Our server was really nice but the food wasn't good. We ordered and then the server kept coming back out to tell us they were out of various things on the menu. The Monte Christo was dripping in oil and it tasted like oil instead of food. The chicken pot pie was ok but not worth the $. The ribs had good flavor. The steak was overdone and not medium. We were there wayyy too long. They need more help in the kitchen as they were struggling and the restaurant was empty except for one other table. read more

We were on our way to Colorado from North Carolina when we stopped at Cheddar's. The food was great and the service was even better! They seemed to be fully staffed and the teamwork was impressive. We are still handling out unemployment in NC so good service is almost nonexistent there. Three weeks later and a wonderful vacation behind us, we again stopped at Cheddar's on our way home. The service was excellent again. I ordered the lemon pepper chicken and it was a bit over cooked. I didn't say anything to the server. When we got our bill, she had removed it from the bill. I questioned it and she said that the chicken looked dry so she comped it. Keep up the good work! read more

Tried there the other night and food was okay but the help and the management leave something to be desired.The poor girl they stuck behind the bar was not a bartender, she acted like she didn't want to be there and for a place that wasn't busy service was slow. they need to make some changes if they hope to make a go of it read more

Tried Cheddars in Paducah tonight... our waitress was so high she didn't know if she was coming or going. Got our apps pretty quick. Waited forever for salad.. then a fight breaks out. Like an actual fight. I think a server attacked her table..not sure exactly but a brawl ensued. Manager comes over to apologize and says they want to take care of our meal. Several people came to check on us - but never our server. One man asked if he could get us to go drinks & we explain we are still waiting for our food. Still haven't gotten our salads. More craziness & commotion. Finally police came and get the offending parties outside. Still no salad. Our server makes it by. We have been here over an hour & we ask for our salads. She brings back 2 house instead of one house, one Caesar. No worries, easy fix. But we never get the Caesar salad. Hour and a half.. entire kitchen staff is in the dining room, we aren't getting our food so we get up to leave. Our server flags us down, she has our food to go. She waits while I rustle up some cash out of my purse. I was planning on tipping on my card so I wasn't prepared and only had $6 cash. She stood there waiting for more but I grabbed up the food & left. The burger wasn't right. Still no Caesar salad. But we did get out unscathed so I'm calling it a win. read more

Its a Tuesday kinda early -ish for dinner.Walk in at five pm. I see a family on the benches, the baby is starting at the fish tank. I assume the girl was just taking a break from eating. Nope,only two servers for the dinner rush. Now I read in other states this happens ,but didn't think a new restaurant would have problems. Ten to fifteen minutes wait. My bar order...out. My husbands bar order ..out. I settled for coffees [surprise IT WAS GOOD] As was my husbands unsweetened tea.The rest so sorry to say goes downhill.Chedder cheese curds for app. All we could taste SALT. Tried to figure out breading?cheese?dill dip? I'd say yes to all. I figure how can you ruin a cheese burger.It was cooked smashed style so med cook came out too well done. Bun was old.And the meat was grisly. My side was broccoli souffle and thr first bite sent me into coughing fits. So dry yet mushy, and how do we make that taste less? I ate paste with more flavor.Husband didnt fare any better. Steamed broccoli mush. Ribs had silver skin on back which made only top meat eatable.
