We've had nothing but 5 star experiences at Cheddar's! From the service to the food, everything meets or goes beyond our expectation! I love the interior, it gives off a fancier vibe, but don't be fooled, this establishment is quite casual. We always start the night by getting the loaded nacho dip! The queso is so flavorful with all the additional toppings (pico, jalapeños, sour cream, beans, etc). Great way to start of the meal! I suggest getting the ribs! They are so flavorful and smoky! Super tender, fall off the bone! The broccoli cheese casserole is literally to die for. It's so cheesy! A must get every time! We took my mother-in-law for her first Cheddars visit. The food was very good. Although it was after 6pm, we were able to get lunch-sized portion, which were still very generous. The salmon was "perfectly prepared" and the chicken fried chicken, with a heavy but crispy batter, was delicious. The mashed potatoes were excellent. As always, the croissants were my favorite. Service was okay, a little slow, but the restaurant was busy. It seemed well-staffed. I noticed a bartender working very hard, no slacking here. We'll be back. read more

I have always liked cheddars in Aurora off Arapahoe Road. However, today's lunch just did not hit the mark. The chicken tenders were just OK, more breading than chicken I believe. However, the mac & cheese had to be returned twice and finally we just took it home to nuke. . It was cool to lukewarm each time. Our waitress tried but we were told that this was the right temp. (?). It was certainly not close to being hot. Even though we were pretty hungry, we would not eat cold mac & cheese. The smoked baby back ribs were fall off the bone delicious, the steak was cooked sooo perfectly as requested (medium rare), the steamed broccoli had my toddler eating almost all her veggies, and the sweet teas while delicious, were probably just a tad too sweet for our taste buds. I tried Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen today for the first time ever, the location by Parker and Arapaho. I am impressed enough to go back! First, I find the menu to have a great variety, and to be reasonably priced. Second, I ordered the Monte Cristo, and it is delicious! For tomorrow I have the New Orleans pasta, which also bodes well, with pasta tossed in a cajun cream sauce with shrimp and sausage. It's only a 4 instead of a 5 because it's not what I would call fine dining, and the service could have been a bit better, although it was more than adequate. I will definitely be back. read more

The server was quite forgetful, I ended up having to wait a good amount of time just for a simple glass of water. But when the food arrived it was delicious, adequately portioned and aesthetically pleasing. I also found the price for the meals to be decent and aligned to todays economy. Cheddar's seems to be a fairly consistent restaurant. But not the case on our last visit. We wanted a quick meal last night and headed over about 7:00 p.m. There were a few people waiting, but they seated us fairly quickly. The hostess asked if we wanted drinks and we did order from her. After 5 minutes another waitress came by and asked again if we would like drinks. It took about 10 minutes to get our drink order. I ordered their Monte Cristo sandwich and my bf ordered their sirloin steak with a baked potato. Nothing fancy for sure. Our meal arrived in a decent amount of time. My sandwich was okay, nothing very special. But after my bf took one bite of his steak, which he could not even chew, he said it was tough and had a very funny taste. I quickly asked for the waitress and she asked if he would like anything else, and he had lost his appetite. She removed this item from our bill. Not likely we will be back. I recently went with three friends and I got the grilled trout with rice, steamed broccoli, mac and cheese, and a kale salad. The kale salad comes with a croissant and both were the best things I had. The kale salad was hearty and healthy, and came with several vegetables, while the croissant was buttery and light. The fish and rice were OK, although they could have used more flavor. The mac and cheese and were also fine slides if a bit bland. I would recommend Cheddar's if you are looking for an inexpensive meal for selective eaters. read more

After many years of hearing about Cheddars, I finally got to experience it. The staff was friendly and nice. It wasn't too busy but it was a weekday afternoon. The interior of the restaurant was really cute with this giant spinning wheel at the center of one of the rooms. There's outdoor seating if eating outside is your thing. The potato soup was surprisingly tasty. Occasionally there would a giant potato piece that didn't blend well with the rest of the soup but it was soft so you could just break it apart. Got drink orders of water and tea right away. Then we waited the return of the waitress to place order. It was quite a wait. I finally order the 8oz top sirloin, med rare, with fries and Cole slaw. My wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo. And we waited quite a while again. I visited the men's room meanwhile. The cleanest, roomiest, best supplied men's room I have see. Finally the order came. The steak was cooked to perfection, and lots of flavor; the Cole slaw was good, fries were good. My wife's chicken Alfredo's chicken filet was tender, moist, and flavorful. I love this location every time I eat there but this is the first time to order through doordash from there and I ordered a 8oz steak and this is what I received. I asked for rare and it was medium, almost medium well. Im pretty upset over this, plus with an appetizer it was almost $50.00. As for the food it's alright not a 5 star restaurant but for the prices it's worth it. Our bill was $58 for 5 people and we all got soft drinks and my husband got a beer. That's McDonald's prices but way better than McDonald's! The restaurant is on the same scale as chili's. I also think it's good for families! I think it's worth a try in my book. read more

I ordered water since that is all I drink at restaurants (I don't think soda, tea or alcohol), but she said she had to charge me for a drink since I ordered a kids meal? Recently moved to the area and noticed the restaurant during my commute. Decided to try it on a Friday evening before seeing a movie nearby. Even with a busy evening they were able to seat us almost immediately. Our server was excellent, answered all our questions, made recommendations that were delicious (Pot Pie - OMG!), and was very attentive during our time there. We decided we would go back the next weekend to try other dishes. Sadly no, this ended up being our first and last visit. On the Cheddar's website is the signup for their E-Club which comes with a Free Chips/Queso, and a free dessert on your birthday. I signed up and a few days later received my welcome email with a coupon for the Chips/Queso. Good thing I looked at the fine print before heading to the restaurant. It states that the offer is not valid in Colorado, or at franchise locations. A few weeks later the birthday reward email came and had the same restriction. I guess I can understand that this happens for "business" reasons. But none of these exclusions are shown on the signup page or in the T&C, I checked. Why not give your customers the info upfront instead of alienating them with disappointment when they realize they've been had. read more

Thank ok close to 10 min for a server to greet me, which only happened after I asked to move sections. Also, there was only 6 tables seated in the bar (to include the antisocial bar) 3. We ordered immediately, after the 10 min wait to be greeted. Then waited another 25 min for food. 4. The food arrived ice cold. And we didn't see the server again from the time we ordered until 5 min after the cold food arrived. 5. The ONLY pro: she replaced ONE cold entree which took another 20 min. 6. I immediately asked for a box and the check. 7. Another long wait. She brought check, I gave her my card...another long wait. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and I'll never return. read more

My boyfriend and I just finished a meal at Cheddar's. While the food was delicious, I did receive a quite overdone steak while I ordered it medium done. When asked if I could get a replacement, I was not only given a wonderful steak once the issue was addressed but also received excellent service from the waitstaff. I have heard a lot about this place and finally I got to come! First of all the prices were a lot better then I expected. I feel the money was worth what you get. I came here with my boyfriend, he got the ribs and tenders it comes with two sides he got a salad that comes with a honey butter croissant and fries. The tenders and ribs were delicious and home style Comfort which I loved!!! I ordered another order of the croissants, I definitely recommend these to anyone and everyone, they are homemade and delicious. I will get these everytime. I got the homemade chicken pot pie.
