We ordered a burger and the woman working asked us if we wanted a single or double. when I asked how big the patties are, she shrugged and said "I can't really tell you". um..meanwhile she is the cook. I walked in the door and... I didn't have to slide like I was cross country skiing. After frequenting our last local Five Guys in Evansville, IN I thought it was just standard to slide your way through the restaurant. So this was gold star number one. Then we went to order and the order taker was so pleasant and high energy. When a stream of customers started coming in she got a little flustered. But the team worked well together and one of the girls working a different station came to help her by preparing my son's milkshake. We didn't wait long for our food and it was almost all correct. Somehow I got mushrooms on my burger but I caught it before I bit in. So I'll let that one slide. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back in the future. read more

Two cheeseburgers with soda is $30, shocked first time eating at five guys when I took a bite first time I feel like eating real meat burger. Best burger. I did google why burger's so expensive at five guys then came to know various facts, now feel like it worthy. Plus can't beat free peanuts. This place is right next to my gym, it acts as my personal kryptonite. Thanks five guys. You are there when I need you. That being said, Im giving it 3 maybe 3.5 stars because I personally feel the service has slowly gotten worse at this location. The food was great. The fries were fresh and not too salty. The burger was delicious and the toppings were fresh enough that I could taste some of the veggies behind the grease. The location is good too. Tons of parking and the inside is pretty clean. They have a lot of open table but its starting to give the place a dull feeling. The employees weren't as cheerful and they don't seem the happiest working there. (we all have bad days). Also, when I asked for a water cup (I don't drink soda) the employee gave me this "seriously?" face and took a long time reaching for the tiny water cup. The machines were out of water anyways so, haha just my luck. I still enjoyed my food! If you never tried five guys here is my recommendation. I ordered a To-Go Cheeseburger with lettuce wrap + "All The Way" toppings(Lettuce, tomato, mushrooms, ketchup, mustard) but hold the mayo and grilled onions. When I got home, I was disappointed to find that the burger was missing the tomato, mushrooms, ketchup and mustard. what did i get for my toppings? mayo and grilled onions. So, they got my toppings wrong. i chose not to go back and ask for a new burger since I was like 15-20 min away from the location. The burger still tasted great. it's funny that even on the receipt attached to my to-go bag, it said "All The Way - no mayo - no grilled onions - no bun (wrap)" but the only thing they got right was the no bun. oh well.... read more

Frankly, I like 5 Guys a great deal. However, this is a poor location and I have tried going here 3 times to give them the benefit of the doubt. The first time I went here the food was terrible and the service was horrible. I called corporate and they did little to change things on my next visit. Visit 2 was no better food wise, but the service was good. Visit 3 I left because the service was again very slow. My solution is to drive to their location near White Marsh Mall. Great service and great food every time I have gone to this location. As this is a franchise, one owner/operator is different from another. read more

Three words: Free Roasted Peanuts. Awesomeness. Kidding aside, you could order a drink and just sit there and eat the peanuts. Ahem. But folks, the burgers are perfect cuz that's all they do--no complaints there. You can get any combination of about 10 burger toppings free--makes me really hate restaurants that want to charge you extra for toppings like crappy iceberg lettuce. You could conceivably order every topping (and I've seen it). but considering that the regular cheese burger comes with two patties, you'd get lockjaw attempting to eat it easily! The french fies are fried in peanut oil (yum), and come either plain or with cajun seasoning--both are very good. A regular size fries is enough for two hungry people with enough left over to feed the seaguls in the parking lot. I also like that they offer malt vinegar for them--you won't see that too often anywhere outside fish n chip places. And of course unlimited fountain drink refills complete the American pig-out experience. For all your burger needs: This place deserves 10 stars! read more

I like Five Guys. But this restaurant was a little different. Walking in, you can immediately see the dirty carpet with peanuts and ice. The other thing that stood out was the wait to get food. The only orders were super behind and they had burgers that were sitting out for a bit. It just seems like they are always super understaffed. 5 guys was famous for the huge order of fries that they served. Great gimmick, because it cost them about 50 cents and they charge almost $5. They are going to lose popularity by skimping out! Almost $11 for burger and fries with no drink. I am sad that it has come to this. read more

Just wanted to say Thank You! I've only eaten at a couple of your locations around Baltimore and have been impressed each time!! It wasn't until today, my fiancee and I stopped in at the Parkville location, to share a burger and fries and I mean share! We learned our lesson the first two times trying to manhandle a double cheese burger and fries,! We were the ones that were manhandled!! Great team! Over sized portions! More fries than we could eat! It was by far one of messiest Best Burger's and Service I've had in a long time!! Keep up the excellent work!!! We will definitely be back! read more

Just stopped in today 6/20/11 and was not impressed with my burger. It was greasy, fell off the bun and was tasteless. Staff is friendly and seem happy. Tables crowded together, store needs to clear a path to get to the counter. With my big bottom walking by, I was afraid I would sweep someones food off the table! I am positive that happens, the tables are that close. Of course go there. All the customers seemed happy, but it's just the latest "trendy" place to be. At lease it's not overpriced. I wish they had char-grilled burgers mmmm. Five Guys uses peanut oil, and actually mounds of peanuts are displayed in the store. I'M ALLERGIC! So I won't be going back. I prefer this location to their other location in Towson, simply because I like their parking lot way better. This place sucks. After a 25 minute wait for carry out, they gave me a cold hamburger. When I called to explain and seek a refund, the store manager said I'd have to come back (it was a stop while driving south on 95), and when I said I couldn't, he hung up on me. We like to go to this particular Five Guys when we do go; the service and food are normally great. Tonight; however, was a different story. $39.96 for 2 large sodas, 3 burgers and a large fry. Expectations are always high. We sat down, took out the burgers and literally...looked for the rest of the fries. One cup, not completely full, placed in the bag. I looked at the receipt to see if it was a mistake and they hadn't given us a large. They did...on the receipt, not in the bag. We debated on whether or not we should say something, but you know, you pay that much...you have to say something. I walked up to the counter and asked if this was now their large fry. The girl behind the counter looked at the bag and said "I don't understand what you're talking about". I said "The fries. Is this what you consider to be your large fry??" She said "Our bags are larger" and she walked away. "Our bags are larger".....are you kidding me? If I were at another burger joint, I wouldn't care, but when you are willing to spend $40 on burgers and fries because you know that you'll get a quality product...you want what you are paying for. Seriously...how much do fries really cost to make? The burgers were great, but temp was off. An off night, maybe? I loved this place and wanted to support it because it's in a hidden strip mall...but I'm not that motivated anymore. This Five Guys isn't like other Five Guys I have been to. They are really "skimpy" on their fries and condiments on their hamburgers. A small fry barely would feed 1 person. Every other Five Guys I went to, a small fry feeds at least 3 people. Go to White Marsh or Towson Md. if you want food Five Guys is noted for. I went to Five Guys last night with my wife to satisfy an urge for a burger. Five Guys has always been a winner in the past for us. But I noticed that the burger quality seems to have changed. Weren't they hand-shaped before which made them thicker and juicier than other fast food places? The burgers we had last night seemed a lot closer to a Whopper or Quarter Pounder type of patty. If that's what they are doing with their burgers now I will have to reassess them as my go-to burger place. The fries were tasty, but I won't be sucked into buying a "medium" again for two people.
