The only drawback was that I didn't receive the marinara sauce to go with the Fry-Seasoned Mozzerella, which frequently happens when I order this item. This is my third time coming to this Checkers. My experiences with the customer service hasn't been terrible but the wait time has been consistently terrible. Granted it is 2am, we live in a highly populated area and it's up to management to hire more staff if that is the problem. It leaves the customer wondering what the employees are actually doing inside. When served at the speaker the worker expressed that they were tired and wanted to go home which I understand completely. But that is also why the scheduling manager must do better. Every time I come I wait in the drive thru line for at least 25 mins. Whether it is at 4pm or 2am apparently. I've had all this time to download the app, make an account, and write this review. General Manager Sara Hockaday that work for the checkers at 1915 E Joppa road is the most nasty, ugly, miserable person I've ever met. She creates a hostile work environment for the employees that work at this location. She screams and yells at others as if they are less than human and no one can say anything because she will fire them if they said anything back. My son who is now a former employee of Checkers always complained about a hostile work environment because of this lady. Today was it for me! I don't send my child to work to get abused. He applied for another job and was hired and given an orientation date. So, the very next day he worked at Checkers, he asked the assistant manager if the general manager was going to come in. The assistant manager told him he wasn't sure and asked why. My son told him that he accepted another position and he wanted to inform the general manager that this week would be his last week. She told my 16 year old that it was unprofessional of him to not give her two weeks notice in a rude and nasty tone which upset my son. He informed management as soon as he was offered a position elsewhere. He could have been like most teens and not showed up for his shifts, but he didn't! It was Sara who is unprofessional to make a teen feel bad because he wasn't able to give her a full two weeks notice. I went to talk to her about the way she treated my child and she was nothing but rude and nasty. My child is a good child! He's a hard worker and he was always willing to help out at Checkers because they are always short staffed. He didn't deserve for her to put him down like she did. Checker's will never keep a good employee like my son if they have to deal with crap like Sara.This is not a person that need to running any establishment where people are involved. She seem like she hates her job and will take her frustrations out on employees. Maybe Checker's can keep help if they get rid of the waste like this person. I will never recommend anyone to work for Checkers or buy from them as long as Sara is on their team. She's not a team player at all. I do have video of her in action. I'm trying to get in touch with the owner! If you're looking for a job teen or adult, do not apply here if you want to be treated like a human being. Also, their Snagajob post says their starting pay is $12 p/h however, when my son was hired, he was told that was a mistake and he started with $11.75 p/h. I checked Snagajob and the $12 posting is still there. False advertising! Sara is pitiful and hates her job which is why she always has an attitude. She will yell and curse out employees and customers. I see why this place is run so poorly because of this heffa. I don't eat Checker's food but some of the stories I've heard, I wouldn't suggest anyone eat from this trash place. read more

I only come here for lunch. They are pretty fast during the day and my food is always hot. I have never had an issue with this location. Was most disappointed when I pulled into this Checkers at 11:30pm and after ordering was told to pull into a space in the lot as they defrosted my Baconater. I was virtually ignored for 7 minutes as other cars just proceeded through unimpeded. The Sprite they gave me initially that was plain soda water simply didn't pacify me. They're so INSANELY rude at this checkers that some of the locals have nicknames for it. When you pull up to the menu, you're not greeted. After you place your order, some troll usually barks the price and nothing else. They all but chuck your food into the car and the entire time they don't say a word to you or look at you.
