We got a gift card for Cheddars and decided to use it up today. Did on line ordering and curbside pickup. I got a buffalo chicken wrap with fry's. Husband got chicken fettuccine. Wrap was great and they gave me lots of extra ranch and ketchup. Chicken fettuccine was also good but we asked for no broccoli and my husband was picking small pieces out of his dish. I wouldn't have minded but he hates broccoli. The broccoli must be pre mixed or someone didn't pay attention to the order. Since everything is "scratch made" I'm sure it was the latter. Young lady that brought out the food was wearing her mask. They need larger to go cup's but we were both very impressed with the size off the food portions. I believe almost everyone is familiar with Cheddars. But my biggest point in this restaurant is that it's extremely affordable. If you're on a budget and looking to take the family out to dinner, Cheddars is your place to be. I received a 22oz bone in ribeye with two sides for only $22. Sides being a loaded potato and a side salad. I also chose a cup of loaded potato soup which was delicious along with their spinach dip. The dip was very flavorful and seasoned. All choices on the menu are very well priced. Even their cocktails. They had a Tito's and cranberry for only $4.99! Lol. All of their other specialty drinks are reasonable as well. If I recall correctly, nothing being over 10 bucks. We were a party of 9 who had set a reservation but 45mins after our scheduled time, we still didn't have a table cause other customers hadn't left yet. So they pushed together a few tables in the bar area for us. Which was fine. Our waitress did an amazing job serving us and the food came out extremely quick. My family and I went there on Easter, there were about nine of us and hands down, this was my worst restaurant experience I've had in this city. The waiter was new, we found out at the end, which is fine but communication is key. Everything from the wait for drinks, to place our order, to get our appetizers and food was terrible. About half of the orders were wrong and the steaks were absolutely terrible. The meat was way over cooked and seemed gray in color and seemed like it was frozen because it was watery? Disgusting, I sent mine back and it was a 20 minute wait and it wasn't any better. I could go on and on but I will never go there again. read more

Cheddar's is one of my favorite sit down chain restaurants. They're always friendly and they have really delicious food. There's something on the menu for everyone. They are pretty busy most evenings especially Friday and Saturday so we frequently sit at the bar but we don't mind that at all. During our last visit I wanted something besides the pasta I usually get so I ordered the 6oz top sirloin. I usually don't order steaks at chains like this but wow I cannot day enough good things. I asked for medium and I was cooked perfectly. It was tender and juicy with so much flavor I didn't even use the steak sauce they brought me. I got a loaded baked potato and green beans as my sides and both were delicious as well. I also highly recommend the chips and queso for an appetizer. The queso isn't the usual white cheese but it's still really good and you get salsa as well. They always refill our chips at no charge because we usually run out. My family and I decided to stop in at Cheddars for dinner recently. I like the sheer variety of the menu and no there will be something I am in the mood for. Also there prices are quite reasonable. We walked in and luckily were immediately seated. Our waiter was outstanding great service and very friendly. One of the better waiters Ive had in quite some time. Anyways they did have a few new items on the menu. This was a welcome site and one sounded perfect which was chicken and rice with shrimp. Also you get two sides as well. I chose broccoli casserole and the Cole slaw. The dish was great the chicken was savory and the cutlets were cut so they didn't have the idd giant wedge shape. The shrimp were food too. I do like the rills here which are croissants with a honey butter glaze. The cole slaw was a good accompaniment and the broccoli casserole good too. Cheddars is an upscale version restaurant to Applebees or Chili's. The inside is beautiful and so is the outside but what I love most is that it's not expensive AT ALL so don't let the bougie look fool you! The food is priced really reasonable and they have bomb options! Especially the drinks! All the drinks sounded so good and both the painkiller and margarita was REALLY good and DEF recommend! Unlike the traditional chips and salsa or bread and butter, Cheddars give you honey butter warm croissant! That with the painkiller was STRAIGHT a weekend memory having a hot drink with pan dulce. Well this trip started out very well. Got the trio for the appetizer the chicken tenders were awesome the salsa was delicious the caso was as well and the the spinach dip was tasty. And it went down hill from there. Got the 14 oz ribeye and it had very little flavor I cook a way better steak at home. But with all fairness to them they said were they cook the steaks was broken and they had to cook them another way and all you could get was medium well and well but that don't excuse the no spice's . And a place this big should never have equipment down that long. The mashed potatoes I got were nasty and my other side was wrong. The front staff was very friendly but are waitress was not very good. The restaurant was very clean even the bathroom's . I will probably go back to see if when they cook the steak the right way if it's any better. Horrible service and horrible food! My food came ice cold! She asked if I wanted it heated up or made new! I said heat it up because I didn't want to wait any longer as it had already taken forever! But no she had them remake it and it took forever and my husband had eaten his entire meal and we still waited! I had stood up to get ready to leave and it comes! So I told her my husband was done eating and she snarkily said she would take it off the bill! I tried to eat it but the food (Alfredo) was watery and had zero taste! I left the majority uneaten! Avon is full of chains, but they are easy to get my aunt in and out of and she is so picky. This restaurant is huge inside since we have never waited and the parking lot is always packed. We have been here a handful of times and they are all pretty similar. We easily get a table which is great for my aunt's scooter. We are always waited on quickly and the food is always good. I tend to stick to a fish dish, the salmon is good and they had a red fish that was great. it comes with 2 sides and rice so plenty of food. My aunt loves the pot pies and I like the massive pain killer drink that they line the rim with coconut. It's a nice pineapple drink with just the right mix of alcohol. When someone calls the day before their intended arrival to make a reservation, you could save your guests much uncertainty and frustration if you tell them then that it really doesn't do any good, that you must still join the wait list online. First we made reservations 24 hours in advanced for 4pm. So they already should of had everything in place for the dinner reservations and ready to go. When we arrived we have to wait at least 30 minutes to be seated. When we were seated at the area here are a few things that was already a fail .. First: The area they gave us was still disgusting. They left the entire trash bag on the floor Second: it was extremely hot ‼ No A/C at all. And we had little children toddlers Third: We had to reclean all of the tables off ‼ Fourth: The waiter seemed like she had an attitude and she was the only one serving us. Fifth: It took the management team over an hour just bring us our drink orders , my daughter still didn't receive her lemonade. I didn't even want to order any food and I told my husband we were leaving and I'm complaining it the manager. My best advice never go here. I will be complaining to corporate. I want to start out by saying, this is my first review ever. I received two fifty dollar gift cards from my Daughter for Christmas. The two options in Avon, were Cheddar's and the Longhorn restaurants. So we decided to try Cheddar's, having never ate there before. First of all, the young gal who waited on us, seemed to have a little attitude. I ordered the 1/2 ribs and Chicken Strips. The ribs looked like the cheap cut and were burnt to a crisp. They were absolutely terrible, the worst I've ever eaten. The Chicken Strip's was all church and hardly any Chicken in them. The rolls that they are famous for were hard and cold. I must have got the last two. The honey butter wouldn't even melt. They were just a sticky mess anyway. They only thing that was decent, was my diet coke and my side salad. My other side was a baked potato, and that was Luke warm. Next year for Christmas, I'll tell her to pass on the Darden gift cards and get me White Castle one's instead. I'll pass on Cheddar's. They do give you large portions, plenty to take home to your Dog's. But I doubt if they'll eat burn ribs! read more

It was my first at the Cheddar's in Avon, and I had lunch out there with my mom on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon. Social distance was in place, staff wore their masks, along with the customers wore their masks. Very easy to find, it wasn't too many people in the restaurant, we did have the paper menu brought to us instead of using a barcode. The Server brought out two delicious buttery honey flavored croissants. Usually, when I go out to eat I don't eat bread, but those croissants were very delicious. For, my entrée I had the very delicious flaky chicken pot pie, it was slightly a tad bit salty, there was plenty of chunky chicken in it. I also had a side of buttery corn, and the baked potato soup which the soup was okay tasted like something was missing. Then, I ordered the Island Tiki drink with sugar around the rim very good, not too strong of a drink. My mom has the cornmeal whitefish, two sides of green beans, buttery corn, and she had the Cheddar's Painkiller. Our Server was Meliza R she did a very good job, in a well timely manner, professional, helpful on the menu, and kept checking up on us. Stopped in for lunch with a friend on a Friday afternoon about a week ago. Great lunch menu options ( pick 2) . The roll that comes with the salad has almost a sweet flavor which was unexpected and amazing . I had the Island Tiki which was very good and not too sweet. The bartender , Melissa ( I think) , was so nice, so friendly, and took the time to explain the different types of tequilas. By the end it felt like we were friends Great food, amazing staff, and that aquarium is STUNNING! What a great family restaurant that also has a nice bar area to meet with friends. My Wife ordered white fish supposed to be blackened she only had one bite and pushed it away. 20 mins later she was throwing up and got sick all the way home. Chips and queso are really good on the appetizer menu, cheese fries are awesome and the salsa is really good too. Sandwiches are all good and the portions are huge! I would steer clear of the sirloin steaks, I have never tried he ribeye but the sirloin is way below my expectations. It was undercooked severely in one side and way over cooked on the other. Quality of meat is not good. They removed it from my bill so this is why I felt they deserve the rating. Everything was truly really good. On a busy Saturday night they were able to get us in and our waiter was great! He even said that he waits tables at a breakfast restaurant in the mornings. He definitely got a big tip from us. I always have liked the Cheddar's atmosphere between the fish tank and other decor. And we always manage to get a booth even for just the two of us. As for the food, there is always something new that I am willing to try. At most restaurants I stick with the same option, but I know that by now I have tried at least four different entrees at Cheddar's and I could still try something new next time. Anything you order will be a great choice at a great price! This time I ordered the tilapia with a shrimp and mango topping. It was served over rice and came with two sides so I got a sweet potato (comes with a special cinnamon butter topping!) and a caesar salad. Now, when ordering a side, do not pass up the caesar salad. I still believe that Cheddar's has the best caesar salad in the restaurant business. I order it every time. And it comes with a butter glazed croissant! I've never been to a Cheddars before but i had a great time! We sat in the bar area and they had TVs playing sports games. Place was clean. Service, while not perfect, was super friendly and they were very attentive to refills on drinks. I got the bbq chicken platter and it was delish and huge! Definitely a bang for your buck kinda place. My date swears by the bbq ribs, which is tender enough to fall off the bone and he enjoyed his Key West chicken and shrimp dish that night. VERY disappointing. Our first trip to Cheddar's was just before Christmas 2021. While the service was slow, I didn't hold it against them due to staffing issues. The food was pretty good and we we sure we'd found a new favorite got-to place to eat. Unfortunately, the bubble was popped yesterday when we ordered curbside carryout. The order was not complex and the curbside pickup fine. When I got home to unpack and have dinner, I found that both of the side orders of mashed potatoes were missing and that there was a mystery Ceaser salad that we hadn't ordered. After sitting down to eat what food we did have that was right, I cut into the country fried steak that was so overcooked that the breading literally crumbled and came completely off of the country fried steak. The meat inside was so salty that I couldn't even eat all of it. I give any place 2 chances and this was the last chance for Cheddar's. Won't go back to this location again and I definitely would not recommend. read more

That address does not exist via email---when you hit send it tells you to correct the address, and it is nowhere to be found when you try to google it. I love this place! Their chicken Parmesan meal is absolutely delicious. They combination of chicken and pasta is a great ratio. And it's cooked fresh. I always get a lemonade to compliment it. I love love love Cheddar's, but I don't know what happened at this Cheddar's location on Friday night. We've only been to the Cheddar's in Greenwood but we were in the neighborhood and decided to go to this location. The service was fast but our waiter was not very professional. He was a younger guy, and when we ordered extra sauces for our chicken tenders he said "I'll keep the small stuff off the bill so I can get a better tip". Uhhhh okay? Because that's not a rude thing to say. We ordered the spinach dip to share and it was very very good, some of the best spinach dip I've ever had....The chicken tenders had noooo flavor. We were in awe! They're usually so flavorful and good, but they weren't and we were so disappointed....The monte cristo I ordered was delicious, the outside breading was light and flakey and the cheese was melted perfectly. I can't even give this place 1 star and I'm sad about it. I was craving some comfort food (being pregnant is difficult and comfort is needed at times, lol) so I called to place a pick up order from the parking lot. They said it would take 30 minutes to prepare a Vegetable Plate (made up of four of their southern sides). So my family and I waited outside for 30 minutes. I went inside, told the hostess I was there for pick up and she directed me to wait in the bar. I waited in there for 20 minutes and not one employee address me in the bar. So I went back to sit by the front where the hostess was. She was sitting and on her phone when I went back. Never looked up to ask if I needed help. I waited another 10 minutes and with no help or food decided to leave. I got out to the car and my fiance asked what had happened. I explained to him and he then went inside to get the food. He came out upset and said he just told them to cancel the order. Nobody greeted him as he entered either. I hate to leave this review, but that's some customer service I wish for nobody else to receive. read more
