    Samosa

Cheesewalla is truly a beloved institution. The alley entrance is magical, and the indoor area you can enter from is always quiet and chill, with plenty of tables to enjoy at. We order the Samosa, pbc+j, and bbq mac grilled cheeses. Each one is delicious in its own way. The cheese is always at the right ratio. The samosa is wonderfully spiced, and comes with three different dipping sauces, just like actual samosas. I am anti cilantro, but the other two sauces pair so well with it. The bbq mac has a delicious barbecue sauce and tender beef. All three sandwiches could've used more filling; there was a ton of empty crust leftover that did not get eaten. Other than that, very satisfied with our order!

I went during happy hour and the garlic fries were really good and the beer you could get any on tap. The service was really good as everyone was friendly and nice calm music to have a drink.

I came here for happy hour and it was a very positive experience. The decor and ambiance is like your typical bar- nothing out of the ordinary. The food came out quickly and i got the zucchini fries. They were a good sized portion and tasted amazing. I also got a mango margarita and was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely one of the better margaritas i've had in the area.

My wife and I love cheesewalla and have been coming here since moving to the area four years ago.My wife loves the pizza grilled cheese and it's a great sandwich....if it weren't for the fact that lately (as in like for the past 2 years) they almost ALWAYS forget to include the marinara sauce. I placed the order over phone for pickup today around 5:30pm and the young lady that helped me even asked me if I wanted the marinara sauce on the side, and I said yes. Still didn't get it! I guess it's on me for not checking but like seriously come on! The side sauce is like a staple of the sandwich! Really considering not going anymore. Love this place but figure this out please.

Find Cheesewalla in the Orange Street Alley of Downtown Redlands. They have a good amount of grilled cheese sandwiches to choose from, and there's a separate bar area if you're in the mood for a cold one or two. They also have juices, soda, and lemonade. You can choose to dine inside in the hallway, outside in the alley under the colorful umbrellas, or inside "BarWalla." The service was quick, and prices aren't bad at all. The portions are very generous. My Mushroom Swiss was perfect, and the tots were nice and crispy. The lemonade was good, not too sweet or sour. The food here is made fresh to order, so you KNOW it's gonna be a party in your mouth! The bar staff was friendly even though I didn't end up ordering any alcohol. Parking wasn't too bad in the middle of the day. I would go back for sure. Wish there was one closer to me. Try it out if you're in the area. This is a great place for IG worthy cheese pull opps! =)

Delicious! Recommend the BBQ Mac and cheese with a side tomato basil soup! Dip it! Chefs kiss! Nothing beats the outside side ambiance.

Make sure you have specify indoor dining. The ambiance is relaxed with upbeat music playing in the background. It's a great place for a date. We ordered an espresso martini, house ricotta, pan seared salmon, and alla lori pizza. Everything had so much flavor which is what surprised me. Portions are decent. The bread that came with the house ricotta had so much flavor and they served a generous amount of ricotta. The carrots with the ricotta surprised me. It was so delicious that I ate them by itself. The alla lori pizza was my overall favorite. I never thought of adding honey to pizza. I will come back for the pizza alone. Perfect blend of sweet and savory. The service was super friendly and fast. 5/5 star review Espresso martini: 8/10 (strong coffee taste) House ricotta: 9/10 (wish it came with more bread) Pan seared salmon: 9/10 Alla lori: 10/10

We ended up having a great time, good drinks, good food, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. After we left, we were gone for about four hours when I suddenly realized I had lost my wallet. I was completely frantic retracing my steps, and something told me I might have left it at the brewery since it blended in with the outdoor furniture. I called and spoke with the owner, who confirmed they did have a wallet, though she wasn't sure if everything inside was still intact. That made me even more nervous because I had about $1,000 in cash in it and was on my way to the bank earlier. When I returned, the same gentleman who had helped us with our food and drinks carefully verified my identity before handing it back. To my absolute relief, every single dollar and every card was still there. I just have to say it's rare to come across that level of honesty and integrity these days. Huge thank you to the staff at Escape Brewery for being such incredible, trustworthy people. Truly a reminder that good people and good karma still exist. We'll definitely be back

When I started this draft a few months ago, I originally had this at a 4 star review. I liked that…read morethey were super dog friendly, that I could just buy a bottle of bubbles for $19 with some orange juice, and I liked their redlands cheesesteak (minus mushrooms and aioli). It was a chill place for me to come and service was fine - you order at the front and go ahead and pay or keep your tab open. If you want anything else, you need to go back to the front. Pretty much get left alone by the staff, which I enjoy. However, today I did what I usually do, got a redlands cheesesteak, a bottle of bubbles with orange juice, and just read my new book for my book club with my pup next to me. They did originally make my cheesesteak with mushrooms, but took extra time to make me a new one and added a side of fries to compensate for the long wait since they had to make it twice. Cheesesteak was good as always once I got it. Bubbles were good with some juice. Still would have left a four star review at this point. Unfortunately, I was literally minding my own business sitting and reading my book with my pup when this couple next to me starts arguing. The angry older man waves his hand as he's yelling at his gf(maybe wife idk) and proceeds to knock over his gf's newly poured glass of beer which spills all over me, my book, and my dog. As an initial reaction, I did say "dude, wtf?" which I think is a normal reaction to having beer spilled all over me when I'm literally minding my own business in my own little book world. This guy literally decides to start screaming at me that he's "sorry" but my reaction is ridiculous and proceeds to call me a c*nt. Really great apology calling me that offensive term for women. I'm telling him not to call me that and he's the one that spilled beer all over me. He starts getting even more aggressive. At this point the guy behind the bar is telling me to leave and get away from the screaming guy. I've already started grabbing my stuff before he said that as me and my pup did not need to deal with this BS on our day off. I didn't even finish my cheesesteak or my bubbles - just left it all on the table. I tell the guy behind the bar that I didn't do anything wrong, I'm leaving anyways, but don't understand why they are letting this guy stay. He just says that he'll talk to me after I "calm down" away from the bar. So I walk away from the bar and he doesn't follow me. I literally have to go back to the bar and say "I'm ready to talk to beside the bar. are you coming?" He says okay. I walk over to the side and he walks over with me saying he "doesn't know what's going on." Doesn't even bother offering me a refund when he totally saw the whole thing go down. I ask for a refund because this is ridiculous and he does give it to me after I ask - still think it should have been immediately offered not waited til I asked. I tell him exactly what happened and he just says look, I'm not kicking you out, but how about you stay on the side over where the arcade is and the guy that screamed at me just stays where he is. I'm like, dude I don't want to be here anymore so I'm leaving either way, but I don't understand how you are just letting this guy that spilled a beer on me then called me a c*nt stay here. He says that he's probably gonna kick him out, but idk if he actually followed through on that as I just walked out. I'm severely disappointed in how this was handled and how unsafe this place made me feel - clearly they think the screaming white man is correct and the asian woman is just being hysterical. I used to come here all the time, but this one instance makes me never want to go back here again. I'm really upset how in today's world, this is the norm. That somehow, after being called a c*nt and having beer spilled all over me, I'm the bad guy? Never coming here again. Biggest disapointment of a brewery in Redlands.
