    Veggie Delight Pizza
    Hiral D.

Love the name Cheesy Pizzi. This was good but a bit pricey for decent pizza. It was very cheesy indeed. We got the chicken pesto and veggie delight. They were good, and satisfied my pizza craving but I prefer some of the pizza spots closer to me. I wanted to try something new and thought it was good. Next time, I'd like to get the Pide.

Although the pizza was tasty, one sausage per slice is unacceptable!

On Saturday night, my friend & I decided on the best Philly cheesesteak I've had in the DC area, South Street on Cordell. Turns out they were closed due to someone backing up to the gas line. Remembering having Pizza Tempo once and being good, I suggested that. We walked to Wisconsin Ave to discover that was now Cheesy Pizzi. We walked up to look at the menu posted on the window outside. My friend & I just wanted to split a 12" pizza with sausage since it was about 10 PM. When we walked inside, the cashier greeted us. It was a stark, barren use of space in the front area. Perhaps, it was due to the cashier's thick accent, but we thought he said a much larger dollar amount, but he clarified it was $11 & change. The pizza was prompt, and it tasted relatively good although I remember I enjoyed Pizza Tempo a bit more, but it was still good. My complaint with this pizza was that there was barely any sausage on this pizza. It was basically 1 sausage per slice except for the lucky couple of slices that had 2 sausage on it. I expected that the one-topping would more cover the pizza. So, that was a big disappoint to both my friend & I. In my opinion, they really needed to put a minimum average of 4 pieces of sausage per slice to be acceptable. We also both commented, if we had known there would've been so few sausage, we would've just gotten cheese pizza & saved the $1.50 or so for the one topping. My friend said that he would try this again trying pepperoni as the one topping to see if it would've covered more of the pizza. I'm sure the pepperoni would've covered more because the surface area of pepperoni is much larger than sausage. However, I still think it would been 1 pepperoni per slice.

As for the folks who rate so highly the pizza at Cheesy Pizzi, WHAT PLANET ARE YOU FROM?!! This was the worst pizza I have ever tried. Don't my photos say it all? This is clearly not a pizza place. What is that stuff all over the outside of the crust? Cornmeal? I usually share my takeout pizza slices with my dog, and he wouldn't even eat it. I warmed it up in the microwave when I got home, and the cheese didn't even soften. I would give this place one star instead of two, except that the people who run the restaurant were so friendly. So much for using high ratings to choose a decent lunch.

White pizza with pepperoni, 7 inches (lunch special).

This is my second time coming to this pizza place in under a month. The texture of the crust wasn't soggy or greasy and the quality of the cheese was great. I really love their white pizza with added pepperoni. Today, my husband and I got their lunch special which is any pizza on the menu (7 inch) and a soda all for roughly $10. To me, the portion was great and I really feel like they take their time to ensure the Ingredients are tasty and the preparation is fresh. The owner is friendly and kind. I got the impression that he really considers quality over quantity. I definitely recommend giving this place a try!

I was hungry after work one day so I figured I'd stop in here to get a pizza. The location was very clean, small and cozy, with the news playing on the TV. I ordered a small (create your own) pizza with three different types of cheese and roasted garlic. My total came to $15. I was shocked at that price - but the owner (I'm assuming he was the owner - he could've just been the cashier) went over it with me, and long story short - if you're a cheese/garlic lover like me - it'll cost a bit at this place. I sat down in front of the window, and when my food came out, the cashier brought me silverware and a cold bottle of water. I wasn't expecting that - so it was a very nice surprise. The pizza portion was huge! To me, quite worth the $15. It also tasted divine. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. The customer service was good, the restaurant was clean, and most importantly the food was good! I would love to come back one day.

Before I even took a bite of my food, I began to jump on here to review this place. The customer service was so appreciated! I placed an order to be picked up bc it's literally across the street from the hotel I'm staying. Little did I know it would start monsoon style raining, so I called and asked if they'd deliver. They did and the driver wouldn't take my extra tip. Oh and the pizza and Bakvala was fantastic too!

This used to be Pizza Tempo!! I loved Pizza Tempo! They have changed the menu a bit but most of the items are similar to the old menu. They also told me they would make stuff of the old menu if you ask them too because they know how to do that. We tried the kale bbq chicken pizza and chicken Paradiso sandwich. Pretty good but next time we will probably go with the original stuff. We will try more stuff of the menu but probably try one new thing and go with our usually favorites. So glad this pizza place is still around! The meat is halal.

I was stuck in back to back meetings, and opted to have a small Supreme Pizza delivered. The pie was delivered without being sliced. I was starving and had a limited time before having to jump on another call. I ate it like a savage and didn't bother slicing it up. Not the most attractive sight but the pizza was tasty.

Ordered from here as a delivery. The food showed up cold, but I'm not scoring them based off that. The pizza was thin, where I typically like a thick crust, and there was hardly any pizza sauce, if any at all. So it tasted like thin crust with a small amount of cheese and whatever adds on we had. It was just a bland dry meal that wasn't worth the $50.

Burnt bottom crust... I had to throw both pies away what a waste of money. The pie tasted terrible and you can taste that it was burnt.

Our waiter was very nice and we were not real interested in appetizers. The bread they offer is so fresh with a wonderful crust. My colleague ordered garlic bread, but I'm not a fan of that. I ordered the shrimp Parmesan. we had the veal piccata ordered by another person, two lasagnas and more real dishes. Every dish was exceptional flavorful and well made. DO NOT GET THE CARBONARA!…read more (I was craving carbonara tonight) I got the - -Spaghetti carbonara -veal francese -garlic bread -small side of parmigiana cheese Prices were somewhat high Portions were medium The carbonara was very bad. Completely solidified when I tried to eat it I stuck my fork into it, and the whole thing pulled out of the container at once stuck together. It has a bunch of caramelized in it, some of which were burnt. You can visually see solidified, egg yolks, and egg whites. This is the worst carbonara I've ever had in my life (I've eaten carbonara hundreds of times) The veal francese was very good, crispy, flavorful, and had 1/4 a lemon to squeeze on it. The butter pasta it came with was good as well. The garlic bread was ok, large raw chunks of garlic on top of oiled toast. The small side of parmigiana was good, good cheese quality and more than I thought I would get. Keep in mind I did get this delivered. I called the restaurant and told them about the order. And they said to call them next time I order and they would see what they can do. I have to say they have good service. And I have nothing to say as far as ambience.

What an amazing lunch!…read more I'll start by saying I have been to Olazzo before, but today's lunch was special. I was introducing my girlfriend and my mom to each other. The host was so friendly and helped get us seated in a booth, and very shortly after seating we were greeted by our server Josh. Josh was very polite, and I felt good vibes before the food ever hit the table. He recommended their special, a trout on pasta dish. The entree had a very generous portion of fish, and our server made sure to drop off everything we needed to accompany our food, extra cheese, water refills, he was attentive and took great care of us. Next time I dine at Olazzo, I'm going to be looking for Josh!

Hostess, gentleman who seated us, and our server were wonderful. The food wasn't the best ever but it was good. We decided to give it a shot despite low customer ratings. We are Black Americans. When we walked in I picked up on a negative vibe but dismissed it. When you walk into a small establishment and it get's quiet or you get the looks turn and no one speaks turn around and leave. There were a few people at the bar chatting up staff (regulars). As we walked by the bar headed to the table I glanced over to the what clearly was the person in charge. I smiled no response. We eat, I head to the ladies restroom. I passed the same gentleman who, again looked directly at me, I smiled and he turned his head. I passed by him on the way back to the table. I specifically looked him the face and smiled. He looked at me and again turned his head blatantly. We are aware of prejudice so I didn't let him get under my skin. I smile and speak to anyone and am happy to do so whether it is reciprocated. It takes negative energy to be mean spirited. Willing to take our money but refuse to acknowledge us as paying customers. We spent quite a bit for two people. I will not recommend this place if it was the last Italian restaurant. To the owners- I could not tell if you were the person I encountered today or a manager. Either way- Just Wow.

The crust is burned in some places and undercooked in others, like it couldn't decide which level of failure to commit to. The toppings are a random mess--onions tossed like someone sneezed them on, olives rolling around like loose change, and sad green peppers that look more boiled than baked. Half of the pizza looks like it gave up halfway through cooking, and the other half looks like it survived a house fire. Pepperoni? Barely there. Cheese? Patchy. Sauce? Overpowered by bitterness from the charred crust. Honestly, this isn't a pizza--it's a crime scene in a cardboard box. If you want to know what disappointment tastes like, order this. My family and I are always looking for a new pizza spot to try and AP was the right place and the right time. I'll talk about the space for a minute. It's a small pizza place. It's not meant for groups. They have maybe four or five tables. This is more of a quick bite or grab a slice at the counter before the movies kind of place. If I can wrap up the vibe and the decor in three words, I would use modern, hipster and clean. I kind of dug the feel. It has a tiny bit of grit to it and that's more than I can say for most of Bethesda. So because we started with a group of four eventually joined by my brother-in-law's family of four, we ended up squeezing about eight people into a small booth. This was by choice. But they were accommodating. I wouldn't recommend this place for groups, but the service was outstanding and it felt like an A+. Here what stood out from our order. They have mixed drinks on their menu and if you have an old-fashioned on your menu, I'm going to try it. I really enjoyed mine. The focaccia bread with garlic butter was incredible. I highly suggest you try that if you're gonna come in. Of the two pizzas we got, I thought the plain pie was better than Tony's pie. Ordering food, whether you're sitting down or taking your food to go is also really easy. They have self-serve kiosks and I'm all for that. Back to the service, as I was ordering our food through the self-serve kiosk and the staff was more than happy to give their two cents or answer any questions about the menu. I don't have any real negative notes. I know I gave 4 stars, but there are no fractional ratings on Yelp, unfortunately. I would say somewhere around 4.25 was my gut score. I'll add that going to a restaurant one time does not paint a complete picture. I'll probably come back to try more items. I recommend you give it a try.
