Super long wait the last two times I ordered from here. The first time I waited over 25 min to finally receive my pre-ordered food. I gave them a try again about 3 weeks later and still had over a 15 min wait for pre-ordered food. What in the world. Once I finally got my food, there's no apology for the wait and certainly no smiles/welcoming demeanor. Not to mention, the guy at the window is extremely stoic, doesn't speak at the window or respond when I say thanks and thank you. He also doesn't extend his arm at all when passing you food. He holds it slightly outside the window then he stares at you as you put the car in park and lean out the window to grab the food. Afterwards, he quickly slams the window shut without speaking one word. Such an odd experience. Clearly he doesn't want to be at the job. The first time, I thought he was having a bad day but now I see it's just his personality. Perhaps they are understaffed or he is being mistreated at work. I don't know. I just know I can't come to this location again and customer service skills. Also: Just found out my order was completely wrong. So yea... annoyed and disappointed with this location. read more

I don't say this lightly- seriously. I love Taco Bell, been going to them for years, some in Pittsburgh, some in Louisville, some in even California. This Taco Bell BY FAR is the best Taco Bell my mouth has ever laid taste on. The Crunchwrap supreme melts in your mouth like mashed potatoes touching stuffing on thanksgiving. Their cashier stole from me. I went through the drive thought at 2:30am Sunday morning on the 15th and got an order for $20.52. I received my food but realized after I drove off that the cashier never returned my bank card. So I returned to retrieve my card only 10 minutes later. When I returned and told the same drive through cashier that he never returned my card he handed me the card and quickly said "my fault dummy". Now I thought I must of mis heard and not wanting to make a scene I left. I highly do NOT recommend you go to this location if you expect fast service through the app. I ordered my food through the app per usual and when I arrived to the speaker I was told to circle around and give them an additional 2-3 minutes. It took me over 10 minutes to get to the restaurant. I don't understand why app orders are SO MUCH SLOWER than just going to the speaker and ordering or going inside. The restaurant was NOT busy. I'm gonna be honest and give this Taco Bell 2 stars. We were dissatisfied with our experience, but the food was good and they did get MOST of our order right. The three things I had an issue with were the time it took, the contents of our order, and the state that the food was in. My boyfriend and I decided to order takeout, so we used a food delivery app. The driver was waiting for the food at the restaurant for what felt like forever, and we got our food 30 minutes later than we were supposed to. We ordered two Nacho Fries boxes, as well as a chicken chalupa. The chalupa was fine, but the boxes were not. They were missing the main ingredient: the fries. Instead, they gave us each a pitiful bag that had about 6 chips in each one (photo attached). We were really bummed, because we had ordered the Nacho Fries boxes specifically for the fries. My box came with a Doritos locos taco, which I paid a dollar extra for. However, I think I should have been paid to EAT that taco. It quite literally looked like it had been run over by a truck (photo attached). The shell was smashed, and I couldn't pick it up in one piece. I will say that the burrito that was in my box was delicious. But the disappointment with the rest of our order was too much for me to give this place any more than two stars. read more

Came for breakfast and service at the drive thru was fast! We got a crunchwrap with sausage and a quesadilla with steak, both meal deals. We got iced coffees and that was a mistake. Not sure if that's just a taco bell thing or a location specific thing, but it was terrible. They basically just put hot coffee in a cup with loads of sugar and powder creamer. It actually came to us hot in a fountain drink cup, weird stuff. The didn't ask what side we wanted with our meals so one of us ended up with cinnabon holes and the other with a hash brown. The hash brown was basically inedible, so we shared the cinnabons. The crunchwrap and the quesadilla were both really good. QUICK REVIEW- don't get the coffee, specify what side you want if you're getting a meal. IMO - don't get the meal at all. Order the main thing, get you some skillet potatoes for a buck and just have a glass of water. read more

I've had a handful of negative experiences at this location over the years. Never bothered me much - until today. I have NEVER had someone over the speakerphone tell they were on a time limit. They were out of an item I wanted, and I asked for a minute to pick something else. "Excuse me we're on a timer ma'am." No the f*** you are not. I have been coming to this location for almost a decade, and I have never heard some stupid s*** like that. Each car in front of me had double the time I did at the window. NOT TO MENTION, there was literally an ambulance and cops crowding the parking lot. There was maybe 3 cars behind me in line. On top of that she charged me for supreme tacos despite clearly asking for regular. As a service worker getting off their job where I bust my *** for customers, this is just lazy and rude. I've never experienced anything like that in my life. Whoever was working the drive thru at 2 am on 12/2 - tacky and ghetto behavior. This is a great local Taco Bell that is better than your average fast food restaurant. I have the Taco Bell app on my phone-- it's really easy to order this way. If you are really hungry, you can obsessively track the order-- they had my order ready in about 5 minutes! I really like their power bowls that are made up of lettuce, beans, rice, guacamole, tomato, and chicken. (There is also a vegetarian version.) When I am too tired to cook, this is what I order for me and my mom and this is dinner. It's realtively healthy for a fast food meal and it is very satisfying. My daughter and I were in the mood for Taco Bell, so off we went for lunch. Wow, it has been a long time since I have been in this Taco Bell and was pleasantly surprised to see the new décor. The restaurant had a great light and airy feel to it. My daughter ordered the Nachos Bell Grande with a Taco Supreme and drink Combo. I had the Crunchwrap Supreme with a Crunchy Taco and a drink. We then went back and tried a Beefy Fritos Burrito for $1.00. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a great lunch. read more

Teriible customer service 30 people got they're order before me. It seemed like a race issue to me I was the only person of light colored skin. They were very rude when I asked about my order again then told me they have to remake it because they gave it to someone "on accident" I'm almost certain one of the employees walked out with my food and went home. The service here drastically improved from my previous visits. Was a cashier at the register and was very polite and helpful. Offered me what they had as far as specials and such. My only issue is the meal never looks like what it is advertised as. Which is no fault of the cooks but was delicious either way. The service is unusually pleasant and friendly (like seriously, I'm always thrown off by it), the inside of the restaurant is really nice with clean bathrooms, the location is convenient, and they consistently make delicious cheese quesadillas. I'm a vegetarian and was UPCHARGED for REMOVING beef and substituting RICE N BEANS. And the $6 burrito was not even full it was 1/3 empty. Also the chalupa was upcharged .70 for again, removing beef and subbing rice n beans. I paid $10 for 2 things that are sub par. First time here since they remodeled. It looks great and so much cleaner. I've never had bad service here and the staff is friendly but the drive thru is a pain sometimes. I cant believe I'm writing a review for Taco Bell but here it goes... This is literally the only Taco Bell I'll ever go to because it's the only one where I've eaten time after time and not gotten sick. I know it's a lot to expect from a Taco Bell but this one does not live up to its reputation - in a good way! They also have really good service. The only con here is the waiting time in the drive through lane but that is to be expected. If you've had bad experiences with Taco Bell before, give this one a try. Most Taco Bells are the same in terms of the food they offer. What sets this one apart is the service. Friendly personable service. You don't feel like a number, but a guest in their place. I try not to eat at mass chains, just on general principle. But I have to say the quality of food and the wonderful service that I consistently receive from Taco Bell on Loch Raven and Taylor makes me want to say "*f*** counting calories and health" and just eat here all day. The food is good (and correct every time) and the people at both the drive through and the counter are some of the coolest, sweetest people you will meet. Will take the time to notice its your birthday via your ID, and slide you a little gift on the side. I hope their management can keep this up forever. read more

I'm a long time Taco Bell fan and I'm not the type of person who writes Yelp reviews or usually cares enough to. But, the way I was treated at this Taco Bell was beyond unacceptable. I ordered a large drink with my food and received a kid's cup. When I asked if they had any large cups the cashier said, "We outa large cups. Here's your 5 items. Bye" and shut the window before I could even respond. So, not only did I get charged for items I didn't get but also wasn't treated with basic human respect. Let's start off with the obvious. It's a Taco Bell. It's not a Ruth's Chris. But, the service is EXCELLENT, the food is always good, and the orders are always accurate. Things I Like: - The menu is always evolving. You could go there once a month (like I do) and there's always something new and exciting. Taco Bell does this better than MOST competitors. - Price at Taco Bell is always a value play. Where else can you get $10 tacos for less than $10 bucks? - Service here is great. The kids they hire are ALWAYS POLITE, and the last few time I've gone, they have verbally done and said the same things that a Chic-Fil-A employee would say: "Thank you sir! My pleasure sir!" Things I Dislike: - Location is tricky. It's on the corner of a busy intersection. There's only two ways in. One main entrance on the northbound lane of Loch Raven Boulevard, or a side entrance connected to the aging plaza and decrepit Salvo's Auto Parts. - Drive-In lane is a tad tight. For those with a large car or SUV, you have to watch closely to avoid rim rash from a rigid curb. Ultimately, my expectations for fast food service remain low, but the Taco Bell takes my prized 2nd Best in "Towson" behind Chic-Fil-A. Give them a shot! I came here after hiking with some buddies to grab a quick bite. We were all pretty hungry and they were slightly busy (not too bad). I'm a vegan and my boyfriend is vegetarian. I was basically ordering off of the vegan menu on my phone and had to make some changes to the taco bowl. Annoying, I know. But this young man named David was extremely nice. He was really welcoming and made sure to go over my order to get it right. I never expect much from fast food joints (for obvious reasons) and was almost taken aback by how polite he was. IT'S Taco Bell, so the food is the food. This is a complaint about the drive thru at Taylor and Loch Raven. It was poorly set up, so get ready to wait and wait... sure the food takes time to cook, but that is not the real problem. The real problem is the location of the speaker. If there are 2 or more cars in front of you, expect a 5 minute wait between the time you order and drive off. If there are 4 cars we might be talking 12-15 minutes. But this is not about the people inside, if the Bell were to move the speaker back it could accommodate more orders and speed things up. Just saying I am not a fan of the drive thru. Slowest. Taco. Bell. Ever. The food is prepared okay (as good as most Taco Bells can make food), but they have the slowest service for a "fast food" restaurant I've ever experienced. I live within walking distance to this location and I prefer to drive to one over two miles away because it takes less time. I began typing this review while 3 cars behind the window in the drive through, and I'm still currently 3 cars behind the window. If anything, this incredibly slow Taco Bell will help me stop eating unhealthy fast food; I would be able to prepare a meal from raw ingredients and eat it before getting my food from this location. read more

Normally I don't review chain restaurants since they are basically the same. But when I visited this Taco Bell location one morning for the breakfast crunch wrap (sans meat), I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the employees. I have been coming to this location for years. My experience has always been ok. Jean took my order politely, I got my food fast, and Ronald (I think) opened the door for me as I left. He opened to door for each person that walked thru during my visit. Maybe it's the new breakfast menu, but I actually appreciated this level of attention at a fast food restaurant and I hope this location keeps it up. This location was clean.
