Amazing food and great customer service. Diego was our server. He was nice and friendly. 10/10

Definitely not a 16 oz ribeye

Waiter got app wrong. No biggie he was apologetic so I was okay with that. I ordered a 16 oz ribeye and was given a cold strip. I cut it to see the temp and it wasnt a medium rare either. When I complained the manager offered to take half off. It would have been nice to at least get the steak that I ordered or was charged for seeing as if its more for the 16 oz ribeye vs the 10 oz strip. I'm so disappointed and I never return food or complain at restaurants. I definitely won't be back.

We had a craving for steak, not the high-end, dress-up kind, just something solid and satisfying. We've been to this Saltgrass location before, and from what we remembered, it left a good impression. So we gave it another go. The decor is exactly what you'd expect from Saltgrass, western, rustic, country-themed. Nothing new, but it fits the brand. The service this time around was good overall, though not quite as sharp as our last visit. Everyone was friendly and polite, but there were a couple of hiccups with the order, items we asked for didn't show up until we mentioned it. Nothing major, and we didn't make a fuss, but it's worth noting. We got there just before dinner rush and were able to take advantage of their early dinner menu, which definitely added to the value. We ordered the Queso Fresco with Brisket, the Steak & Shrimp, and the Wagon Boss Center-Cut Top Sirloin. On the side, we had the Chicken Tortilla Soup, Caesar Salad, and of course, the complimentary bread and butter. The food? It hit the spot. Good flavor, cooked well, and honestly, for the price, especially with the early dinner deal, it was a great value. If you're after a straightforward American steak without all the upscale extras, Saltgrass continues to be, in my opinion, one of the better picks among the steakhouse chains.

Chicken tortilla soup was mid. Lacked flavor.

This place is fun, reasonable prices and tasty items. Love happy hour and the people I meet here. Bartenders EXCELLENT Kelsey is so friendly and attentive. The food is good, sometimes you have to send it back and get it corrected. Tim the manager is very friendly also. I just love going for the crowd and Mecca also at the bar is great. My friend had been raving about the garlic lamb chops so I finally decided to order them. I had the lamb chops with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The lamb chops were pretty good. What an absolute hidden gem in Mesquite!!! Mesquite isn't known to have the best dining options and…read morethe location is easy to dismiss as being good quality, but oh how wrong we have been! Seriously. 1) the service is top tier, super friendly AND it's all family operated 2) the meats were seasoned to perfection and you can tell immediately when you taste it that it was all marinated well and cooked with lots of love! They customize the meat to your liking in terms of cooking preferences without any commentary about the way YOU like your meat. This was big for me as a well-done only eater with texture preferences and not being patronized with sassy comments for my personal tastes when I'm paying for it. My partner likes his quite the opposite, more traditionally prepared, and they HAPPILY accommodated both of our preferences! We had picanha, ribeye, sirloin, garlic steak (forgot the cut), lamb and of course grilled pineapple. There were chicken and pork offerings too that we were too full to try. I didn't get lamb at first until my partner tried it and raved about it being sooo good. So I gave in and tried it and it was so bright with flavor like fresh lemon and herbs and was tender with no gamey aftertaste! It is indeed the best lamb we have ever tried to date. Please don't forget the chimichurri sauce from the salad bar to pair with your meats! It's so fresh and flavorful, perfect to set off the grilled charred meats. They give each of you a card for you to signal to the servers if you have the green side face up that you are ready for more, or flip it to red side face up to signal you are passing on being served more for the time being. 3) the salad bar at first glance looks small but it is mighty, packed with yummy options. I had potato salad, fresh beets, marinated cucumbers, olives, candied bacon. My partner had Cesar salad, tomato soup went nicely with the cheesy bread, and other things I cannot recall. There were more selections available that we didn't have room to try, but looked equally delicious and fresh. 4) they do serve wine and dranks if you imbibe. 5) they have done well with the ambiance and interior decor for the space that it is. I don't remember which day it is, but they also have live music there one day a week. 6) we paid $40/person all you can eat during dinner service. They offer lunch service M-F as well for $25/person - great deal! 7) we went the day after my partner's birthday and our waiter brought him a huge slice of cheesecake with Happy Birthday written on the plate - on the house! 8) please note they are closed on Mondays 9) they also offer catering services 10) this was the best Brazilian steakhouse experience that I have ever had personally, my partner agrees and we will definitely be back soon!! Please go support this fine family run restaurant that serves so much love in their craft!

Excellent local spot's take on the Brazilian steakhouse concept: like Fogo or Texas de Brazil…read morethey'll have a rotating server staff coming by to slice off delicious food for you. Ambiance: They would benefit from new pictures because the restaurant is actually much prettier than these pictures suggest - dim lighting, wine bottles cleverly used as decorations, etc. of course the space isn't that big and I had to sneak past people a couple times while waiters were slicing off meat, but then again you have the same experience at Fogo, which is typically a much bigger location with much more seating. So no points knocked there. On the whole the food is actually much tastier than Fogo, which we were able to compare/contrast nicely since we went there just the week prior. The garlic sirloin was overwhelmingly our most popular choice as well as the choice of the two tables nearby us. Don't sleep on the chicken however, and the grilled pineapple with sugar is super tasty as well. Salad bar equivalent was much smaller than Fogo's, but it's actually better. Not like that matters anyway, since the meat is the main attraction. Service was superb. We came in on a busy New Year's Eve with a reservation, and were able to be seated promptly. Staff was all super nice and friendly. You won't ever worry about the servers not attending to you, and one younger server was particularly diligent with our water refills. Thanks! Finally, value. The price is much better than Fogo's, and you're getting an overall better experience in exchange. You can bet that I left a nice tip! Overall an amazing, relatively lucky find. We will definitely be back and hope they enjoy great business for years to come. Thanks for giving us a special new local stop.

From the moment you walk…read morein, the atmosphere is clean, chic, and effortlessly cool -- and let's talk about that playlist... absolutely bomb. The music set the tone for an unforgettable night! I loved seeing the steaks and oysters beautifully displayed, and the open kitchen was such a nice touch -- watching the chefs in action added to the whole experience. Our waiter was phenomenal -- super accommodating, attentive, and made us feel like VIPs all night. We shared the cowboy steak ($72) sliced for two and WOW... perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. Every bite was a moment. The sides to choose from ranged between $16-$18 We ordered the creamed spinach and it was rich and delicious. The wedge salad was fresh and satisfying. The corn brûlée? A crowd favorite -- everyone at the table was obsessed! The only miss for us was the mac and cheese -- good texture, but it didn't leave a lasting flavor impression. What truly made the night special was the energy -- the experience felt personal, warm, and inviting, making it the perfect place to celebrate my sister's 30th birthday. Wicked Butcher didn't just serve a meal... they created a memory. 10/10 would recommend for celebrations, date nights, or when you just want to feel fancy and fed.

Food - 4 Service - 3…read more Ambiance -4 Went on a Tuesday night while visiting from out of town and decided to give this place a try. The restaurant was practically empty, so we sat in the bar/lounge area. The host and other staff were friendly. Our waiter came off a little smug at first and barely cracked a smile. He honestly seemed a bit annoyed that he had to wait on us, which felt very unfriendly. My friend managed to get him to loosen up a bit as the night went on though, so maybe that's just his personality. To his credit, he was very informative when it came to the main course options. The lighting was dim and intimate. Ambiance was simple and modern. I ordered the sea bass and my friend ordered the beef Wellington. Honestly, after tasting my fish, he ended up enjoying my sea bass more than his own dish. The sea bass was like butter, just as the waiter described it. If fish could fall off the bone, this one would have. It came with rice, cashews, and a ginger miso sauce. The cashews added a really nice crunch and texture and the flavors worked really well together. I thoroughly enjoyed it as b the only downside was the portion size. Like a lot of nicer restaurants, you get one small piece of fish... about the size of my pinky finger. My friend's beef Wellington, on the other hand, was just okay. He didn't say it was bad, but it definitely didn't stand out, especially compared to the sea bass. We also ordered potatoes as a side and the white truffle Caesar salad. The salad was good and the truffle flavor wasn't overpowering, which I appreciated. The potatoes were solid too and paired well with the meal. Dessert, unfortunately, was not it! We ordered the Wicked Sundae. Our waiter had actually recommended the banana pudding or the chocolate tart, but we decided to try something else. We probably should've taken his advice. The sundae tasted mostly like ice cream and was missing the main part of the dish -- the brownie. Nothing to run home about, and it also happened to be the most expensive dessert on the menu. Definitely not worth it.
