We started with the fried pickles. They were flavorful and came out hot. My daughter enjoyed her kids steak bites and apple sauce. The apps:started with the brisket queso and I was surprised how much we liked it. It could have used little more brisket; but overall very tasty queso. It had a bit of pico de gallo on top too. Comes with chips. The steak: I had the renegade sirloin with shrimp. He had Flos filet. It's no lie because Flo knows steak ! His steak was better hands down, very tender and juice - and he ordered his well done. We go to Roadhouse frequently but may have to come here instead. The other star of the show: Mac and cheese bacon. It's as good as it sounds. The salad: very good salad, they use the premixed lettuces and all was fresh. I hate old lettuce. Ranch was on point. To-go: we took home the strawberry shortcake and cheesecake. I liked both but the kid said her favorite was the cheesecake. Side note: my shrimp and his corn on the cob were very salty. But we are willing to give this place another chance just for the steak.

How is a steak house already out if baked potatoes not far into lunch time?? The service was not great, we had to flag our server down every time we needed water or drink refills. It was so tough you couldn't bite through it. Not sure that we will be returning.

The staff is so friendly and seems like a family. The prices are 10% under comp eateries. It's as if the owners took the best part of all fine dining and combined them. Here it is a relaxed but respectful environment with food that you would think comes from a Michelin rated spot. The clientele is eclectic and younger. I'm 47 so I am not like those around me but can see the client base. I'm not sure if it's the minimal menu (please take this as an anti Cheesecake Factory comment) or the items compliments that are setting it apart. What I mean is the steak by itself is amazing. Truly a top 10 steak (ribeye at $48) or the accompanying sauce that it setting it apart. I advise take two to three bites from different stations of the meat. Then take the same bites with their paired glaze. Make your own decisions. You aren't telling the full story if you didn't pair it with a great house Bonanza cab (actually on happy hour except for Fridays). The verdict. This place will be one I will always take clients to when visiting Dallas. The verdict on me is that I'm a steak based reviewer so I might be wrong on all other aspects but the only likely wild card here would be the salads and seafood. I'm not here at a steakhouse for anything else. My wife can write that review. Last PS is that Dave the bartender is nice and accommodating and will let you explore the space . He is matter of fact but possibly could be a friend if not already to all. Watching Dave now live with his regulars says that he balances all customers very well. Negatives. Parking is just slightly odd. There is plenty of it and valet is free to customers. Let's not worry. No rush to get here at 5. The regulars and common come in around 6 as all others do on a Friday (this was my second night after being here for Thursday) Food has arrived. App is the carpaccio and holy shit wow. Not some boring small plate that exudes poor people suck. It's above average size like it should be . I'm not sure why the garlic bread is hear other than a nod to old school. My steak is in a to go box (nicely wrapped with utensils and yes that matters when you travel). This is my steak and if it sucks I'll remove the review. I'm kidding as it's a to go. This is a real world review. I do one long review every few years.

The breakfast potatoes for 2 of us that ordered them were DRY, over seasoned, and COLD. Obviously it was brunch being served but the potatoes were not fresh. Not pictured was a hamburger with sweet potato fries. The sweet potato fries were overly salty, but they gladly made a fresh batch with no salt. This was our 3rd time here and probably our last. The first 2 times were amazing but now not worth the time to drive here or the $ for less than stellar food and service. There was nobody at the hostess station and several separate groups of people left after not being seated. Our bill was $74-ish for 4 meals. Pepperoni pizza was not worth the $17 and was not tasty. We had 3 waters and 1 iced tea.

Seriously. 1) the service is top tier, super friendly AND it's all family operated 2) the meats were seasoned to perfection and you can tell immediately when you taste it that it was all marinated well and cooked with lots of love! They customize the meat to your liking in terms of cooking preferences without any commentary about the way YOU like your meat. This was big for me as a well-done only eater with texture preferences and not being patronized with sassy comments for my personal tastes when I'm paying for it. My partner likes his quite the opposite, more traditionally prepared, and they HAPPILY accommodated both of our preferences! We had picanha, ribeye, sirloin, garlic steak (forgot the cut), lamb and of course grilled pineapple. There were chicken and pork offerings too that we were too full to try. I didn't get lamb at first until my partner tried it and raved about it being sooo good. So I gave in and tried it and it was so bright with flavor like fresh lemon and herbs and was tender with no gamey aftertaste! It is indeed the best lamb we have ever tried to date. Please don't forget the chimichurri sauce from the salad bar to pair with your meats! It's so fresh and flavorful, perfect to set off the grilled charred meats. They give each of you a card for you to signal to the servers if you have the green side face up that you are ready for more, or flip it to red side face up to signal you are passing on being served more for the time being. 3) the salad bar at first glance looks small but it is mighty, packed with yummy options. I had potato salad, fresh beets, marinated cucumbers, olives, candied bacon. My partner had Cesar salad, tomato soup went nicely with the cheesy bread, and other things I cannot recall. There were more selections available that we didn't have room to try, but looked equally delicious and fresh. 4) they do serve wine and dranks if you imbibe. 5) they have done well with the ambiance and interior decor for the space that it is. I don't remember which day it is, but they also have live music there one day a week. 6) we paid $40/person all you can eat during dinner service. They offer lunch service M-F as well for $25/person - great deal! 7) we went the day after my partner's birthday and our waiter brought him a huge slice of cheesecake with Happy Birthday written on the plate - on the house! 8) please note they are closed on Mondays 9) they also offer catering services 10) this was the best Brazilian steakhouse experience that I have ever had personally, my partner agrees and we will definitely be back soon!! The food was superb. The beans were the most seasoned I've had in the city. Robust and absolutely delicious. The rice did not disappoint either. This tex mex is something special. The chicken fried steak was fine. A good standard, but nothing to drive out of your way for unlike the enchiladas. We really want to come back for the brunch buffet. About $30 and full of freshly made options. We were there closer to 3pm near the end of service and they were still putting out fresh food and maintaining it. Super rare to see that. We started with the Smoking Barrel, mixed with rye, Peychaud's, Angostura, peach bitters, orange peel, and smoked mesquite. The fresh popovers served alongside the first course were airy, warm, and a standout touch on their own. The fried calamari was crisp and tender, served with remoulade, marinara, and grilled lemon. The braised tenderloin hummus was equally well-executed, topped with chili oil, onion ash, and green onions with warm pita. For the mains, both cuts of meat arrived cooked to temperature and seasoned with precision. The 6oz filet mignon came paired with cacio e pepe ravioli, while the 12oz ribeye was served alongside asparagus and marbled potatoes. The wine pairing selections matched the steak courses well without overpowering the plates. Dessert closed out strong. The banana pudding featured a rich banane du Brésil custard, vanilla wafers, and toasted coconut, while the chocolate tart balanced dark chocolate over a hazelnut crust with peanut butter mousse. Food and service were top tier from start to finish. Five stars, and we will be back.

The food was decent. I enjoyed my lamb chops(although more rare in spots), but not the mix that was underneath it. The two that got the salmon said it was ok, a bit overcooked and they also didn't care for the mix underneath. The filet was stupendous and the cowboy was really delicious.
