We decided to stop by Cheddars for dinner and walking in we were seated immediately. When you walk in there's lot of seating and the lighting is nice and low. We were greeted by our server who was super friendly and attentive. He took our order and gave us some delicious croissants. We ordered the Spasagna, and the Salmon with Shrimp & Veggies. A friend and I stopped by Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen for an afternoon outing. It had been years since I'd eaten there, so I was looking forward to it. I ordered the bourbon glazed salmon and shrimp. The salmon is served over rice and I got corn and a salad as sides. I requested my salmon blackened with the bourbon glaze on the side, but when my meal arrived, it didn't look or taste blackened. The presentation looked rushed. The portion seemed to be on the smaller side as well. The Painkiller drink is my favorite and its usually a must have. This time around I found myself wishing I had ordered a regular margarita instead. The drink looked good but didnt taste that great. The restaurant wasnt too busy but our server was overwhelmed. He forgot our rolls a few times, drinks took longer than expected, and he mixed up our separate checks. He split the total in half instead of charging what we ordered individually. When asked if it could be corrected, he wasnt sure how to fix the bill and suggested leaving it as is. That would've been fine if our meals cost the same. My friend's total was $5 more than it should've been. To make things less complicated she made that the tip. We assumed he was new so we gave him a break. The restaurant looked clean and well maintained. Our booth didnt appear to be cleaned very well. It was very dark and we were seated next to the kitchen. Staff members kindly moved us after we asked. Overall, this visit was a miss.. I've had good experiences at Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen before so hopefully this was just an off day. I'm wiling to give them another try in the future. read more

We arrived at 6:30 p.m. and were seated promptly, which was a great start. Unfortunately, we didn't receive our drinks until around 6:50 p.m., and that's when we were finally able to place our food and appetizer order. By 7:00 p.m., our kids' meals and appetizer had arrived, but by 7:50 p.m. we were still waiting for our entrées. We rarely saw our waiter during that time, so after waiting over an hour for our food, we had to ask for the manager. The restaurant wasn't very busy, which made the long wait even more disappointing. The manager did comp our entrées, so we only had to pay for the appetizer and kids' meals, which we appreciated. However, the overall service experience was frustrating, and unfortunately, we won't be returning. read more

Cheddars is known for its croissant rolls drizzled with butter. You get complimentary ones to your table and it will take every once of will power to not order more. THEY ARE SO GOOD. My go to here is the meatloaf or the Monte Cristo. There are not a lot of places to get a Monte Cristo anymore but Chedder's does it perfectly with light powdered sugar and raspberry jam to dip it in. Easy to split with someone. The meatloaf comes with two sides and is very filling as well. I love the summer margaritas as they feature watermelon. I love watermelon and a fresh slice with anything will get me to order it. Don't sleep on the chips and queso. The salsa it comes with is smoky and delicious. The vibe here is semi loud but not overly so with tasteful decor that is not overbearing. Just go for the house-made freshly baked croissants they serve you for free if nothing else, JK! Truth: they melt in your mouth and the butter is warm, runny and delicious. False: you should still order food or even more croissants! I absolutely love their whitefish dish! You get two large filets and two sides and very reasonable cost of $14.99. The salmon is also good for about a dollar more. 10/10 recommend their broccoli casserole as a side. Everything is made from scratch, excellent and hearty portions, and friendly service! read more

Went after church and they did have a bit of a weight 1520 minutes, which is it too bad We were helped quickly. The restaurant is usually pretty clean. We were sat right away and the ambiance was not busy at all in fact I have photos of the staff hanging out conversing. We sat at the table for about 15 minutes before the server came to greet us. We gave him our drink order and our appetizers. The drinks came fairly quick. Apps came in at a decent pace. The croissants came out midway through Apps and it was cold.. wonder what took so long???? It took about an additional 15 to 20 minutes for our meals to arrive, but they were tasty. So all in all what needs to be adjusted is someone needs to have a better control of their staff? We're just sitting around and could be doing things that are more productive. I do however have to say once our Server Jeremy came he was attentive throughout our dinning. Previous review dated 6/2/25 Always a super looooong wait. But the food was tasty and our server was ok. It did take for him to hear me talk to hubby asking what's taking onions rings so long. They came out and were cold. He didn't check on us until we were almost done with the cold onions rings. I came for lunch on a Monday with my mom and grandma to this Cheddars. We were seated right away and our waitress was very kind and attentive. The booths we sat in were very comfortable! We had a mixed bag when it came to the food. Our croissants were served cold and overcooked. I ordered the half rack of ribs and they were dry and overcooked. However, the queso and homemade chips were delicious as well the broccoli casserole! My grandma said the salad was just okay. At the end of our meal we used two gift cards to pay for our food and our server told us they covered the full amount and were all used up. I asked her how they could be used up if the amount was $43 and we had a giftcard total of $45? She went to the back and gave us the giftcard that still had $1.71 left on it. I think even if it's a small amount of money that it should be given back to the customer for them to decide what they want to do with it. read more

The food is almost always amazing. I love the complimentary croissants at the beginning. They're always warm and tasty. This time I got the steak and shrimp. They accommodated my request to have it butterflied so it cooks more evenly. The scenery is nice as well. We went to cheddars for a Friday night dinner to celebrate a special occasion. It was clean and a mix of rustic and modern decor. Although it was busy the service was great and friendly. The drinks were a great price, delicious (and strong)! We ordered sirloin steak MR and chicken tenders with ribs. We really liked the honey lime tender sauce. And at the end, we were surprised how little we spent in comparison to some other options out there. I try to support local when I can, but this was a great experience. I was excited to go to Cheddars with some friends over the weekend. The server was very kind, the interior design was gorgeous, the atmosphere was so calm and good for a larger party. I got the White fish and veggies, while my friends did a variation of the tender meal. For the most part I enjoyed my food, but did think the carrots were overly sweet. Also, one my friends tender & fries dinner was brought out cold. Lastly, the service was slow and that was odd because the place wasn't packed. Overall, I still enjoyed it. I ordered Grilled Shrimp Alfredo, shrimp are well seasoned and it was a good portion. Sweet carrots for my side were tender and lightly sweet which is good. Homemade onion rings are crispy and big size and portions it was good for everyone. Honey croissants was delicious, soft we order one more. Hi. Loved that restaurant in the past. So what is happening? Last time I posted I wrote a glowing review a few months ago. This week on Wednesday, ok but not great. Today: no water, had to go looking for help repeatedly; baked potato stone cold; mashed potatoes sort of ok but not like they used to be; broccoli/cheese veg horrible; even the green beans that i loved were not the same and quite tasteless. Worse experience ever. I ordered a to go meal. Once I got home (20 minutes away) I realized all my items where not packaged. I contacted the store to let them know what I was missing and they requested I return and they would provide extra for the inconvenience. Instead, they accused me a walking out on the tab. How could that be possible if I never entered the store during my order, the food was brought to my vehicle, and I was charged when the order was placed. If I had not paid the tab before hand, the food would have never been brought to my vehicle. I was recharged for the meal after a long wait of back and forth (two pending charges are now on my account). The managers were of no help. Blaming the cashier saying she was new but in all reality that speaks volume of your training as management. Common sense would tell you, if I dashed on an order, why would I call back about not receiving my food and come back to the store to retrieve missing items. My corporate career is not worth me dashing $60 and charges potentially being pressed. I guarantee if I was of another color, things would have gone very different. read more

There wasn't a host at the host stand so it took a while to get seated but once we were, we received good service. They brought the table a complimentary crossiant each which was warm flakey and delicious. I ordered the chips, queso and salsa as an appetizer. The quest was on the thick side while the salsa was pretty standard. I didn't enjoy the chip too much as they weren't freshly fried. I got the chicken fried steak with mash potatoes and broccoli casserole. The CFS tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The two side were good as well. We arrived and we were told we would have to wait for our table to be ready. We did see people cleaning off a large table. After waiting 15 minutes, we were seated. When we arrived to the table to our surprise, our warm honey butter croissants were already at the table. Our waiter was Joelvis J. He was also training a new employee. We ordered PainKillers, Frozen Maui Margarita, and a beer from the bar menu. The drinks were delivered quickly and were delicious.
