Delightful shop with delicious bakery/breads/sandwiches. Go...you'll be so happy you did!

Staff were extremely nice, they greeted us as soon as we entered the building and offered us free samples of bread. There were so many delicious options to choose from. We ended up getting a pack of scones for the family. A four pack of scones cost nearly $20 and while they were good, they were not worth the price. Definitely has delicious baked goods and breads, I just wish they were a little bit more affordable. read more

As always, the take out sandwich I got from Great Harvest was excellent. Everything was fresh and the sandwich itself was well made (e.g. meat, cheese, etc. all out to the edge of the bread). The cookie I had for dessert was a guilty pleasure (peanut butter chocolate chip). As much as the quality of the food was wonderful, the staff were better. I meet Kevin the owner at the Appleton farmers market. I was looking for cinnamon bread for my daughter. They were out of it but he told me to call him on Sunday his day off and he would open for me to get my daughter the bread. That was the best customer service I have had in a long time. I have driven through this town square maybe 10 times now and it's always very busy and like the place to go in the am hours when I'm there so I decided to pull into a parking spot and see what's there. I just came off breakfast so a restaurant will not do and I'm not out shopping so is there something for me here. Great harvest bread looked like some place that I could stop at and grab some local items to take with me. The place is a trendy bakery filled with trendy people but the whole square has this vibe. The place has home made bakery items from breads, dog treats, muffins, cookies etc with soups, sandwiches and a coffee station. Seating is limited but it's a nice space with exposed brick and wood floors and that small town country charm. Samples of the days baking was for the taking before you bought anything if you wanted. The artisan loaf of bread was out because I will not finish it before it goes bad so I grabbed a fresh made cinnamon roll, something I never buy but it was small enough to get eaten before it goes bad. This gluten free jambalaya soup mix was colorful and interesting looking so I grabbed that too, a dry mix to be used later but it might be good. The cinnamon roll was pretty tasty with a dense texture and a sweet icing follow through to finish off the taste. The dry package jambalaya was ok with some salad size golf shrimp, smoked ham, whole jalapeño for heat, little smokies, dashes of hot sauce etc to build it up. Was it the best ever, no but it was tasty and way better than a can and it didn't take long to prepare and cook with a few fresh ingredients. This was a nice little place to stop at and spend some time while grabbing some local items to take with me but it would have been better if I planed it and had lunch or something. read more

Stopped in to see the store and tried their feature sandwich, cheddar, apple, bacon on honey wheat. It was excellent! Staff was friendly and helpful and the smell of fresh bread filled the air. We will be back to try some more of their goodies. read more

I've had to start purchasing my loaves of bread and pastries here since the location on Northland Ave (OO) has closed (heartbroken). The bread is no where near as fresh. The place is clean and the service is friendly, but the product lacks. If I would have never had the other locations product, I am sure I wouldn't know the difference, but I was a frequent customer (every week), and my tastebuds' mind has been made. Looks like I am going to have to start trying new bakeries again to find a new spot. read more

I just had the best cinnamon roll of my life. Wish I could've tried everything! When you first walk by, the heavenly smell compels you to enter. There are so many wonderful fresh choices! The coffee selection is Collectivo and very delicious. They also have fresh and local grocery product for sale. The employees are friendly and the atmosphere and decor is very welcoming! All of their breads and treats are very yummy! They have a sample tray of their various breads, cookies, and treats for the day. They will happily offer you a sample that they slice fresh. They have a sandwich menu as well as a few soups. They also have a kids menu (grilled cheese, PB&J, ham/cheese). Their little shop also includes some soup mixes, etc. Fun place to stop! read more

I like the products at all of the Great Harvests I've been to. The breads are amazing. The sandwiches are amazing. The cookies and pumpkin bread are amazing. This location is on par with the quality of the food, but the service is just a little lacking. It's not bad, it's just not what I'm used to at other locations. This is where I go to for bread even though it's a little out of the way; I'm okay with driving an extra 10 minutes to get amazing bread even when other bakeries are closer. read more

Very busy when I stopped in today. Everyone behind the counter was very friendly. I think I may have had the best Salted Caramel (cookie) item I have had so far. The balance between sweet and salt was perfect. My friend had the cranberry orange scone and said it was perfect. He loves his scones. Said he will go here instead of Panera from now on. read more

Visited for lunch on a Friday. The line was long, but moved quickly. Our food was absolutely delicious - it was obvious the bread was recently made and that their ingredients were all fresh. We also got a package of eight chocolate chip cookies that were awesome. Some of the top cookies ever. Would highly recommend this Great Harvest Bread for a quick lunch or for catering. read more

I was thrilled to see a new branch was opening up in Appleton just a mile from my house. They truly could charge for the aroma alone. The people here are super friendly. They offer you a large sample of their products available that day. Sometimes the parking is difficult, if not unavailable. I had a cinnamon roll which was just okay. In my opinion, it seemed to have needed longer time in the oven because it was sort of "peaked". I like the fact that they'll sell you a half loaf. Their breads are really good, except if you get there too early in the morning. Then you get their "day-old" bread; but the price is not reduced. I think the price should be REDUCED for "day-old" bread. It definitely is not the same as bread that was baked fresh that day. read more

I love bread. And cookies. This place has delicious bread and cookies. It is very dangerous! The menu varies from day to day, and it changes each month, so be sure to check out their website. In past summers, they have set up at the Oshkosh Saturday Farmers Market, and I hope that they will continue to do so. My favorite is Popeye bread - especially for grilled cheese or paninis. It has a little kick to it. I also love many of their cheesy breads, and their cinnamon breads. Staff recommendations have never steered me wrong! read more

One of my favorite local lunch stops. Amazing sandwiches with fresh ingredients. Make sure to try the club sandwich- it's my favorite! From the delicious, fresh baked bread, to the crunchy bacon, it's truly top notch. I have never had a bad experience here, and the service is amazing. When I'm in Neenah, I always make sure to swing by and either grab a meal or a loaf of bread. I can't recommend enough. read more
