what can I say, always a good time at cheddars. the croissants are always the star, drinks are good and strong and that spinach dip is undefeated.

Santa Fe Spinach Dip - good but nothing special

I don't usually review chains but I had to since it was my first time in Texas, and this is a Texas chain! They bring out a free plate of honey butter crossaints for every table, these are so warm and taste absolutely delectable. Very addicting and dangerous! Our table ordered the santa fe spinach dip, this is a four cheese deep with spinach, has a strong spinach taste. Good but nothing special, my friends really like this appetizer so they always get it but I would probably pass on it next time. I got the chicken pot pie for my meal. The chicken breast pieces were abundant and actually really tender and not dry which I appreciated, however the actual roux inside was a bit plain and didn't have much flavor. The vegetables were tender and didn't taste frozen though, and the flakey crust was delicious! Good for the price, but I wouldn't get it again because of the lack of flavor in the roux. Good prices, I would come back to try their other items on the menu if I'm ever in Texas again. The service here was really really slow though.

I have to start by saying we had the best customer service that we have had in a long time. Not only did Pooh make sure that we had everything we needed. The recommendations were on point. We ordered some cheese curds and Pooh knew that they didn't look up to the company standards so they made sure we got a fresh batch. My food was hot and soo good. I had to force myself to save some for later even though I didn't want to. The drink was good and enough for me to share with my husband. We knew that we were going to have good food. But Pooh made our experience amazing! We will be back!

I really enjoyed my first time visiting a cheddars, the interior is very chill and relaxing. We were sat down pretty much immediately and that helped the mood a lot. Now as we sat down our waiter got our order down fast, soon after our food came out. Now a few things were missing like my gravy and someone's ranch at my table but it was brought out immediately. The food was super hot and fresh and I was super appreciative of it! Our server was fantastic and made our stay here for the few hours welcomed! Would def recommend.

My wife is a fan of Cheddar's, it's one of the few places she can get a Monte Cristo. we visited this location for her birthday and glad we did. the food was good as usual and The prices are reasonable for what you get. Obviously like in all things not all locations are created equal and even though this one was a hit there are a few around the Dallas area that are in desperate need of quality control so depending on the location you visit your experience may vary. *Poor *Decent *Good *Great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Food. Great Service. Great Cleanliness. Good Consistency. Good Variety. Great Value. Great Shrimp Basket

Oh my goodness, let's start with the beginning, when you sit down you will receive fresh baked croissants with honey butter to start. Let me tell you that this right here is, 500 times better than Olive Garden's little breadsticks compared to these big, crunchy steamy croissants. Our server Jen, took care of us, the whole 9 yards. Great recommendations! Great family atmosphere. Honestly can't wait to go back. Jen got me hooked on the rolls and Broccoli casserole! Will 100% recommend, and can't wait to see you again soon. WARNING: You will crave the rolls the next day.

Food and Server was great. Seem like the portion sizes decreased but overall food was fresh and service was great.

The interior is spacious, fun, and modern, with a fantastic looking bar. Our server explained their specialties and frequently stopped by to check on us and fill our water. We started either the biscuit donut bites, which were generously dusted with cinnamon sugar and had a fantastic chocolate dipping sauce! My fave plate was the server rec of chicken biscuit sliders. The biscuit is delicious, fluffy, and moist. The chicken was AMAZING!! Super juicy with a great flavor. The brine in the chicken was fantastic. Fries were hit and perfectly crispy as well!

From the moment we were seated and she greeted our table, her attitude came across as rude and unwelcoming. The entire meal felt rushed. She brought out our appetizers, but then immediately took away our appetizer plates, leaving us with nowhere to put our food. Throughout the rest of the meal, she rarely checked on our table. What made the experience even more disappointing was watching her provide attentive, friendly service to the table behind us. She regularly checked on them, boxed up their leftovers, and made them feel valued as guests. When it came to our table, she simply handed us takeout boxes and bags and expected us to package our own food. We have dined at Yardbird several times before, and the staff has always boxed up our leftovers, so this treatment was unusual and disappointing. Another concern was that an 18% gratuity was automatically added to our bill. According to Yardbird's policy, that gratuity is typically added for parties of six or more. Our party consisted of only three adults and two children--a total of five people. We were never given an explanation for why the gratuity was added. The difference in how our table was treated compared to the table behind us left us feeling uncomfortable. While I can't know the reason for the difference in service, it certainly felt as though assumptions were made about us before we were ever given the chance to show otherwise. Our family always tips well for good service, and had we received the level of hospitality we've experienced during previous visits, Jayda would have received more than the automatic gratuity. This experience was especially disappointing because it was my daughter's birthday dinner. We've always enjoyed Yardbird in the past, which makes this visit stand out for all the wrong reasons. I hope management looks into this so that no other family celebrating a special occasion leaves feeling the way we did.

Six boudin balls and banana pudding. Starting with the dish that was the least appetizing, the garlic toast/ bread had no garlic spell or taste just butter taste. 2nd least favorite is the expensive banana pudding . I have had much better banana pudding with no bananas from another restaurant. I would have rather had more than 5 mini vanilla wafers instead of the cool whip topping . $7.99 for that never again . The French Quarter dish was dropped off it was received warm from the doordash dasher . Everything was seasoned well , the shrimp etoufee is a tad bit spicy but it isn't overwhelming. I wish they provided at least two catfish fillets instead of just one . . I didn't want any hushpuppies but there is no choice to decline them. Boudin balls are good. I am from Louisiana been living in Dallas-Fort Worth over 24 years now . I enjoy well cooked cajun meals . Portions large enough for leftovers

And what…read morefollowed was a core memory in three courses and a complimentary Bloody Mary shot accompanied by the cutest green olive. The moment we walked in, it felt like home, but not in the "kick off your shoes" way. No, this was the "you're safe here, baby" kind of home. The vibe? Cozy. Elevated. Like Restoration Hardware met someone emotionally stable. Elliott was our server and an absolute delight. Joseph was the manager, casually spreading joy like Oprah with a tray of Bloody Mary shots. Amber... now let me pause here, because this woman deserves a paragraph of her own. Amber isn't just a GM. She's the kind of soul you meet once and never forget. When I asked for her to come to our table just to pay her a compliment, we both practically teared up. She received it with open arms, no ego, no deflection, just pure, gracious presence. I was mid-sentence and suddenly I had that Creed song stuck in my head. You know the one. "With arms wide open..." That's the kind of energy she brought to the entire restaurant. Amber made every person in that room feel like they mattered. Not because it's her job, but because it's who she is. She's fresh off earning her master's in hospitality, and if that degree came with a crown, she's wearing it. The Porch doesn't just run smoothly. It runs on Amber energy. But let's talk about the moment I saw God. Cornbread Eggs Benedict: Not crab. Not salmon. Corn. Bread. And not just any cornbread. The softest, fluffiest, most cuttable cloud of golden glory I've ever had the pleasure of annihilating with a fork. A fork, not a steak knife. Do you understand how rare that is? Normally I'm out here sawing through an English muffin like I'm in a lumberjack competition. This? Melted like butter. Tasted like a hug. 12/10. Incredible. And then, as if the eggs benny enlightenment wasn't enough, Joseph reappears with a tray of free Bloody Mary shots for the entire restaurant. With olives. For everyone. The joy? Immediate. The energy? Electric. The crowd? Unified. I watched a grandmother at the next table raise her glass like the queen she is. I nearly cried. This wasn't service. This was a masterclass in human connection. Restaurants can be transactional. Robotic. This was the opposite. This was care, intention, soul. My high school principal once said: "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little bit of extra." The Porch brought extra, bagged it, garnished it, and served it on a tray. Final thought: If you're not brunching here, I'm concerned. If you are? I'll raise my Bloody Mary shot to you. And Amber, if you ever run for mayor, you've already got my vote. I'll run your campaign and show up in a custom t-shirt.
