I didn't realize the boba tea was blended, like a milkshake. I'm used to it not being blended so just something to note! The butterfly tea was tasty and refreshing, I liked the jellies in it. The corn dog was also tasty and quite filling. My favorite thing I ordered was the mochi donuts - they were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Placing an order in person to-go took 20 minutes, but my order was small. It may be a longer wait because they do uber eats/grubhub, etc. Food: Hands down the egg rolls are amazing. I will be back for them. Super crispy and the filling was great. The spring rolls were another story. They were as a big as my forearm. They were impossible to eat they just fell apart picking them up. One of the shrimp inside was barely cooked and I just quit eating them after spitting that out. The ingredients inside the rolls are unbalanced (sooo many shredded carrots), the cuts in sizes of the meatballs were huge so that everything ripped through the rice paper, the rice noodles were overcooked, and the sauce was so thin that it didn't stick on the rolls. I'll probably try another item or two off the menu the next time I order their egg rolls and update my review then.

ACOCA Cafe & Roastery -- Apparently Appleton got hipster while I was gone…read more Came back to my old stomping grounds for HS reunion week and somehow ended up having one of the most interesting breakfasts of the trip. ACOCA immediately gives off that independent coffeehouse/artsy/creative energy you don't necessarily expect when you're remembering the Appleton of your younger days. We all ordered the Bagels & Lox with salad, and I'm not gonna lie ~ that plate looked damn good. Fresh lox, colorful veggies, pickled onions, greens and an everything bagel. Add some quality coffee and you've got yourself a pretty solid morning. The space was spotless, the service was friendly, the drinks were good and the atmosphere was genuinely cool. But let's talk $$$. This was the priciest morning meal we had in Appleton, and one person in our group felt the price was a little high considering you have to put the sandwich together yourself, and only one of us was given a small ramekin of salad dressing accompanying our meal. Also we wish the bagel was slightly toasted instead of just a sliced everthing bagel. Still, I'd rather pay a little more occasionally for a place with personality than eat somewhere completely forgettable. ACOCA definitely has personality. Would I return? Absolutely!!! This is more my vibe for morning eats & cold/hot brew (Coffee/tea) that is Brews. Views. Food. Sometimes the journey takes you somewhere that doesn't involve beer.
