I'm not from Charlotte but decided to give this Place a try as the one near my home closed down. We were so disappointed. The waitress started out good but then it went down hill. I ordered the 6oz steak with shrimp. When we got our food my steak was over cooked. My mom never received her salad before her meal and our ribs were so dry and over cooked. Our baked potatoes had so much sour cream it was gross. Needless to say I sent my meal back and by the time I receive my meal it was time to go. His service was the best thing going. My half and half (Arnold Palmer) was the worst. I found out why, the sweet tea was horrific. After tasting each as a stand alone, the lemonade was good. The food was hot and tasted well. I like the fish tank it's pretty and the atmosphere is cozy and dim. It really is a cute date place. However, the restroom left a lot to be desired. Every bite was savory and delicious . The waitress Alicia was very professional and patient while we were indecisive on what to eat. She also offered perfect options. First we waited 53 minutes after being quoted 30 minutes for a wait. Once we got our table, we ordered our kids food and appetizer through the kiosk. We got our appetizer fairly quickly, but we're still waiting on the rest of our food. 48 minutes later, our food came out, along with our kids food, but it was.wrong. Then someone from the kitchen immediately swapped out the kids plates. Then I proceed to look at my sandwich which had a still moving mosquito on the tomatoe. I have ate here (dine in) and most of the time it's good. The food is amazing I love it but the service not so much. DINE IN experience: every time I dine in at this location it's great I haven't had a whole lot of issues honestly. The service is sometimes slower than I would like but most of the time now days I sit at the bar which I get great service. Carry out/curbside: pretty much one of the worst experiences I've had anywhere. I place an order at 1225 pm and it says I can pick it up at 1255. Ok cool no problem. I get here and get a text saying to check in and I click it and it says my order has already been picked up (obviously not by me) so I call and the lady says it's a problem with their system and everything's ok. (This was at 1245 roughly) so right now it's 1:15 (yea almost an hour later) and I'm in my car waiting on my food and no updates or a phone call to say there's a problem so I call and it seems like they don't even have my order ready, the lady that picked up said well we are really busy, and we have an hour wait for dine in ( basically just kept making up excuses which I don't care about ). I will never order from here again. Honestly I'll probably never come back to this location even to dine in which is a shame because the food is good. I did curbside pick up more like walk in... my food was ready at 8:23 and checked in nobody came out to my car by 8:35 so I called and they said they would send someone out. A few of my favorite items are the onion rings, baked potato soup, Caesar salad, macaroni and cheese, broccoli casserole, and the chicken Alfredo. This is one of the very few places I eat where I always try and get something new. I'm never disappointed with anything I've ordered. This time I ordered the Dijon chicken with mushrooms. The meal is two char-grilled breasts served over rice and topped with a honey-Dijon sauce. The mushrooms are more of a side thought rather than part of the dish. It comes with two sides so I got the broccoli casserole and macaroni and cheese. It's a lot of food and it's inexpensive, making it a great value. The Dijon sauce was a bit on the sweet side so I scraped some of it off the chicken to make my meal more enjoyable. The chicken was a bit tough on the outside, but not too chewy and still edible. The mushrooms were salty. I could live with or without the rice; it was just the average rice pilaf. read more

Slowest service ever. Do not go if you want to get in and out in less than a couple hours. It was a 40 min wait at the door, and another HOUR after getting to the table to be approached by an employee, after telling them we were still waiting. Came here on Thursday evening with a couple of my girlfriends to grab a quick bite. We were greeted immediately and headed over to the bar area to eat in the dining booths across from the bar to avoid a long wait. For starters we had two orders of the spinach artichoke dip with nachos, which was pretty good. The nachos were served in a large portion and they were warm. The dip was fresh and creamy. Safe to say we finished both orders before our entrees came out. For our entrees we all did the New Orleans Pasta which came with shrimp, chicken and sausages with penne pasta. O.M.G. It was tasty! The chicken, shrimp sausages were all seasoned well and the pasta rich and creamy and not to mention zesty! No wonder why this dish is one of the fan favorites of the establishment. My parents came to town and my mom wanted some Comfort Foods so I pulled it up and Cheddar's came up. They loved it!

Came to this Cheddar's today at about 12:45 and there were a total of 10 cars in the parking lot. Went inside and was told by the hostess it would be a 30-35 minute wait because they, "only had one cook." Decided to wait even though they were completely dead and only 2-3 tables currently occupied. We returned about 30 minutes later and went inside to continue to wait on our table. I approached the host stand where a gentleman was standing who was not wearing a mask at all. I politely asked him for a menu and he completely ignored me. I stood there for about another minute before the actual hostess walked up and gave me a menu. Upon sitting down I immediately noticed the touch screen they have on each table was riddled with finger prints. Cmon....we're in the middle of a pandemic. The absolute LEAST you can do is ensure you are wiping down touch screen devices that every single guest is 100% touching, every time, every table. Then, I discover they no longer carry the delicious Spasgana..... What is the point of Cheddar's without this dish. Now, you're just another Applebee's, congrats. One plus is that the food we ordered was pretty good, even though we waited a very long time for our food. But overall, terrible experience from the jump at this location. The curbside pickup at cheddars has been a life saver for me. The food here is usually right on point. I had to take off a star because my last visit wasn't as great as it usually is. When I showed it to the manager I was told the meal would be comped, then they only comped half the meal. The waiter would literally WALK AWAY in the MIDDLE of us ordering. Twice. As the manager was opening the wine, he spilled wine all over my husband, and then laughed and walked away. My husband ordered a steak medium rare, it was burned to a crisp. I had salmon with rice and broccoli cheese casserole. He had ribs and a ribeye steak with baked potato and salad. For an appetizer we had chips, salsa and queso with ground beef added (no extra charge.) We were very impressed by the quality of the chips. Warm and thin like a Mexican restaurant. The salsa and queso were very good. The salmon, steak and ribs were grilled to perfection. In short I am happy to that food and service are back up to par. read more

This experience was not enjoyable. It took forever for us to be seated, and even longer to receive our food. The waitress did her best to make sure we were taken care of however, the issue came from the kitchen. The only good items were the croissants and cheddar bites. We waited a long while for our entrees only to be disappointed further because they were disgusting. My steak and broccoli tasted funny, like cleaning products. Others in our party ordered blackened Salmon only to receive what appeared to be unseasoned steamed salmon (if that's even a thing). When they told the waitress their salmon wasn't blackened, they offered to remake it or to just be brought seasoning. They (others in party) opted for the seasoning as they didn't want to wait EVEN LONGER for their salmon to be re-cooked or "put back in the pan" and it still be WRONG. The manager came and spoke with us (with a bit of attitude). We told her that we've waiting a very long time only to be disappointed. The food was not good aside from one appetizer and the croissants. As a resolve, the manager gave us 15% off of our tab as well as didn't charge for our entrees (went sent them back). I don't think I'd go back to this Cheddars or any Cheddars as it seems like the quality of food is really not worth it the time. read more

We placed our food order and an appetizer. 20 mins later, I asked about the appetizer, because a table in our section, who placed their order after us, had received theirs. A server went to check, brought ours out, and then our dinner came out 2 mins later. We were never asked if we needed a refill, which we needed. What an expected treasure this place is! We are cross country moving and stopped by Cheddar's after googling places to eat in Branson. We pulled up thinking "this place will do" and "it's giving Applebees" BOY WERE WE WRONG. We can only, of course, thank our server, Shea, who recommended pretty much everything we ordered and it was all delicious. We had the Spinach Dip which was absolutely divine. My husband had a 24oz Blue Moon and I had 2 Strawberry Swirl Frozen Margaritas. They were so good! And only $7 each. That blew our minds being from a big city. For dinner, Shea suggested we share the Monte Cristo and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Both made FRESH and it really showed in the taste and presentation. The portions were huge and we were able to take some home to munch on later. We had such an amazing time and it was a great distraction from a stressful moving process. Was invited too a friends son 18 birthday dinner They had already ordered once I came in I was late coming .... so I had ordered ... they had ordered but had not gotten their food and two of them were waiting on drinks ... they bought one of them their drinks but it was wrong, the next drink that came was wrong as well .... another guy came by and the lady at the table explained too the guy what had happened.... he left then the lady who bought the first wrong drink came back and said the guy who left here typed in the same thing and the drink was the same .... again the menu let you omit things from the drink to make it right ..... then the manager Emily came with a drink and again it was wrong ..... they told her again what kind of drink she wanted .... she came back with another drink but yet it was missing the shot that goes in it but she took it ... the manager stated that the bartender was new .... if that was the case they should have had her being supervised ....then they finally brought out the others food .... finally I got my chicken pot pie it was soupy ... the manager said it should not have been like that and she apologized.., I've eaten here before and their was no complaints.:: but today was thumbs down read more
