I come to Cheddars probably once every couple months but we enjoy it every time. It gets busy on the weekends, especially during the peak hours but we've never had to wait more than 20 mins. I've only ever gotten the chicken tenders or chicken tenders and steak platter, they're so good I can't be bothered trying anything else. Cheese curds are great as well. Service is usually top notch. Restaurant was a little warm one evening. I don't think the AC was working. When we said something they offered to move us to another table which was nice. read more

Cheddar's is our new favorite restaurant for excellent quality meals. We've been here twice within a week. The second time we bought guest and they absolutely loved it! Both visits there was a wait time. Our first visit was a 45 min wait, which was a Sunday afternoon. Second visit was on a late Saturday evening and the wait was 20 mins. Once we got seated our server greeted us within 5 mins with a plate of their honey croissants, one for each of us, and then took our drink order. First off, those honey croissants are AMAZING!! We enjoyed them so much we had to order more, both visits! For our meals, we ordered the chicken tenders platter, half rack of baby back ribs and chicken fried steak. The food didn't take too long to come out and everything came out hot, fresh and ready for our bellies. Each one of us enjoyed our meals and had nothing but good things to say about it. This one is a tough one to review and unsure how fair it is at this time. I will have to gi again and update, but an experience is an experience nonetheless. This was day 1 of opening so I am sure there are kinks to iron out. We came in to a 15 min wait at 5 PM, which was fine. The waiting area is very cramped and tight, which is fine to give more seating. Restaurant was warm, bright and inviting. Lots of smiling faces. We waited about 10 minutes and we sat promptly at a high top in the bar. Server came within seconds and greeted us with a huge smile. We ordered are drinks and she answered all questions we had. We asked for a couple minutes to check out the menu. Drinks delivered promptly and then we didnt see her for about another 15 minutes. Not really sure where she disappeared to, but no big deal. A couple people posted about getting honey croissant, we didnt get that. Not sure if error or they did it due to long time for food. We ordered our food a salad and an appetizer. We ordered a chip and queso and that took about 20 minutes to come out. When it arrived out chips didnt have that nice golden brown color, but more a oil soaked color. The presentation wasn't great, but it tasted good. So whatever. Roughly 25 minutes later our entrees came. The salad being dropped off about the same time as the entrees. During this whole time my ice tea had been empty for about 40 minutes. I asked our server for a refill and she forgot. I think her actual station wasn't near the bar as we were the only table I noticed her helping. Since it is a new opening there are extra trainers and managers all over the place. In fact I saw at least 2 employees with trainer labeled on their shirts walk by, look at my empty drink and carry on. Managers walked by as well without refilling. Finally my drink was filled just after our entrees were dropped off. The dinner was pretty good. My wife God the pot pie and loved it, I got the chicken fingers and my son got the bourbon shrimp skewer. Overall the entrees turned out good with my wife's only complaint being far to much seasoning on the shrimp for her taste. My son loved it. So also not a big deal. Another server coming by prevussed our table and chatted it up with us for a bit and he was very kind. Overall experience was ok. Food good, but the server being AWOL, lengthy drink refill, and length of time for appetizer and entree makes me give 2*. I will try again after they have some time to iron out the kinks, frankly should have known better than to go day 1. read more

We all agreed yesterday. It is our new ritual. We will always meet up with my ex-mother-in-law at Cheddars when meeting her or taking her to lunch. After another tasty meal, we decided we will continue to meet at Cheddars instead of changing it up and meeting elsewhere. We have tried other places near her house and in the area over the years, but we have all decided that Cheddars is the place to meet up from now on going forward! It is always a great experience! The place is always packed, but somehow they deliver on all levels every time! I'm "hooked" on the blackened white fish meal! No pun intended! LOL! My ex-mother-in-law ordered it too this time instead of her usual choice of the chicken pot pie. She was happy the entire time she was eating!! I was too, as I also ordered the blackened fish! Their tartar sauce has a zing and flavor matched by no other tartar sauce that I have ever tasted!! It takes the fish to the next level, for sure! The fish meal comes with TWO sides AND tasty rice, plus a large portion of fish AND the complimentary bread. It is a great value!! I must say that I will switch it up next time to try the chicken breast with mushroom gravy! I'll report on that next time!! Do NOT miss out on the broccoli casserole as one of your sides!! Broccoli casserole is what I order as my TWO sides!! It is unique and tasty, and I cannot get enough of it!! I am not even really a fan of broccoli! I rarely eat broccoli! Others ordered a variety of items. Everyone was happy!! We also (as always) ordered the chips with queso and salsa. It is enough for all of us to enjoy at a fair price! The prices are good for the quality and quantity of food!! The menu has a great selection! I always have a hard time deciding what to get because I am torn between so many choices, and I am stuck on my favorites!! We enjoy going to Cheddars! We will be back soon! read more

Maybe scratch this one off your wish list. My family really enjoyed this place, but I wasn't very impressed. Decor is pleasant, full of artificial plants. There is lots of natural light and the table, windows, and floor were clean. Staff was friendly, appropriately dressed, and had a good hygiene. Our order came rather quickly and was correct. The complementary rolls were bland. My steak was well seasoned but half of it was over cooked. Broccoli casserole was very good. Coleslaw was bland. The best thing there was the coconut shrimp, I could easily eat 3 pounds of that. Overall, I was not very impressed and don't think I'll be visiting again. Thank you Cheddar's. read more

We went here today for lunch. We're always saying we're going to go and usually end up not wanting to drive more than 10 minutes from our house lol but today we finally made it! This time I was able to take some pictures of the amazing food we had. They start you off with their delicious buttery croissants with icing. For my meal I ordered the grilled salmon with bourbon glaze on the side. It's so delicious! My husband had the country fried chicken breast. He said it was very good. He was not however impressed with the southern fried green beans, he said they lacked flavor. Other than that our server Chris was great & the food is very good. We were going to do some drinks and appetizers but our eyes tend to be bigger than our stomachs and we've finally listened. The wait wasn't too bad! We were told 45 minutes and were seated on 20 minutes. Our waiter was nice enough however we did not get some of the items we ordered. By the time he came back over to us our food was almost finished. The waiter did bring out the items missing however the fries with cheese and bacon were burnt and we were still missing a broccoli casserole. The waiter did not come back until it was time for us to leave. CHEDDARS is very clean, and I love the vibes, if you visit here beware it is noisy which is great for kids. I wanted to give this 4 stars however the missed food and burnt cheesy bacon fries dropped this to 3 stars. I will definitely try this place again in the future. I understand that things happen, and they were extremely busy however I still expect what I ordered and for it not to be burnt. I do have to add the steak, shrimp and rice were the manager just came and spoke to us and he was very and polite. I let the manager know we didn't want anything for free or anything like that just to take off the burnt fries off our bill. Jacob was the manager and as I stated before this was a 3 Star review and Jacob alone bumped this up to a 4 star review. We will definitely be back here. read more

If you're looking for an upscale Applebees, this is your place. I feel like I could've had more bang to my buck. It was pretty busy for a Friday night but we were seated within 20 minutes. The service was amazing. We got our food right away, appetizers, meal, drinks and all. The appetizers were really good-cheese bites and coconut shrimp. The chicken tenders and shrimp meal I had was ok. The green beans were stringy and bland, the chicken tenders were very bready and the grilled shrimp a little spicy. Their honey croissants were very good and actually melt in your mouth. I had the patron margarita. It was good, a little on the sweet side and I couldn't taste the patron..... Not a totally bad experience. It was our first time eating at Cheddars. Remember not to go through the food pick up door... I made the mistake of parking in the back? It looked like an entrance to me... anyway I stood back there for a few mins alone and then decided to walk into the seating area.... I was met by a kind waitress.. she led us to the front and we sat in a comfortable booth.. The bar area is nice & is separated from the dining area ( Bar has the bathrooms) ... comfort food! Like down South Carolina food.. heavy nighty-night type food "zzzzzzzz". We had the pot pie (huge) & the fish... The Pot pie was very good .. fried fish was ok ( 7-10) .. staff very nice... bathrooms clean.. food came out hot and fairly quickly... there must be a hospital nearby.. so many folks wearing scrubs... It is freezing cold in this place @ 11a.m. With ceiling fans also blowing... it was an uncomfortable cold just to be real. Other than that, nice spot to stop & dine if your starving.. Seated right away as they were not busy. Server was attentive and friendly. Nice atmosphere and very clean. I ordered the meatloaf with "loaded" baked potato and southern style green beans. When the plate arrived, it did not look appetizing. The meatloaf slices literally looked like they were from a frozen dinner. I don't know if they sear each side of the meat or what, but it was weird looking. The "loaded" baked potato is hardly loaded. It had butter, sour cream and cheese. You had to pay extra for bacon. Ugh! I had never been here and I won't be back. We were seated and it took 20 minutes for a waitress to even acknowledge we were sitting there. My 7 year old son spoke up lol. Visited this restaurant not long ago. I was craving pasta and my guy suggested this place . This place is bright and colorful. We were seated quickly. My guy zeroed in on corn meal crusted white fish for his meal and I chose Fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli. Our order was taken quickly by a friendly server and she brought us some biscuits with honey. Yummy! This place was busy but not terribly. They were following Social Distancing for seating and Mask wearing while we were there. My hubs and I enjoyed some conversation and gazing at the aquarium and people watching. Our food didn't take very long to be delivered, 30 minutes, considering all the families and couples there. My Fettuccine was very tasty and that broccoli, much to my surprise was crisp and not mushy. Score! Nothing worse than eating mushy broccoli. Let me just say that fish was a hit for my guy. The cornmeal reminded him of somehe ate growing up. But he did say the cornmeal was cooked too long and was hard but the fish was good. There's a bar here but we didn't check it out on this visit. My boyfriend and I went to Cheddar's Saturday afternoon and overall the service was okay. We were seated right away and the food was out pretty quick. But there was one thing that stood out negatively. We were sat towards a corner in the bar area and a blonde female manager was walking around greeting tables and checking in. She did this twice to the table in front of us that had two different parties seated while we were eating and not once were we acknowledged by her. My boyfriend and I are POC's while the two parties she greeted were not. I don't want to assume anything but it nonetheless felt that way to us. My first time at Cheddar. I was greeted and promptly seated, no wait on this Monday early dinner. The server was great. There are plenty of menu options I'd like to try, tonight I chose the New Orleans pasta dish. Shrimp, chicken and sausage in a creamy sauce with penne pasta. The flavors were on point. There were some Chewy onion skins and an extra shrimp tail hiding in the sauce, which wasn't ideal, but I'd order it again. I had a monster cookie dessert. It was just okay, to be honest. The cookie itself was dry like a sugar cookie but lacked flavor. Ice cream was good. Chocolate sauce was a bit watery, I thought. Overall not bad but I wouldn't have it again. Took my mother to Cheddar's today and was pleased. Found the Covid protocols to be effective (e.g. tables were well spaced, good mask wearing, disposable menus placed in the table, everything appeared to be clean, "touch less pay"). Lunch was tasty! Blacked white fish (not tilapia - yes!), red beans & rice, broccoli cheddar casserole, coconut shrimp, chicken tenders, green beans and fries appeared at our table and it was all fantastic. For some reason, we were expecting fresh cut fries, but these were not the case. While they were tasty, we had hoped for something like Five Guys. Everyone left satisfied and happy. read more

Always impressed when coming here. Very much a family restaurant. Staff is very friendly. The croissants they give are more of an acquired taste. At first I didn't like it but the more I kept eating it it grew on me. It's just different is the best way to describe it. The food is always amazing. What sets this place a part from others is that you can taste the seasoning they are using. The food is not bland. My favorite thing to get is the ribs and steak. Took the family out for dinner since it's new to the area. Wife has always enjoyed Cheddar's since we first tried them down in Texas. You will need to come early, as this place get busy and tends to have a long wait at times. Service is fine, just remember this place is new as is their workers. Food is always decent. I usually have their grilled chicken and pecan salad, never disappoints me. Son had the Monte Cristo, he enjoyed it. Daughter also had the grilled chicken and pecan salad, which she always enjoyed.
