 bucks. There was about a third of the bread roll that didn't have any meat on it at all. The au jus was so watered down and stretched thin, it hardly had any beef stock flavor. I asked for a side of horse radish and I got some flavorless creamed white sauce instead. I also ordered a house margarita that was obviously made from a mix, but hey, what did I expect for a $16 drink? Girlfriend had shrimp tacos. She said they were "good" but only ate one (about the size of a street taco). $80 + a $20 tip (service was excellent) for a sandwich, 3 street tacos and a mix drink. - NOPE. read more
