Cheddars use to be my favorite place close to my house but no more. Now is just another chain restaurant completely new staff at least on a Saturday note my server was very nice and friendly but they bring my coconut shrimp first and my daughther food 10.minites later and I want to eat w her so I wait and my shrimps r freezing cold but nobody ask what happen. Wow what a find Cheddar's is in my neighborhood.. Food was delicious and the service top notch. We had the full rack ribs and they were the best we've had in a long time. The Monte Cristo sandwich reminded me of the ones that I have had at Disney. read more

Waiter was very nice but it seems they were shorthanded since he disappeared after serving appetizers and did not return until end of meal (even though we asked server to call him for us). Would recommend: Chips and Queso very tasty. New Orleans pasta was delicious, not too spicy. Chicken tenders were great. Could not eat appetizer dip. It was like cemment. Chips would break when dipped. Was able to turn plate upside down and dip did not move. Sent dip back. Waiter offered to bring a fresh dip, but since it was end of dinner, it did not make sense to request a fresh appetizer. So The Wife and I decided to finally pay a first time visit to Cheddars. We literally live a mile away if that. Wanted to wait till I saw other reviews and the kinks get worked out. We went about 1pm wasn't busy or crowded. Instantly greeted at the door and seated. Our server came over about 5 mins later for our drink order, wish I remembered her name but she gave exceptional service, I almost feel like I didn't tip her enough. We didn't do any appetizers this time but went right for entrees. My Wife ordered the coconut shrimp with fries and Cole slaw. I got the ribs and grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and baby carrots. My wife said the coconut shrimp was good the same as if we got the from red lobster. I was surprised by how big my baby back ribs were, it was a half slab I'm guessing and I couldn't finish all of them, brought the rest home for dinner. They were tasty and the sauce was pretty good, I didn't have to add any extra. The mashed potatoes and carrots were good as well. No desert this time but we will save that for the next trip. As we didn't get any alcoholic drinks this time there was a cheddar painkiller on the menu that I have to try. I would have given cheddar 5 stars but I thought it took too long for us to get our food despite it not being busy at all, we waited a good 40 mins or more for our food to hit our table after placing our order. read more

Came in today to have lunch with my husband since they just opened on 2/1...too much hype for what we got, they are not enforcing masks, we were stunned when we saw two ladies walk in, one was wearing a mask, the other was not, the host asked her to please put on a mask and she completely ignored him. She sat to wait for a table a few feet from us and she never put on her mask , no one else asked her to either. I was shocked. Once seated , we ordered lemonade and our waitress said they had run out , they gave us watered down tea, the food was nothing to brag about and we had to ask the waitress for everything from salt and pepper to straws, they brought me a Caesar salad with a cold fork inside the salad. Overall save yourself the money. My husband said first and last time he's eating there, much rather had gone elsewhere. For their first week , I say no thank you. Left very unsatisfied. read more

I really wanted to like this place. Heard many mixed reviews but decided to give it a chance. Service was good, hostess greeted me with a friendly smile, and sever was attentive. However, that food was not the best. Honey butter croissants were ok, didn't understand the hype of them. Spinach dip was also ok. My chicken was super rubbery which left me very disappointed. This spot is a great addition to the current restaurants in Kendall. The service was great and the food and drinks were even better. The country fried steak with the broccoli casserole was amazing. Marcel brought us the croissants and they were just heaven!!! Orders included blackened salmon, bourbon glazed salmon, sirloin and 8oz filet. There wer 5 of us in the party and everyone was very pleased with our meals. The only issue 4 of us had was the broccoli casserole was not hot but just a little warm. Marcel offered to bring us all fresh and hot ones but we were actually all ready to have to-go boxes. Everyone was already full, LOL. Service is negligent at best and despite trying it on 3 seperate occasions and ordering diverse things on the menu this place couldn't make me believe anything is made from scratch here. The burger is flavorless, the chicken Tenders taste like no thought went into making them different & flavorful, they overcooked my Fiancé steak twice, but I will say that the Ribs are the show stopper here. The sauce is great & the croissant is a nice touch. But to be honest 1/3 visits being good experience safe to say Cheddars is not for me. read more

Was wise enough to show up on a Sunday afternoon and was able to walk right in. Cheddars is a very down to earth place. Simple food, paper menus, and a bar with some signature drinks. We had the chips and queso, coconut shrimp, chicken tenders, cheese fries, and a HUGE piece of chocolate cake. All were very good. If you like chicken tenders then this is the place for you!. OOOOH and let us not forget the fresh butter croissants with that sweet drizzle on top! YUM! Our waiter was great and very attentive. The only drawback of the experience was a waitress vacuum-cleaning a section next to us while we were eating. I could have done without that. The 3 steaks I never ate. The ambiance was great. Low lights and professional customer service. The server/hostess were amazing and bubbly. Very down to earth people. HOWEVER, I ordered the steak and ribs combo. And the steak i requested was medium rare. I got a well done steak 3 times. Only to be told it was the cut of steak and that's why it wasn't the right color and the inside was brown. One of the steaks was so cooked it didn't even bleed, had no bounce and it cut like a porkchop it was so dry. I ordered a strawberry Texas swirl and they over poured on the alcohol. So I switched it to a frozen watermelon drink. Except they brought me the wrong drink. So by the time my guest had a full meal I had eaten 2 ribs, French fries. Still had no steak and drink and settled for seafood. Grilled shrimp. Which good on them shrimp was amazing it was properly cleaned and seasoned I loved it. But even the rice it was on was oily and sweet. Which is fine but like oh my. Which still doesn't even go into the salad I returned for the appetizer. I spoke to the manager on duty and gave my constructive criticism I don't know how well received it was. But the server was amazing and the only thing that is actually retaining customers. I'll visit again in 3-6 months and revisit this. So we'll see. read more

The prices are great. But it is nothing fancy. The place is clean. Sanitizers on each table. The booths are separated by tall enough wood. The waiting area did it look covid safe because people congregated waiting for tables and not the staff fault as they have the option to call you when your table is ready. I love the drinks and the complementary croissants. The only problem was the food. I got it cold. The server very pleasant, but i did not eat my food to take it home to warm it up. I might go back just for drinks but not to eat. read more
